Since it is still a newer resort, all the facilities are in excellent shape

This resort was definitely one of the standout parts of our stay in Khao Lak. The rooms are modern, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean – everything feels comfortable and thoughtfully designed

Definitely a 10/10! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We were here for a group retreat and every aspect of our experience was amazing

Food-wise, it’s worth noting that hotel restaurant prices are significantly higher compared to local options. That said, the buffet breakfast and especially the dinner are very generous

We stayed at Avani+ Khao Lak for 2 nights. It was a memorable trip for us. The staffs are very helpful with good service mind. There are many activities to do in the hotel. The arcade room has quite a few games to play

The dinner buffet really stands out with its wide variety of dishes – there’s something for everyone, and the selection is impressively extensive. One of the biggest highlights, though, is the beach

Very good hotel for families with kids. Great variety of pools and super diverse and rich kids club. Breakfast is good but not the best, same for the experienced in other hotels along the trip, probably Thai standards

Location is ok but not the best. It located at the end of the business road, and walking from hotel lobby to the road is few minutes due to hotel size

They could make small adjustments such as not putting all the kids plates and cutlery underneath the drinks station at breakfast creating quite a bit of congestion but obviously that’s just a small detail

We had a pool access room this time which was lovely. So nice to have a quieter swim in the afternoon after the mayhem and fun of the slides etc. This was our second visit and we had a great time

We have an enjoyable stay in The Sands. This is a kids friendly hotel, my son love the water park, pool, room. Environment very nice, breakfast have a lot of choice

I stayed at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort during the rainy season, and I have to say — it was a great experience! Many people think that the rainy season in Thailand is not the best time to visit, but here it was absolutely fine

We extended our stay the minute we saw the beach. The resort is old and has its old charm but the service is great and people are friendly and beach is just incredible and lots of restaurants options around the resort

Thank you for that, Snow! The resort offers beautiful nature, very polite staff, and very nice restaurants. We only had breakfast included, but we went for dinner a couple of times and it was absolutely worth it

In the main restaurant during breakfast, they serve real coffee from a La Marzocco espresso machine, and as a coffee weirdo, this was definitely one of the best things ever. Everything else you can see in the pictures

When we arrived, the first thing we hoped for (after our Bali experience) was a welcome drink with a cold aromatic towel — in Bali it was warm

Then we were lucky to have Snow as our receptionist, a very polite and humble Thai girl. She upgraded our stay to a swim-up suite, which became the highlight of our vacation

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We really like the location, the grounds, the incredibly friendly staff. There are several children's pools for the youngest guests. The room is a bit old, but clean

The beach directly at the hotel is not ideal for swimming, I recommend taking a taxi to Coconut beach - we did that twice and loved it. We also booked a day trip to Similan Islands which I highly recommend

Also, all the staff are friendly and greet you with bright smiles. I'm especially grateful to the reception staff, Manager PHUMI(?) and the female receptionist GHO(?)

Very pleasant stay overall with great surrounding and amenities. The water flow was a bit weak for the shower. Restaurant food might be better out of the hotel but it’s good enough during a rainy lazy day

Pools are various and the beach just in front easily accessible. Beach has some flies but we experienced similar at other more upscale hotels in the area as well

The pool has many features like jacuzzi parts, platforms that you can lie on if you want to remain in water but get some sun, and bar stools

I could spend days just sitting there, enjoying the sounds of the little waterfalls and watching the pond fish swim around and play

Super nice hotel with a great location in Khao Lak. The hotel restaurant is overpriced. A scoop of industrial ice cream costs more than artisanal Italian ice cream in an ice cream parlor in Germany.

Perfect location next to a beautiful beach. Not very crowded and loads of spaces to lie out in deck chairs or on the sand. Hotel staff are excellent, super helpful and kind

The grounds are quite spacious. However, the actual beachfront belonging to the hotel is rather small. A big plus is that the hotel is located right on the beach, and their sun loungers are complimentary

Wonderful hotel! The breakfast buffet is great - a choice of food for every taste, there is meat and vegetables and vegetarian food, yogurts, they can make scrambled eggs/omelette

Monitor lizards roam the property, which I found charming – they keep to themselves and don't bother anyone. Unfortunately, the room's shower had a damp smell

The price was way too expensive during Chinese New Year – over 2,000-3,000 baht for a hotel that usually costs a few hundred. The hotel's BBQ dinner buffet wasn't good either, and there's nothing around the area

Phang Nga Bay was about 5 degrees cooler than the main island, so even under the blazing sun, spending half a day in the connecting pool wasn't hot at all

There hotel provided clean towels and pool towels, bottled and filtered water and amazing to use a dehumidifier in the room as the last time we started in Thailand, there was so much moisture in the room which led to the dampness and damp smell

We had a swim out room and that was amazing to have! We went with family so it was great to just swim to their rooms. The hotel is a little tired but overall was a nice hotel and staff

Location - it is a little drive to the main party of town about 10 minutes but amazing to have beach side restaurants and shops just outside the hotel

Selection at times were limited and after a while you tend to have the same things but more reason to try the restaurants in the area

i recently spent 2 weeks here, and my 60th birthday. The hotel is lovely, the food a staff are amazing, as is the location. We went on lots of trips out to elephant sanctuaries, James Bond island, temples and blessings

The hotel guests are mostly English or English speaking, in contrast to many others in Thailand which are seemingly dominated by the Russian hordes. Everything you could possibly want in a holiday

Best location to surf, great services staffs, good food especially at beach bar and awesome places.

Loved almost everything about the Apsara. It’s a little remote but that’s exactly what is lovely about it

It was my birthday when I was there and the staff gave me a cake and the cleaner did some lovely towel art. The waters is very much an adult hotel and we felt that all the guests were very respectful of each other

The location is excellent being a five minute walk into town with many restaurants and bars to choose from

Really loved our swim up room. Felt like you had your own private pool. It was all so spotlessly clean. All the staff were so lovely and friendly. You never passed them without being greeted

The gardens were so well manicured The choice at breakfast was very varied. You can't possibly complain about the choice, there was something for everyone

Pools and rooms are amazing also a nice warm welcome from reception. Close to bars and bars and restaurants. Our go to bar was “The Nut House” ice cold beer full range of sport

It took ages to get a hairdryer. I felt a bit discriminated against as a Chinese person. The environment was pretty good, but there weren't many activities

I highly recommend the deli cafe, I couldn't stop at just three cups a day! The only minor drawback was the service, which was a little slow, but I noticed there were only a few staff members who were clearly overwhelmed

However, all the service staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were two particularly nice ladies at the front desk who helped with every little detail. The hotel also arranged taxis very quickly

I had a wonderful 10-day holiday at this hotel and was very impressed with the service. Everything about the room changes was handled well, and all services were friendly and professional

On our first day, we were quite shocked to see that some areas of the hotel were under renovation, which made us very disappointed and even consider moving to another place

My toddler loved the 2 separate pools that were perfect for children. Massages by the spa staff were really good too. Perfect retreat location to relax

Lovely hotel with good layout for 2 adults and 2 kids in the room but room (family suite) smelt damp and we found glass medicine ampoules in the refrigerator which alarmed us but the front desk did not seem bothered by.

Stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. Special thanks to Ryan from the Reception who helped us find a room that was better suited to my toddlers requirements. This helped make our visit much easier & happier

Breakfast is very good and has varied to choose. The Resort has so many activities such as theater in the garden, rubber archery, bicycle, badminton, etc. Very nice property with excellent staff and service

Kokulo beach club is on the main sea front and serves cocktails and meals which are very good

Except for the fact that there were a lot of people, everything else was good. I wanted to extend my stay but the price of the same room type increased by 700.

Great location and grounds with mature trees and well tended gardens. Pool and beach have plenty of seating scattered in the gardens. Food was good served in 2 restaurants

We enjoyed our stay of 8 nights very much! When arrived our booked rooms were not ready and we got an upgrade for 1 night for the pool villa and also a voucher for one dinner in the hotel restaurant,which was amazing

The beach area is beautiful and not crowded at all, perfect for long walks and watching the sunset. Breakfast had a good variety of options, both Thai and international food. Everything was fresh and well prepared

We always had enough space for our own, the rooms are big, there are enough seats at the beach and the pool and also enough tables at the breakfast buffet. We checked out very early and our luggage was picked up in time

Great beach with walks north and south to a number of bars and restaurants. Spectacular sunsets every night. Would highly recommend if you are looking for peace and relaxation away from the crowds

Since we didn't have any children, we were able to relax and unwind in peace throughout the entire stay. The private beach in front was also nice, but the shower water pressure was a bit weak.

She also celebrated her birthday when she was there, and to receive an unexpected complimentary cake, made her feel wonderful. Because of that most relaxing stay and experience, I think she'll be back

Everything was great! We booked a room with direct pool access and loved everything about it. The restaurant serves delicious food, so there's no need to look for other places nearby.

I already asked to change my room which reception were very helpful and sent someone to show me other rooms. I found another room which initially seemed better but was in the process of being cleaned

Unfortunately they did not fix the problem and simply rolled up a towel next to the shower door. Although staff responded promptly to any complaints, nothing was actually rectified

After inspecting the room i noticed the toilet seat had stains and was of a low quality. The pool area was not clean and had many stains, also the table outside was stained

The shower leaked each time we used it and created a pool of water covering the bathroom floor, i reported this to reception who quickly sent out engineers

The pool had loads of bugs and the light was flickering. I informed reception, who quickly sent someone to clean the pool and repair the light

Breakfast had a large selection, although a bit pricey it was worth the cost
