Stayed 10 nights Jan 2026. This place needs a LOT of maintenance. The pool is ok but the surrounds have broken and derelict gym equipment. I would not take young children here. There is an high risk of falling from a height off the pool area as there is no fence, and straight into a drain. There is an ongoing smell of sewerage, because the drains in the showers are never cleaned properly, and as for cleaning it is the bare minimum by the rather grumpy staff. When we arrived we were greeted by a slovenly bloke with no shirt on and a pair of dirty track pants and bare feet. Not a great first impression and he had a bit of an attitude. He also demanded we pay cash. Other annoyances, they advertise services and facilities that are not provided e.g satellite tv etc. there is no food or drinks available apart from a kettle by the pool, so “resort” it is not. We enjoyed the walk down to the main road (about a kilometre), but some may find that a bit too much. It is close to the Captains Bakery which is a nice little cafe for breakfast. All up, it is not great, maybe only just ok given the price. Oh, and it has the hardest beds I’ve ever experienced in many trips to Thailand.

This is not a resort. It is rooms with a pool. There are no resort type ammenities.
The rooms are comfortable and reasonably clean.
The services advertised are not available or a the very least not communicated to guest.
There is good wifi but no tv as advertised
There was no airport pick up
The shuttle service is an overpriced taxi service.
The booking site states you can pay online. We booked 5 rooms for 10 days and when we arrived were advised that he required cash, TBH 75000
The worst part is the dangerous pool deck. You would not want to take small children here.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The owners and the staff are truly wonderful people – always friendly, welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. The swimming pool was spotlessly clean and a great place to relax after exploring the island. The location is also excellent, a perfect base for discovering the beauty of Koh Lanta. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, kindness, and a great atmosphere.

The hotel owner is a scammer. We booked at Booking at a price of 990 baht per day, which is already very expensive for such a hotel, but the owner, taking advantage of the fact that we arrived late in the evening, were tired and all the good hotels around were occupied, began to come up with some stories that Booking was from him takes large commissions and we have to pay in the end not 990 baht, but 1287 baht per night!!! The owner is a very unpleasant and rude person; in 6 months of traveling around Thailand, we were the first to encounter something like this. The hotel itself is not worth the money, it is old, dirty, the plumbing is broken, the air conditioner is old, loud and dirty, the TV is from the 1990s, the duplex rooms are connected to the neighbors in your room with a door to the next room!! and the room is very noisy, you can hear absolutely everything from the next room and the street, you can hear the neighbors talking, snoring, going to the toilet, it’s terrible! worst hotel in Thailand.

It was a weird experience. When we arrived we were told that we will stay in a different apartment which was near the main road so we assume that they were overbooked and used the other place as a back up. We were taken there by the owner (search Lanta Manta in google maps), it was a nice apartment, close to the restaurants and near the beach, but obviously we wanted to have the pool by our doorstep because the sea was full of sea lice and it was impossible to swim in it without getting stung all the time. The place we stayed in was about 20-25min walk away from the resort and we just walked there to use the pool, but for the second day we got the scooter from the resort because on the way we saw a 5-6 foot long snake so it wouldn't be nice to walk on that road in the dark. The scooter was delivered to us so that's a nice thing from them but overall it was a weird experience.

This property is located further from the beach. There was too little breakfast in the morning. Just two toast and one fried egg. Otherwise it was a cozy and quiet hotel with nice staff, laundry service, totally okay room and a nice pool.

I went to that resort along with my friends, who had booked the open water course, so they could use the swimmingpool on the first trainning day. I asked the staff whether I could take a bath while they were taking the lessons, and the answer was "yes".
When leaving the resort, the owner (I believe he was the owner) asked us for 100 bat per person, as the swimmingpool was only hired for the students. He was rude and aggresive. There was no way to keep a normal conversation and make him understand that the price has to be advertised in advanced. What if he had asked 1000 bat?
Besides, there were several rats around the swimmingpool. Disgusting.

A peaceful location- a little off the beaten track and in a less touristy section of Pra Ae. The apartment was big, there was a good fridge and hotplate. However, this is an odd place. The apartment was on two floors. The bedroom curtain didn't quite cover the window. There is a small toilet and shower under the stairs, but the washbasin is upstairs on the balcony, with another shower cubicle, in clear view of the car yard behind. While there were 5 beds, there was only cutlery and crockery for 3. To be fair, this was rectified quickly when we asked.
We also regret booking a taxi through the owner. We were over charged and taken in a cloud of exhaust fumes. I would not recommend this place and I wouldn't go there again.
