Where to stay in Chaweng Beach

Great hotel with great staff. We were helped everywhere possible. Everything very clean. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Fresh delicious fruit. The Thai food for dinner was authentic and tasty (pretty sure no MSG was used fortunately). Jeen(?) in the lobby was always smiley and friendly. We will definitely come back. :)

Very nice hotel for families, 2 pools, direct access to the beach (not private), free breakfast for kids, plate and glasses for kids. Food is good and includes a few vegetarian options. A very nice hotel. Location is perfect: right at the beginning of Chaweng do you can walk down the whole street in one direction. Also the beach is really nice and clean. Great location, calm hotel which is super important because the main street can get hectic. We didn't get breakfast, ratherenjoyed many of the restaurants that are in Chawang. The pool are is really beautiful, whole place is filled wity greenery. The bathroom can be enhanced with another towel rack, we only had one hook for a towel.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Chaweng Regent Beach resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our room was 203 and whilst the bathroom took my breath away, I would say that if you wanted a quieter nights sleep to stay further into the resort nearer to the beach. This is our second time to Samui and we loved every second of it. The hotel is stunning, rooms are great and the location is fantastic- beautiful relatively quiet beach but when you leave the hotel main entrance your right in the middle of the shopping location. Have to say this is best hotel I have ever been to in Koh Samui, the room is huge and the beach looks amazing. the beach is so clean, private, and so fancy. it’s too not expensive compared to the price as well. food is amazing. I def will have to come back

Loved staying at centara reserve. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, food was very nice and there was a wide selection. You can even take away coffee from the breakfast. Room is spacious as we got an upgrade from the manager Li. Highly recommend!

Again a wonderful stay at Chaweng Buri. Themajaren older resort in the center of Chaweng right on the beach. Villas are in a peaceful green garden. Receptionist insisted on taking a photo of my bookings from trip.com from my phone's apps, although she has sighted my bookings from their own system and also photocopy my passport already. Fantastic hotel with direct access to beautiful part of the beach away from the  noise and crowd of the party area near Ark bar. Couldn’t fault this hotel it really was fabulous.

My friend was very satisfied! The lobby is rustic and grand, and check-in was a breeze. It's a bit of a shame there aren't any convenience stores nearby, but the surroundings are really nice. Oh, and there were quite a few mosquitoes outside.

We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt. Having moved from a nearby hotel, we were happy to see how modern and clean the facilities were. Coconut drinks at breakfast buffet were a plus and the beach was small but cozy. One downside though-- We were away 10am-330pm on our second day and came back to the room to find it still not cleaned... the staff was starting cleaning at 330 which felt very late and inconvenient...

The house keeping is poor, cotton bud was found in the balcony when we check in. Pest control is also poor, as the room is filled with flies and mosquitoes. Gym is clear and staff are in general helpful. The breakfast buffet is quick tasty.

The hotel boasts a great location right by Chaweng Beach with nice views and attentive service. The evening fireworks show was spectacular. The only downside was the inconsistent shower water pressure, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold.

One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The service from staff was consistently incredible, and the buffet breakfast was good. Would absolutely return to such a calm and picturesque location. Personal favourite was the but 1 get 1 free happy hour on the beach from 4-6pm every day!

It's unfinished at the moment but I think this is reflected in the price. After it's finished, I'd imagine it will cost 4-5x more. It's missing a lot of the normal services that some people use and expect, however it doesn't bother me at all. Good location and very large room with a good shower and Aircon isn't controlled by the key card so the room stays cool all day even when you are out. Not tried...

The Teak is a part of the Blue Lagoon, but on the opposite side of the road. We really enjoyed our stay her even though the hotel is far from finished. We had one of the Ocean Pool Villas for our stay. It was clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable. The beach view and easy access to the beach was great. It was very relaxing to lounge by your private pool while feeling like you're on the beach. The majority of the staff are quite friendly and pleasant. Stayed for 7 nights early September, weather superb! Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was a problem for them and no issues checking in and out. Mr Chow is a good fella! Quiet location but close to all the good stuff, the island is small enough to cruise on a scooter anyway. Would stay again 100%!

Lovely hotel on the beach. Small pool but sunbeds on the beach. Far enough away from the really busy part of the strip but only 5 minutes walk to get there. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Taxi rank and 7/11 practically opposite which was very handy. Would definitely staff there again if we returned to the area.

Hotel is under construction with loud noise throughout the day which the hotel says is limited between 9-5. However, it often runs past this time. You cannot escape the noise in your room or by the pool. They only made us aware of the construction the night before our stay. Avoid until the work is done.

Excellent hotel. We stayed in the building near the sea. The gym was decent, and the breakfasts were good – both kids and adults found plenty to eat. The rooms were cozy and clean. The grounds aren't huge but lovely, and there's a shopping mall within walking distance.

The hotel looks quite new or maintained. The room are OK. Only thing is the aircone is horrible. I switched 4 times to annother temperature (25 degrees) , but öfter a while is was falling bakc to 20 degrees. So I woke up and was completely freezing and got a cough and cold.

The location is superb. The hotel is new and modern. The only thing to be aware of is that it's divided into two buildings. The second building is located across the street, and its views are vastly different and less desirable ☹️. Make sure to book the suites with a pool view, as the other building is, to put it mildly, quite disappointing! Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The trip went really well, I was only a bit disappointed by the room size and the breakfast discrimination. The rooms were just bigger than the bed, after having put a baby cot then then the room had almost no space to even open a second luggage, also there were no disposable toiletries which is generally a given. Great stay for families at Chaweng. Very quiet (besides the airplanes which hourly fly direct over the property from 7am to 9pm which was totally fine for us) with big pools directly on the beach. 

Is a very good hotel with excellent service. The location is amazing, in the heart of Chaweng, but totally quiet at night. the beachfront very nice, Yo can laydown in front of the sea, but under the shade of an amazing pergola. My favorite place in Ko Samui

All is good, very cute tropical in the middle of the madness of Chaweng. We heard the sound but it wasn’t that loud to be bothered by. However, the shower, the water was either really hot or really cold, nothing really in between. The staffs are very kind and friendly. A lot of choice for breakfast.

We stayed for 6 nights in this great little resort with fantastic location. Quiet but close to the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and private. The restaurant is great with lots of delicious meal options (the Mango sticky rice is the best we've tried by far!). Overall, a nice, affordable resort with character.

I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was nice and the cleaning girls really did a great job. Location to the beach is perfect. Only the noise from the market was sometimes a bit too much. Would be more perfect if there is a courtship in the shower. All in all a really nice place to stay.
