I stayed in Marvel Hotel Bangkok in 2015. In all, it was a bit mixed experience. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the market, u can go anywhere very easily. Breakfast was not so good. It lacked Muslim food as well. I had to ate jam and toast only. Breakfast menu should be more improved. The service was very good and they did their best to help out with everything. The staff was friendly too. Room was good, interior was nice as well. But washroom was looking bit old. And the space of the room and washroom was so short. The pool was also not big. Overall i liked the hotel and would recommend it for a stay in Bangkok. But dont go for breakfast.

Great location . I think most of the guests are Indians and looks like it’s famous among Indians. Cleanliness is understandable then. Carpets had holes of cigarette poke and non smoking rooms smell of cigarette

Ambiance was very nice. In one of our room (1106) Washroom roof was leaking n cockroaches were there. Breakfast was not good..

Rooms are like 1960s, and are stinking. Swithichs are vintage so as bathtub. Staff was good but the food was bad

Horrible experience at this hotel. Got to hotel and it looked good from the outside but as soon as we got in the elevator I noticed how cramped the elevator was. When I got to my floor the carpets in the hallway were from when the hotel was first built. They were so dated I knew I was in for a shock when I enter the room. I got in the room and noticed the same type of old carpet with a gross smell. The room was very tiny with furniture that was falling apart. The bathroom was so disgusting that I barely used it. The taps and the shower head was not working properly plus the toilet and bathtub were so close that you can not move around in the bathroom without touching the walls. Absolutely terrible hotel!! Not sure how it is listed as a 4 star, more like a motel than a hotel!!

Good hotel but a very old hotel with minimal features like no proper TV and even the power points were not working but good and easy location in the city

This place is really bad. The hallway stinks of a weird smell. The room carpet also is pretty old and smells bad. The pictures show it to be a 3 star hotel, but there are analog switches and a 1980s TV. So you can imagine. If you have an option, never opt to stay here. It gives you a feeling that you are in some village and not in Bangkok

It is a 4 star hotel,so don't expect very much from it.A cozy room to sleep only.Rooms are clean and staffs are prompt for service.Buffet breakfast has almost same everyday.I booked 2 rooms and both rooms'wash basins were broken.I give 4 stars because it's location is very good and lively.An indian restaurant, Indian Host ,serves really tasty food is located outside of this hotel.

A good 3 star hotel. Simple bathroom, but good room. The breakfast buffets includes stuff who people from India, Korea, Chinea likes. That means a lot of rice-stuff with different no tasty vegetables for an north Europe. I like omelette, bacon, white beans in tomatoe sausage, yogurt, but FORGET to find that. The Wi-Fi are really, really slow. The sound level at breakfast are sometimes very high because of numbers of in same time eating groups of people from India, China, Korea. They have NO idea to wait on their turn when they take food.

Hotel is located at very strategic location however the entrance is inside a narrow lane close to main road. Skytrain (metro train) is easily accessible, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The lane in which the hotel is located features many local bars and massage parlours. An Indian restaurant is right next to the hotel which delivers the food to room too. Pool and gymnasium facility is good. However the room was a bit congested (I had booked superior room). Room services are very expensive, even a bottle of water from the room's minibar costs a lot more than what you can buy just outside the hotel. TV doesn't offer much of a choice in channels but that's same everywhere in Thailand.

No drinking water, buy your own water and there is no water boiler pot.They will not clean the room everyday. However, they have a strong air conditioner, Location is quite good, near Emsphere and very close to seven eleven. Many massage service around

This a nice small shop near the main road. I can't speak to the hostel section, but the food is simple and has great flavor. The coffee and Thai tea were ok, but the good is worth a try. I would recommend the chicken and rice or the small breakfast set. The lady that worked there was beyond sweet and friendly. 09/2023

We didn't stay in the hostel, have only experienced the cafe side but we love it! Fast WiFi, good food, good coffee! We enjoyed dinner and also breakfast at the cafe. Waffles with ice cream for my husband's dinner and I got the stir fried chicken with basil and fried egg - both were delicious. The Thai iced tea frappe was also nice - not super sweet. For breakfast, I got the American style breakfast and he got the waffles set. Mocha and iced latte were both really nice. Staff are very sweet. They also offer laundry services and we thought their prices were very reasonable and they were fast.

Really nice staff. Super clean rooms/bathrooms and great coffee in the café downstairs. Any complaints about not getting coffee with breakfast are just silly. You get free breakfast of eggs and toast and all of the proper barista coffees are half price in the morning so with the price of the room and free breakfast paying half price if you want a coffee aint much.
