Samed Thanee in Samet Island

Edit: I don't know what happened,but they refunded me.
Maybe they saw the review, maybe my Thai friend who called convinced them, maybe agoda tried speaking to them one more time,...in any case still 3 stars cause this way of dealing with it was really unpleasant. If they wish to explain themselves on why they didn't want to refund despite the heart breaking letter we and agoda shared with them, I'll be happy to hear.

Most horrible experience.
We are already in the very difficult situation of being Europeans stuck in Asia cause of the war in the middle east and don't know when we'll manage to go back. On top of this the ferry company cancelled our ferry and this location was not willing to refund our stay and still keeping our money.
They of course can cause we paid through agoda and these were the conditions, though I find it extremely inhuman, and quite surprising given the general Thai supportive kindness (I'm literally writing this from the house of a super helpful Thai person who served us coffee today and hearing of our misadventures offered to host us lol ❤️❤️❤️)

The rooms are fairly decent, but the service is questionable. Overall, the staff don’t seem very welcoming it feels like you’re bothering them. Also, don’t expect housekeeping to come by your room, even during a longer stay.
