The room looked nice, but the smell of rat urine was so strong. It was so strong that I started coughing, had a sore throat, a burning throat, felt dizzy, and nauseous. Actually, I didn't know it was the smell of rat urine. I just thought it was a musty smell and didn't pay much attention, thinking the smell would eventually fade. Until I tried buying air freshener spray at 7-Eleven and sprayed it, but it didn't work. I just had to force myself to sleep because it would be morning in a few hours. Until late at night, around 2 AM, I suddenly woke up because of a sound coming from the wall. It was the sound of rats gnawing on wood. At that moment, I immediately knew that the smell I had been smelling all along was the smell of rat urine. I never would have imagined it!!!!! I'm not very familiar with this kind of smell, but I have some experience that it's the smell of rat urine. After that, I had to quickly get out of there by booking a new hotel at 2:30 AM!!!!! And before leaving, I went to the bathroom. Guess what I found?? Yes, a big cockroach. 🥹

I'm wondering about the good reviews the hotel received. I'm sorry to have had such a terrible experience.

Oh my god, this is a really bad experience for me and my partner. I can't believe I endured that smell all night. Please don't be foolish like me, and DO NOT risk your health like I did.

I start to have problems with all the high score reviews. Perhaps friends and relatives are doing it. This place have seen better days before. Located beside the main road, a mosquito trap beside a dead water. No AC just a lousy fan. ( they offered us an ” upgrade” for 300 THB which brings this place to a ridiculous price compared to other fair boutique hotel
This is not a place to stay- and trust me we slept on the floor in Pakistan, can make comparison….

It was the first accommodation we escaped from. After 8 years of travelling. It was offered as replacement to the place we booked.
I just had to get out of the 6 bed shared room, because of running out of air. The room had no windows, no ventilation. Just fans circulating the air inside.
Pictures of the reception is a total opposite of the shared room and halls before that.
It's by the main street and across the road of cabaret club, making it very noisy.
After leaving that place we got a nice clean well ventilated double room with AC just for 100 baht more.
