Reviews
The beds are quite spacious and surprisingly high—honestly feels like two people could fit. They’re also very comfortable. I liked that each bed comes with its own lockers, plus an extra small locker for valuables, so storage felt secure.
The hostel is clean and well-maintained. You do need to remove your shoes before going in, but that helps keep the place tidy. There’s no elevator, so be prepared to use the stairs. The shower and toilet areas are separate, which is convenient, and there’s also a space for doing makeup or skincare. They also offer laundry, which is a plus for longer stays.
One of my favorite parts was the rooftop area, it’s a nice spot to relax and unwind. For the price, this place is very affordable and definitely worth it.
The only downside is the distance to BTS Ekkamai, it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to walk. But on the bright side, it’s close to a mall and a 7-Eleven, so you still have easy access to essentials.
Also, just a small note: the hostel is located on the 2nd floor of a restaurant (you’ll notice a cow statue outside), so it might be a bit tricky to find at first.
Overall, a clean, budget-friendly hostel with great staff. I’d stay here again.
The staff were terrible and largely absent. When I checked in, they demanded a 200 baht cash deposit for the key. I checked out after 9AM and no one was there to return my deposit, so it was never returned. There was rarely anyone at the desk during the three days I stayed there.
It’s far from any tourist attractions. There were a couple of bars in the vicinity, but even they were about a 25-minute walk away. Any other attraction required a long taxi ride, so while the rooms may be cheap, travelling from this location made it an expensive place to stay.
There are cleaning rules posted throughout the hostel, yet it’s filthy. There was also a very strange rule posted in the bathroom telling guests not to pee in the shower. Why do they care?
The reception area has several betta fish kept in terrible conditions, as well as a taxidermied turtle. Where did they get that turtle?
They also don’t advertise that the only access to the hostel is via a steep, narrow spiral staircase. It’s dangerous and completely inaccessible for many people.
I’ve slept in some bad hostels and had no complaints. All I care about is a place to throw my bags and sleep. THIS place deserves to fail: lazy, disrespectful staff and exceptionally poor standards and service.
There are no common areas except for a run down rooftop.
The place smells really bad, it's super dirty and dark.
Good things: great location, it's really cheap and has good AC from night till noon in the rooms.
I found a dead roach and all the spaces were just generally gross and had a bad stench.
Right in the downtown area of thonglo
Price is really good and affordable
My buddy and i we booked the bigger room upstairs on the 3rd floor, cause he had a friend with us for a few days while we were exploring bangkok! The 3rd floor is nice, it has the bigger rooms with private bath and toilet!
It is also super close to the roof where we are able to spark up a jay or some ciggies.
The people that stayed at the hostel were also super chill! The staff were also super nice and kind!
There is convince store 7 eleven! right across the street for all your late night cravings.
It’s also right beside don doni donki! Not sure is that right spelling but they got like everything you would need when you are travelling. I have been going there for food mainly and some cheeky snacks.
