Chivapuri Beach Resort in Chang Island

We spent 11 days at Chivapuri over the Xmas & New Year period & had a fantastic time.The resort is very tranquil.Location is excellent.Nice beach with a few beach bars offering excellent, cheap food & drinks.Good prices at the resort bar tooo.There are paddle boards, canoes & scooters for hire. Good massages on the beach. My son explored the island on a scooter while we relaxed by the pool.Rooms were clean but very tired looking.Staff we’re friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here for a chilled holiday.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The room was absolutely stunning with the comfiest bed we stayed in on our whole trip around Thailand. The communal areas were well kept with a lovely beach and the perfect pool. The breakfast was great. Lovely restaurants nearby within walking distance and some bars. We will definitely return when in the area.

We just finished a three-night stay at Chivapuri Beach Resort on Koh Chang as two couples traveling together, and it was absolutely wonderful. This place is a rare find—where untouched nature meets luxurious convenience in the most effortless way.

The resort sits on a peaceful, pristine stretch of beach that feels secluded and serene. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly maintained. Waking up to the sound of the waves and stepping right out onto the sand was pure bliss.

The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We had a couple of small issues during our stay, and they were resolved quickly, professionally, and with such kindness that we appreciated the service even more.

We also loved the beachfront restaurant and pool area. The food was delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the sunsets were unforgettable—some of the best we’ve seen.

Chivapuri is perfect for anyone seeking calm, natural beauty without giving up comfort. We’re already planning our return visit and can’t wait to come back to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend!

Okay, great place, not that easy to get too, but that’s the price you pay for secluded getaways.

The service is very good and professional, check in was friendly and efficient. Clean rooms, but there are some things that can be improved.
One thing to look out for is when you don’t own a vehicle it is quite far to get to the living world. If you don’t mind just book!

I recently spent almost 6 glorious weeks at this very comfortable and well appointed resort. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the service was efficient, the atmosphere peaceful and the room was clean, luxuriously fitted and well maintained. Wonderful view from the sparkling pool and long walks on the expansive beach made for a relaxing, out of season, holiday.

The service at this top quality resort is first class. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is luxurious and the food is well prepared and of a high standard. Highlights for me are the buffet-style breakfast, and the pool, beach and massage areas. I thoroughly recommend this well appointed and maintained resort for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. The infinity pool is a real highlight – ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If you’re looking for a quiet and calm place to recharge, this is the right spot. Excursions can also be booked directly from the hotel, which makes exploring the area super convenient. Highly recommended!

The place is very nice. The room and services are great. The beach is clean. We have had a nice time at the restaurant, with great cocktail and very good food. We have lived 3 days barefoot, going from the room to the beach to the bar and restaurant. We have had a really great time.
