Hotels with beach in Khao Lak

Even just being able to briefly explain the key points would have been helpful. It seems the hotel doesn't see the need to train its front desk staff in Chinese due to the relatively low number of Chinese tourists

Conversely, because it's not a Chinese-friendly hotel, most Chinese tourists are less inclined to choose it, creating a mutually reinforcing cycle that's unlikely to be resolved anytime soon

I was pleasantly surprised to encounter two non-frontline staff members who proactively approached me in Chinese to ask if I needed assistance and could even have a simple conversation

We will definitely come again. In close proximity are cheaper beach bars and also a very nice restaurant (Pam's restaurant) that even arranges a free shuttle

The service was impeccable; the staff were patient, responsible, and very nice. The environment and facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness was good

The gym is superb, and the beach facilities—including the sunscreen, towel service, and water—were a great touch. However, our room was located next to an employee/service road, which made it quite noisy at times

We extended our stay the minute we saw the beach. The resort is old and has its old charm but the service is great and people are friendly and beach is just incredible and lots of restaurants options around the resort

When we arrived, the first thing we hoped for (after our Bali experience) was a welcome drink with a cold aromatic towel — in Bali it was warm

We enjoyed some activities at the recreation center where we served by Nat, Nook, Zin and Pla who did a fantastic job. We also had dinner at the main restaurant and the beach found the food very decent

Live music and fire show at the beach were stunning. Overall we enjoyed our time and very much appreciated the friendliness of everyone

Thank you for that, Snow! The resort offers beautiful nature, very polite staff, and very nice restaurants. We only had breakfast included, but we went for dinner a couple of times and it was absolutely worth it

Then we were lucky to have Snow as our receptionist, a very polite and humble Thai girl. She upgraded our stay to a swim-up suite, which became the highlight of our vacation

Nice location, but beach have lots of shells at shore. Hotel looks nice, but needs some maintenance though F&B mediocre apart of breakfast. Very tentative guest service team.

Extremely satisfied with our Chinese New Year family trip! Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself

There were very few Chinese tourists, mostly Europeans, Russians, and some Indians who were all quite well-behaved, unlike the noisy ones you sometimes encounter in places like Singapore

Absolutely top notch stay. Kids loved it, beach is amazing and staff were super kind and supportive. We will stay here again next year.

Phang Nga Bay was about 5 degrees cooler than the main island, so even under the blazing sun, spending half a day in the connecting pool wasn't hot at all

On beach property, stand alone location. Have only local convenience store and some local restaurants nearby. Variety breakfast.

Robinson Khao Lak is a beautifully landscaped beach resort 1. 5 hours north of Phuket International Airport. It's "out of the way" of the heavily touristed Phuket island and that's the main reason I selected it

Outstanding hotel with the best food we have ever enjoyed in a resort and top class sports facilities. Evening entertainment is a little limited but tjat wasnt pur reason for booking.

All staff very nice Nice place and hotel

The service is good but not exceptional. The breakfast that is included in the room price is really good. The maid was really nice and provided us with extra bottled water. There were two weaknesses for me

Secondly, while the grounds were huge there weren't activities like yoga classes, free bicycles, nature walks for the guests. But overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a few days

First as a vegetarian there were very few options in the resort for a vegetarian lunch and dinner

Absolutely loved this hotel! The design and views perfectly matched my aesthetic, and it was incredibly photogenic. The hotel beach has super fine sand, and swimming in the ocean felt very safe

It was really expensive during peak season, and the room design wasn't worth the price. However, the public areas had a great vibe and were perfect for photos. It's right next to Khao Lak Beach

I highly recommend the deli cafe, I couldn't stop at just three cups a day! The only minor drawback was the service, which was a little slow, but I noticed there were only a few staff members who were clearly overwhelmed

However, all the service staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were two particularly nice ladies at the front desk who helped with every little detail. The hotel also arranged taxis very quickly

Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely visit again

There are also lots of small animals around the hotel

The beach is like any beach in Thailand but to the right you have an amazing massage place and to the left you have restaurants and fire shows twice (I think) a week. Khao Lak centre is a 15-20 min ride

The pool by the beach is perfect if you want to have a few cocktails and lounge around by the pool with them

Excellent happy hours - can stay for the entire day at their little pool/beach front area

Idyllic, with kindness spread by the employees working there - you literally feel embraced and held by this place. The quiet swimming pool and the ponds with its views are my two highlights

To sum up, my husband and I fell in love and will be coming back as soon as possible. grateful for the hotel for introducing me to pandan juice, which I am now obsessed with

The rooms are just perfect, ours came out onto the pond and we could sit and enjoy the view for hours. Breakfast was sublime, didn’t get tired of it after 10 days

The hotel is near memories beach, which for surfers are very close. You can just walk to memory beach or call hotel staff to pick you up. The hotel is a bit old, but everything is well-maintained.

i recently spent 2 weeks here, and my 60th birthday. The hotel is lovely, the food a staff are amazing, as is the location. We went on lots of trips out to elephant sanctuaries, James Bond island, temples and blessings

The hotel guests are mostly English or English speaking, in contrast to many others in Thailand which are seemingly dominated by the Russian hordes. Everything you could possibly want in a holiday

The whole experience and holiday was excellent. Thank you very much Apsara hotel and lovely staff , we will be back

Loved almost everything about the Apsara. It’s a little remote but that’s exactly what is lovely about it

Families with young kids may wish for a resort with more water slides, etc but for a more adult group, Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa is an excellent place to put your feet up and enjoy the good life

**Cleanliness:** It was acceptable; nothing outstanding but no major issues either. **Service:** The hotel staff were excellent. I had driven to the hotel, and my car tire was low on air

It was a lovely experience. The villa accomodation was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the restaurant service and the massages. The staff were so friendly.

The only thing that I could definitely recommend to the resort is get a properly wheel chair access, as we have a pram and it was so hard to locate with it. No ramps enough available to facilitate the location

Super nice hotel with a great location in Khao Lak. The hotel restaurant is overpriced. A scoop of industrial ice cream costs more than artisanal Italian ice cream in an ice cream parlor in Germany.

Perfect location next to a beautiful beach. Not very crowded and loads of spaces to lie out in deck chairs or on the sand. Hotel staff are excellent, super helpful and kind

Outrigger has its own app which made ordering additional toiletries for our room simple. Only tricky part is getting to/from the hotel ad it is a 10min drive from Khao Lak town but the hotel can help you to order a taxi

The beach is convenient, first line, sun loungers and towels are already included, the sea is amazing, despite the rather strong waves at this time of year

The hotel tried to make extra accommodations due to ongoing construction on the beach (free dinner, drink, and massage). The construction did not limit access to any of the amenities

It's a rocky beach and there are too many rocks in front of hotel, hence very difficult to get to the beach during high tides. The waves hit the wall of hotel hard during high tides. Beach isn't very crowded though

Downside is quite a bit of maintenance required on pool decking req , and not the best on the beach front. No immediate other bars on the beach requires a good walk along the beach

Major renovation also going on at beach side, that makes it not too good visually. It wasn't mentioned while booking though their website mentions it

Very clean and professionally staffed hotel. At first it was a bit confusing to find where things are and there was no map. Very close to be able to walk around shops and restaurants

Since we didn't have any children, we were able to relax and unwind in peace throughout the entire stay. The private beach in front was also nice, but the shower water pressure was a bit weak.

What a completely faultless experience! My best friend and I booked to stay at The Haven through Luxury Escapes and from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, our experience could not have been better

She also celebrated her birthday when she was there, and to receive an unexpected complimentary cake, made her feel wonderful. Because of that most relaxing stay and experience, I think she'll be back

We booked through luxury escapes and had the most amazing week. The pool and staff were amazing, the buffet breakfast was so good and always had something different, loved every part of this place

To the absolutely amazing staff and management of the resort. I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart in the way in which you made my daughter feel welcome when staying recently

She was travelling on her own and was a bit apprehensive at first. But, she thoroughly enjoyed herself, was made to feel very special and made some great friends with the staff

It was a little bit better there but still we could smell something. The massaging place at their beach was the worst we tried. Just go somewhere else if you want a decent massage

Relaxing hotel with all services available, on a very nice and clean beach, 2 nices pools, close to restaurants and shops, with friendly personnel, I recommend

Great resort. Everything was good in general. The rooms are dated and could use a bit of a deep clean but other than that it was great. Food at breakfast was amazing. Good variety. Big pools and clean.

A bit dated and no lifts to the 3rd floor. Almost everything closes or stops around 10pm including stuff in the hotel, except a pub with a live band on the main road. The beach is alright and clean

The rooms are so clean and spacious, the beds very comfortable and you get 4 comfortable pillows per bed too

We stayed at Seaview Resort in a Deluxe Pool Villa, and overall had a very good experience. The resort has the potential to be truly outstanding, but signs of wear are visible in the general areas

Very secluded place. A large beach. Plenty of sunbeds. Diverse a pool area with Jacuzzi.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Setting is lovely great selection of pools. Including swim up cocktail bar. Next door there is a beach restaurant which does great food and cocktails

For several days now a large French tour group has been constantly disturbing the atmosphere at both the pool and the beach

The rooms are large and spacious, and the staff is super friendly and available for anything. The Thai people are truly wonderful! We'll definitely be back for another stay

Front-Desk staff was always super friendly, available for a quick chat and giving out advice. You'll be invited to a "cocktails with the management" event during your stay

Thanks for everything, was alla perfect and so beautiful!! Your are so kindly 💙🌸 The hotel is beautiful, with attention to every detail and very clean

The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, and the rooftop area is beautiful and a great place to relax. White Sand Beach must be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world

We had a very nice stay at Kantary Beach Villas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and of good standard, and the location close to the beach is fantastic

The staff were very friendly and service-minded, and the rooms were well taken care of with regular cleaning and regular changes. The breakfast is top class with a great selection

😔 Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want peaceful surroundings, an amazing beach, and very good service. I would definitely recommend it🇹🇭😊

Rooms very moldy and smelling bad, they are in urgent need of airing. The beach is nice, but totally not worth it to stay at this hotel. Another positive, hotel was very peaceful and quiet

**Review – Wonderful Stay at Kantary Hotel** Kantary Hotel is beautiful and spacious, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. We would like to especially commend the staff for their kindness and attentiveness

We stayed at this hotel from October 16th to 20th. This is our third visit, so we like it. Convenient location, nice rooms, decent breakfasts. Excellent value for money.

Nice , beautiful resort we become a upgrade to a beachfront room / bungalow good, large bed clean bathroom, good shower, jacuzzi bathtub good breakfast nice garden area Two good pool Nice, sandy beach beautiful view good breakfast have a restaurant and a bar

Excellent snd beautiful hotel Everything was great: ambience, staff, accommodation, facilities, location, etc

The room was fine and within walking distance of the sea as it has a private beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and provided good service.

Couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Nice big clean comfortable room, beautiful grounds and two lovely pools with plenty of sunbeds

plenty of breakfast choices and the location is right on a beautiful sandy beach. Last but not least, every single member of staff we met was sooo friendly and couldn't do enough for us

The resort offers direct access to the sea, making it a great choice for morning walks along the beach and relaxing sunset views

Grand South Sea Kholak is a peaceful beachfront resort that’s ideal for travelers looking to unwind in a quiet, natural setting

Great resort and base for exploration of this fantastic part of a fantastic country. A handful of relaxing restaurants in walking distance but renting a motorbike is recommended. Good beach.

We had a great stay thanks to the lovely staff of Grand Southsea Khao Lak Resort. The hotel just reopened, but all facilities are in use. We enjoyed the big swimming pool and loved the room with a view on the sea

Grand South Sea Khao Lak Resort is a peaceful beachfront retreat that appeals to travelers looking for a quiet, laid-back escape rather than a bustling luxury hotspot

Have a good time in our vacations, so quite place, recharge time of live, a good sea view beachfront from a room and the hotel closed to The Salt Surf for Surf Board Activities also

We were looking for something more affordable and still on the beach, as Moracea had become too expensive for us. Well, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful place

Pros: right in front of the beach. Breakfast was good and staff was nice. You can also rent a motorbike with them. Cons: room felt very closed and dark and little ventilation

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main street, which offers many shopping and dining opportunities. The hotel also features a beach restaurant/bar, but it is a bit pricey, so we skipped it

This is a really great place offering excellent value for money. The location is fantastic, next to a calm neighborhood and right on a beautiful central stretch of Khao Lak Beach

As a result, the atmosphere is very calm and quiet, with beautiful, well-maintained gardens. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and clean. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly

However, the hotel offers a great breakfast with many classic options, local dishes, a good selection of fruit, and above all, fantastic coffee (bean-to-cup)

Room ok, some of them with direct ocean view, beach very close next door, 5 min to the main road. Breakfast nice and enough, clean food.

Wonderful Stay & Warm Hospitality! I had a great experience staying at Kokotel Lighthouse Khao Lak. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a calm, relaxing vibe — perfect for a peaceful getaway

She’s such a kind and genuine person — truly a great example of Thai hospitality. Thank you, Kokotel team, and especially Sai, for the warm welcome and memorable stay

A special mention to Sai, who made my stay even better! She is very friendly, always smiling, and communicates really well in English, which made everything so easy

Good accommodation, polite service, recommendations and friendly conversation.

Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Khao Lak! 🌴😊

The also have different kind of stay options with cottages on beach aswell. The resturant was not opened when we visited. For food you have to walk till then centre which is 30mins away

It is very close to the beach, the environment is very beautiful, and the service attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. Next time I come to Khao Lak, I will choose this hotel again

Best resort in Khao lak. Nway is so responsive and helpful she is the best person at Khao Lak ensuring the property runs smoothly.

Lovely sea views, and quiet beach. Very nice pool and comfortable sunbeds. Shower in room was pathetic, with hardly any flow. Restaurant was always empty(they need to advertise on the beach that they have food available)

Resort with the best location and sea view, on the beach!!! Very comfortable lounge and swimming pool chairs! Also a very good restaurant with very affordable prices and delicious Thai food!

Because I was going to Similan Island, I chose a hotel on Khao Lak Beach

Very good beach hotel, surrounded by greenery. But it is a pity that guests ignore the Smoking ban on sunbeds and the hotel takes no action.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we could not have picked a better location, the room was spacious and clean, the grounds were well maintained the pool areas were clean with plenty of sun loungers the beach restaurant was sea facing with very good food with great service from Nim and her team with the added bonus of sipping a cocktail whilst watching the amazing sunset

The location on the beach front is amazing and our bungalow was set amongst the lush greenery close to the lagoon. Our accommodation was excellent, with lovely comfortable beds and every amenity included

We had an amazing stay at Wanaburee Resort in Khao Lak and couldn’t recommend it more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and nature, with the beach right on your doorstep

Our expectations were far exceeded by the location, the wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation, and the surrounding nature, not to mention, the resorts location on the beautiful beach

Wondering around the resort was always a joy and we found many things to enjoy when using the many different routes to and from our room. We really cannot thank everyone enough for making our stay an amazing one

Great Hotel right next to the Kokotel Lightouse. While the seascape itself does not have amenities besides an open lobby, one can use everything from the Lighthouse Hotel (Pool, Sunbeds etc)

The Lightouse is more modern, even has a big hot water reservoir in the Bathroom so you can shower super hot if wanted, large Balconies and better views, so both hotels have their advantages and are very good value for the money paid

If you are traveling on a Budget and/or are fine with a spacious but not super large room, the Seascape is perfect

More like a hotel for a few days. Conveniently, there are 2 inexpensive cafes and a mini-store nearby. But the hotel has no territory. When we booked, this did not bother us

Two of us, two rooms. Everything we needed. Very close to a wonderful beach. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of nearby restaurants/ bars for the evenings.

Uncomfortable chairs to sit at restaurant. Good location for budget traveler Possible to come back again
