Great place right in the heart of Bangkok very clean and quiet with pleanty of markets and food every where

Our hotel stay was exceptional!! The staff went out of their way to ensure it!! The hotel itself is beautiful - traditional thai architecture, with a very warm feel. Our room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and other hotel facilities. The location was amazing - very central, in the heart of the shopping district. But above all, it was the staff at the hotel who made us feel at home.

We stayed for a night before heading home as we wanted to shop in the area and it's a great base if you want to shop before leaving Thailand as many markets and malls are in walking distance. Someone said the hotel made them feel like in the movie "The Shining" and we joked about it as well, but to be honest, the hotel has a lot of interesting history and seems to be one of the oldest ones in the area. Surprisingly we did enjoy our stay. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, the pool area is clean and can relax there, the Indian restaurant next to the reception has drinks as well which can be consumed at the pool area. Our room looked renovated, size was good and it was clean, everything was working as intended. Breakfast was okay, buffet for sure would be better, but it seems like not many guests are staying there and therefore wouldn't be feasible, it was good though. Even though the deposit was returned without problems, but the amount was a bit high compared to other hotels, maybe they had bad experiences with guests in the past, not sure. A suggestion would be to have some more lightning in the reception and entrance, to make it more lively and welcoming. But overall it was a good stay, nothing to complain!

It seems to have been built a long time ago and is not popular anymore, but I really liked it
The staff are so sweet, and there aren't many guests, but I liked its vibes

Good very nice experience

A fine hotel but one day the shower was only luke warm . And didn't get any better after running for a long time as the staff recommended we do. Not good enough for a otherwise fine hotel.
