Awa Don Muang in Bangkok

Booked this while awaiting our flight to Vietnam. The rooms were musky, the beds were dusty while the toilet had spiders and ants. We stayed on the middle floor and there was no elevator. The owner was kind to us and offered us a taxi ride to the airport but location wise there are better places to stay as this area requires you to either grab directly or to the nearest BTS to get to the airport. The areas around had limited options for food and soi dogs in the area means we had to grab to get food apart from the 7/11 beside.

Stayed for one night so I could get to the airport early, room wasn't what was described they had removed the TV and the Fridge from the room even though it was described to have these features when booking also supplied us with half used shower gels which had someone else's hair on it.

You get what you pay for! But for a 7 hour layover in Don Mueang it was the only economical option available

The bathroom and toilet were not clean and they did not provide any soap to wash hands with. This was the easiest checkin however.

It is close to the airport but you will have to get a taxi to get there. Taxi was on average 200 baht in both peak and off peak times.

Inside the building is quite old and different from photos shown on Google. The outside is untidy and not clean. My room has smell and broken shower. The toilet floor and sink are wet when I arrived.

The area is dirty. There’re many stray dogs at night and probably too dangerous for those who are scared of them. My blanket is dirty and I felt itchy all over my legs.

The only good thing is the location as it’s near Donmuang International Airport and has 7-11 nearby.
