Mada Lanta Mai Keaw in Lanta Island

I'd like to share my experience of staying in Mada Lanta. First off - the family living here is wonderful, they will take care of you the way you would take care of your family. Always kind and helpful. They know people who organise trips around Ko Lanta and local islands. There is a kitchen in the premises (not in the room) so you can eat continetal breakfast - thai style, very tasty Pad Thai, fried rice and more. They rent scooters! Rooms are cleaned daily and have everything you need to get ready for exploting the island. They are cosy with big bed, a place to put your stuff away, some hangers, a small fridge, fan and AC on demand. Lots of socets to charge your stuff. Toilet is Thai style - toilet bowl, shower, washbasin. Outside a small terrace with two chairs, a table and a hammock, amongst the lush well maintained garden. In two words - strongly recommend. - Greg and Nati!

Definitely recommend! Our bungalow was new, very clean, had good linens, and is suitably equipped for longer stays. The property is beautiful! You are surrounded by tropical trees and plants with a wide variety of birds and the grounds are very well kept! The location is peaceful and relaxing yet only a few minutes drive from the main busy center of the area. The elephant sanctuary is basically across the road! They have a nice little restaurant and offer laundry service on-site. The owners are incredibly kind and sweet. We arrived without a reservation and were welcomed like old friends!

Wonderful place to stay, very peaceful and quiet. The family that owns the place is also very nice and helpful. The day I was leaving I wasn’t feeling too well, so they gave me some paracetamol to take with me. Really thoughtful. Having a bike is definitely recommended though, Mada is not too close to the more busy parts of the island.

Amazing place to stay, right in the middle of the island. The bungalows are super cool, inside a beautiful garden. You have a fridge in the room. You can rent motorbike there, and there is a restaurant with nice food and cheap price. The owners are so nice and friendly, and they will help you with anything if you need to book a trip to islands or to another place. Recommend 100%

Spend 5 nights in this place located in the heart of the island. Very nice staff, good quality bungalow, well equipped, with low price. You can rent a scooter there for 150 bath a day and reach easily all the spots of the island.

Many restaurants and a 7 eleven are 5min driving from the hotel.

Honestly this is an amazing place to stay, I’m so glad i found it! Tucked further away from busyness in its own little Thai village. We stayed in one of the King Size Bungalows, the room is fantastic, really big & clean!
The couple that own it are amazing & just made our stay in Koh Lanta all the better. They are soo friendly and couldn’t help us enough, they are able to help with trips etc.
Cant wait to go back to Koh Lanta and this will definitely be the accommodation i go back to!!

MADA Bungalows is close to Klong Nin Beach (5 Minutes by motorbike) a little bit up the hill in the direction of Mai Kaew Cave. The location is super quiet, but not far from sights, Restaurants and shop, beaches.
Mada also have a Small restaurant, perfect to start your day right.
The Garden area is very tidy and taken care off really well.
The Owners are extraordinary welcoming and nice and offer help with anything you could possible need help with. We felt like having a family to return to After long days at the beach. The Bungalows are modern & clean. The Water pressure is on western Standard and was the best we ever had in Thailand. So you really get a lot here for your money. We are looking forward to return to this place very soon and highly recommend it to anyone staying in the centre-south of lanta.

We had a great stay at Mada Lanta Mai Keaw! The family who runs this place was just sooo lovely! They helped us out when our motorcycle broke und even gave us some fresh fruit, I guess just because they liked us! :)
This little oasis is located near by Klong Nin Beach, so it‘s easy to reach mostly any corner of the island from there. It’s unbelievable how good they take care of all the plants and the whole facility.
Definitely worth staying for longer, if your searching for a quaint place on Ko Lanta!

This is deep in the jungle but we liked it very much. The host family was friendly and they cooked healthy and delicious food for us. We also rent a scooter for 4 days. It seemed, that electric power was not that stable, because we had two times power failure and sometimes the light was flickering. The main problem with no power was, that the water heater is powered by electricity, so you better make warm thoughts while you are washing yourself;-)
