Lanta Nice Beach Resort in Lanta Island

A decent hotel right on the beach front.
Well priced, we stayed in one of their 2nd row beach bungalows.
Rooms are big with king size bed, tv, safe etc.
On first glance the room seemed pretty good, however some serious maintenance is needed especially in our room.
Only one side table, only one plug socket.
Lights rusty, ceiling had all bubbles over it.
One side light that didn’t work and a strange 2 bathroom situation where you had a door to take you into the toilet which stunk, followed by another door into a big shower room.
No shelf for body wash, no hooks in the room for towels to be hung. These small changes would make a huge difference to our experience.
If you book the Cheaper rooms, then you’re across the main road.
Nice terrace with our room, 2 chairs and a table.
Good pool but a fair few children in there.
Beach is beautiful, again a little money could be spent on new sun loungers.
About 12 loungers in total on the beach and some check chairs.
It was hard not to find a broken sun lounger. All did come with nice umbrellas though.
Food was good and most nights they have some sort of live entertainment and singers perform by the bar.
Also worth mentioning, this is a Muslim run hotel and if you travel over Ramadan, the restaurants close between 18.30 and 19.30 each day.
