Sawasdee Village in Kata

Pros: The hotel itself is quite lovely, and the service was generally good. The pool is beautiful. The location is excellent, with a shuttle bus to the beach and it's also walkable. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was quite low. The cleaning wasn't exceptionally thorough; there was dust on the desk.

The room was very clean, and the breakfast was good. The service was excellent, everyone greeted us warmly. The most enjoyable part was swimming in the pool, admiring the exquisite decorations around – it really made you feel like you were on vacation.

The hotel has a graceful ambiance with a distinct Thai local flavor. Exploring from the lobby entrance onwards, there were delightful surprises at every turn. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful.

We loved our 3 night stay in a garden view suite close to all the wonderful amenities. The buffet breakfast was excellent, thre staff fantastic and swimming in the long pool pictured, our daily highlight. 4 star accommodation at its Asian best.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and they even offer Chinese-speaking service! The staff are incredibly nice. We booked for two nights, and on the last night, they upgraded our room, which was an amazing surprise during our trip. I really hope everyone gets to experience it! Highly recommend!!

A truly beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Kata beach, Phuket.

The staff from the initial greeting at the entrance to our morning departure was nothing but helpful and amazing.

The hotel itself is a work of luxury. The rooms aside from being meticulously clean, are mesmerizing with its design and decor.

The pools are beautiful and there are plenty of lounge chairs when needed. The pool swim up bar is also a great addition for a day at the pool.

If the beach is your thing, there's a shuttle every hour that drops you off and picks you up so you can enjoy that pristine, world renowned Phuket beaches.

We will definitely be back.

The Thai ambience was a masterful feast for the senses. The decor, scent and sound...textures of cultures sprinkled across this little Village. And attention to detail is sublime. I would wake up early just to breathe it all in just so I don't forget.

It's magical and transformative.

It's one of the best planned hotels for adults that I've visited. Two large pools (1.2m deep) and one that runs like a stream between the two rows of cabanas. The hotel is almost always fully booked from what I saw.

Even comes with a gorgeous Thai style a smoking verandah that has swings. Not a tiny hovel by the bin, this hotel treated smokers as adults and with respect. Genuinely thrilled. Genuinely Asian.

The front desk was on the ball and handled things fast! They can organise any package that you wld like. I stuck to spas around Phuket.

Their in-house Spa, called Baray Spa is...heavenly. I strongly recommend Package 7 + ask to use to some of the massage time for a oil head massage. I left feeling lighter, fresher and so much happier.

This hotel has a very authentic Thai vibe! 🏨 The environment is fantastic, and all the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. As soon as you step in, you're greeted by a wonderful scent of soap mixed with lemon, which is absolutely lovely. The welcome drinks are delicious, and the location is excellent – it's just a short walk to the beach, and there are tons of shops nearby, making it super convenient for getting around.

While the location is off the beach if you’re inclined you needn’t go anywhere else.

The resort is a holiday in itself. It is huge but feels intimate

We were privileged to stay in a Baray Villa that offered a 5 star experience. Massive bed, amazing bathroom, insane jacuzzi/pool area and plenty of room to chill. Only downside is that there may be limited sun in your private area.

All pool areas are amazing especially the cabana pool.

Staff went the extra mile to assist and showed true Thai hospitality.
