Reviews
The location is perfect — peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature, yet everything you need is easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the diving/snorkeling experience. It was absolutely amazing, with crystal-clear water and many different kinds of fish. Truly unforgettable.
I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Phi Phi Island. I would love to come back again!
A quiet and beautiful resort ,in a beautiful beach next to the jungle .
Everything is 10/10 .
The gym is terrible. All the glass is dirty. The view is beautiful, but there is so much dirt that you can barely see outside. What are you doing with the money you charge? Invest in new gym equipment — the facilities are falling apart.
The same applies to the bicycles: very old and poorly maintained. There are many 5-star hotels that charge one-third of what you charge and deliver far more.
There is no proper program for children. The hotel hosts many families, yet there are no staff or monitors organizing activities for kids. The hotel clearly needs a major upgrade.
I also believe the photos on the website do not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel.
On the positive side, the staff are very helpful, and dinner was acceptable. That said, during the five days we stayed at the hotel, I only ate there once — because the restaurants near the hotel are excellent and cost about one-third of the price.
For example, I paid 120 baht for a Corona in Phi Phi, while the same beer at the hotel cost 360 baht. That’s not just expensive — the prices inside the hotel are simply unreasonable.
One of the highlights was the private long boat tour organised by the hotel. It was fully customisable, absolutely beautiful, and very well priced. It ended up being the best day of our stay and something we would highly recommend.
The transport organised from our Phuket accommodation all the way through to SAii Phi Phi Village made the journey feel seamless and took a lot of the anxiety out of travelling between islands, which we really appreciated.
The rooms themselves were very large and had everything we needed. The service and staff were consistently great and always friendly, and we especially loved the on-site coffee shop.
The food on the island was fine but nothing memorable, so we didn’t eat much during our stay. One challenge we found was securing poolside beds, as towels were often left on the beds unattended all day. We’d suggest the hotel consider removing towels after around 30 minutes so more guests have a fair chance to enjoy the pool area.
Overall, SAii Phi Phi is a beautiful, peaceful resort with excellent service and organisation. Perfect if you’re looking to truly switch off in paradise.
The place is stunning, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We stayed in a villa with a truly spectacular view that took our breath away every single day.
Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained, and you could really feel the high standards throughout the entire property. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that made every morning a pleasure.
Most of all, we want to give special recognition to Marie Fernandez, who took care of us in the most exceptional way. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our stay truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcomed at all times.
The entire staff was perfect – warm, attentive, and always smiling. This hotel offers not just a place to stay, but a complete, luxurious experience. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Thailand.
The hotel front desk staff doesn't speak any Chinese, so you'll need to communicate entirely in English. You can book your return transportation when you check in.
The hotel environment is very nice, the staff are all very polite, and the rooms are clean. The only downside is the excessive number of mosquitoes! Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent! Also, bring some mosquito patches, as there are many mosquitoes outdoors too!
The hotel has a Western restaurant, a buffet restaurant, a Thai restaurant, etc. The food quality is generally mediocre, and the prices are not cheap. The Thai restaurant is halfway up the hill, requires reservations, and it's dark with lots of mosquitoes, so I don't recommend going there.
For the return trip, I'm not sure why we shared a boat with guests from three other hotels along the way. There were a lot of people and luggage, and it was very crowded. My boyfriend and I sat together, and some white "mean girls" commented that we were selfish and didn't understand why we didn't sit separately to maintain balance... but no other couples on the boat were sitting separately. Since we were the only two Chinese people, it's hard not to suspect discrimination.
I was upgraded to a villa upon check in which was a lovely surprise. My villa was great - modern, clean, spacious and well-maintained.
The pool areas and hotel in general were fantastic. The gift shop was a lot larger than expected and handy to buy snacks and souvenirs.
I did a boat trip with the hotel to maya bay and other nearby islands - would highly recommend, well worth the cost and super convenient given the location of the hotel. Thank you to our tour guide, Soon for a fab trip! I also did kayaking in the mangroves near the hotel and bike hire (both free of charge for the hotel guests). Again, my tour guides for kayaking were brilliant.
I would second what others have said about recommending wearing sandals / shorts when arriving or leaving the resort as you may have to enter the sea slightly.
I would definitely stay here again!
We were picked up and brought to a port for a one hour journey on their speed boat to the back entrance to the hotel. On arrival, it was cool to wade through the water from the boat but the two minute journey to hotel had rubbish everywhere- an impression a 5 star hotel should not have. Check in was brilliant and our room was very cool- a hut on stilts with a lovely terrace and a very functional set up. However, again missing the luxury of 5 star- poor pillows and a fuzzy tv channels.
The pool and beach area have spectacular views and comfort, both pools offer a level of peace that is unparalleled overlooking the bay and you really get the sense of relaxation swimming in them. Same with the beach, at dusk you are as close to paradise as you can get. However, the quality of food in the Pool bar is frozen burgers even though it is pitched as wagyu and priced at higher quality offering. Breakfast has a lot of variety but again missing five star offerings such as barista coffee and instead has a bad quality bean to cup machine as well as stray cats which are not ran away by staff and are let wander the breakfast area ( not a cat person and find it disgusting they are allowed to stay)
The hotel also request you to download an app to communicate with them, but it can take up to 30 minutes to respond and you may not get your request actioned e.g we asked for bigger bathrobes and never got them (we are both European medium sizes and these were tiny on us) and the buggy to go to the spa during heavy rain never arrived (the walk is actually fine as they give umbrellas but the spa recommended we take this offer)
The staff here are brilliant though, and I highly recommend the half day trip to maya bay. Our guide was fantastic and the snorkelling was one of my favourite experiences in Thailand! Yo and Pancake also have great facials and massages in the spa!It did feel like there was not enough staff, an example being there were 10 people waiting for coffees with only one barista in their on site cafe who was on point to take orders and make coffees, which meant an iced latte took 20 minutes to make even though I was first in queue of the ten. One person cancelled their order as after 25 minutes they did not receive it.
Overall, we were disappointed not to receive what we see saw on their Instagram. Felt like a catfish experience as this was the accommodation we were most looking forward to out of the 5 on our honeymoon and it was the only one we feel we did not get the services promised
