Poseidon Resort in Koh Tao Island

To Mae, Naing Mr Van and all the staff at Poseidon Resort, You made our stay on Koh Tao so special! The warm smiles every day. The delicious Thai meals. The mango-smile smoothies! Everything has been a joyful and utterly unforgettable wonderful experience. We're so happy to have done our research and selected Poseidon Resort. We came for the snorkeling and it was incredible. You can be incredibly proud of what you've achieved here...a little piece of paradise. Special thanks to Naing who we fell in love with. Your beautiful smile was always there to greet us and made us feel so welcome every day. Your sense of humour had us constantly laughing. We will always remember, with such fondness, this special time.

Poseidon is one of my favorite places in the world 🙏 Not only because Tanote Bay is a beauty by it self and it’s amazing to snorkel and the place is spectacular. But this resort always make me feel at home and it’s so relaxing. The staff is so warm and welcoming and Mama Sita here self ( the owner) is one of the coolest and warmest women I’ve ever met 🙏 So thank you Poseydon you rock my world! I will always come back here ❤️ wish you the best 💫 Christine

Good Place

Great place, best beach on the island, nice staff, very very tasty food in the restaurant 😀 next time I will definitely stay here. The owner of the hotel is very helpful and sociable 🤗 the staff tries to do everything for your comfort.

I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. The staff is friendly; they are doing the best they can. The food is decent. The room was much more than I expected. I was happy with my choice and would choose this place again.

We didn’t stay at Poseidon Resort. The review is based on the restaurant at Poseidon resort Tanote Bay. We hired a taxi with a driver to take us to 4 places for 1,500 Baht. The fish dish and drinks at Poseidon were good. The location of the restaurant is excellent.

Amazing hotel, I had the best room right on the water. The beach is really cool and so is the room. However, there is only a bed, a mini table and that's it. But it doesn't matter when you arrive they set up a hammock for you on the balcony...and that makes the difference. I extended my stay and I recommend it.

The stay was amazing! It’s everything perfect there! Beautiful location with nice food! The rooms are clean and the owner is a very nice lady, who is always around. It’s right at the beach and if you wanna dive, there is Buddha View Diving Center only 100 meters away from your room!
