We had a great stay in The sand. Great kid's club and kids pool. My daughter enjoyed it so much there. There is a beach right in front of the resort. You can take a stroll along the beach. There are activities for grownup and also kids. The downside is that there are quite some ants in the room.

Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself. The rooms were like a maze. The price was way too expensive during Chinese New Year – over 2,000-3,000 baht for a hotel that usually costs a few hundred. The hotel's BBQ dinner buffet wasn't good either, and there's nothing around the area. It was impossible to get a taxi to the airport; we had to ask the hotel to call one for us. It's really far, costing 2,000 baht to get near the airport.

Since we didn't have any children, we were able to relax and unwind in peace throughout the entire stay. The private beach in front was also nice, but the shower water pressure was a bit weak.

Everything was great! We booked a room with direct pool access and loved everything about it. The restaurant serves delicious food, so there's no need to look for other places nearby.

I was there during Songkran. And there was music party during the night at the beach close to beach front villa where I stayed every single nights! No one told us or proposed any option when we checked in. Wonderful hotel, great service, and very clean. The breakfasts were simply amazing, with a huge variety. The beach is magnificent. There are many restaurants (but they are expensive), though you pay for quality.

It was under management of Marriott Resort and Spa and now it's managed by MVC. Great Find! Was looking for something to bring the family and also have some space. This property was the best find! I am not a MVC member but redeemed using Bonvoy points ( great deal btw) and we got a 2 bedroom suite with an upstairs bedroom with 2 double beds and bathroom/shower.
