The hotel location is excellent — just walking distance from Khaosan Road, which made it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, a good experience with a great location and welcoming service.

Great location, but the cleanliness really wasn't up to par. There were small bugs and cockroaches running around on the table and near the fridge. I wonder why they don't spray for pests when they clean? And to top it off, they charged for luggage storage, which I found quite surprising.

The facilities were old, but the environment was okay. First, the door lock was broken and needed to be changed. The front desk lady insisted I wait in line, and her attitude was very firm. I told her I was exhausted, but she wouldn't listen. Then she started telling me to speak English and even threatened to call the police. I brought out my 'old stock' (meaning I got serious and argued back), educating her that while Thailand and Vietnam were historically tributaries to China, and our economy might be behind Europe and America, we are still stronger than other Southeast Asian countries. They changed my room, but I was still upset! There was no hairdryer in the room; I had to ask for one. The light switch box was dirty, there were bugs in the room, the faucet was broken, and there were mold spots on the bathroom ceiling.

The hotel's location is indeed convenient, the price is decent, and the service is quite good; the front desk staff are patient and friendly. However, other aspects leave much to be desired.

Facilities: Considering the age of the hotel, there are no convenient charging spots by the bed. The central air conditioning switch occasionally makes a loud electrical buzzing sound at night, and the hotel's soundproofing is very poor – you can hear people talking outside in the morning.
Hygiene: The bed, carpet, and tables randomly refresh with cockroaches from time to time.

If you can overlook these minor flaws, the hotel is still a good option given its value for money.

Basically on the door step to the grand palace , the king drove past twice! This was incredible…. However it means all the windows need to be closed for his passing. Bare this is mind when booking a room with a balcony. Would i stay again? Yes if i want to stay next to the palace and have the chance to see the king of thailand. An honour… amazing walking distance for khaosan road

The biggest plus of this hotel is its proximity to the Grand Palace, which is incredibly convenient. It's also just a few minutes' walk from Khao San Road. While the hotel itself is a bit old, the value for money is outstanding. It's a must-choose if you're not too picky about the accommodation's condition.

Very convenient for people traveling to Thailand for the first time. The hotel offer buffet breakfast and close to all amenities. My only was cockroaches 🪳 in my room. They were so many small cockroaches 🪳 and the lift was very small, only 3 people can fit in.

The hotel lobby is spacious, and the room hygiene is excellent. It's conveniently located near the entrance of Khao San Road, making transportation easy. However, rooms facing the main road can be a bit noisy. Perhaps due to the Songkran festival, there were still loud noises past 3 AM.

The air conditioning is a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine. The location is quite ideal, with plenty of local food stalls nearby, a 7-Eleven right outside, and songthaews readily available. The hotel price is very reasonable. I recommend it for families with children and couples. There's an indoor pool, and the opening hours are posted on the door, though I didn't go in – Bangkok is really hot!
