Malaysia Hotel in Bangkok

Good location close to MRT Lumphini, restaurants and One Bangkok mall. Spacious tooms. Good aircon and ample water in the bathroom. Nice and friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel for three days and overall had a very pleasant experience.

The price was good, and the location is excellent — not too far from the metro station. There are many massage salons nearby. Most of them are traditional and more affordable places. I can’t comment on the quality, but there are plenty of options around.

There is a 7-Eleven close to the hotel, and you can easily find places to grab a quick meal nearby. The hotel itself also has a 24-hour restaurant. It’s not the cheapest one, but it seems very popular, as many people visit it. There is also a spa massage available inside the hotel.

The hotel doesn’t seem brand new — it feels like it has been operating for many years — but everything was clean, neat, and well maintained. It felt sterile and comfortable, and most importantly, there were no insects, which is a big plus.

The blackout curtains are thick and close well. However, some rooms can be a bit noisy. I asked to change my room to a quieter one, and the staff kindly accommodated my request. Still, in some areas it might be slightly noisy at night, so light sleepers may want to use earplugs.

The swimming pool is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a safe deposit box for valuables.

Overall, I am completely satisfied with my stay. I enjoyed it — everything was good and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel because it's close to the Austrian Embassy, which was convenient for my visa application. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are definitely outdated. However, the cleanliness was impeccable; there's really nothing to complain about in that regard.

Everything was good with my stay. The hotel is a bit old but still has its own style. Clean room, nice swimming pool, a restaurant open 24h, and convenient location in Bangkok, not far from the metro.

It's new year's eve. While other hotels in the area raised there prices like three times more, this hotel charged 500 baht more. Nice stay.

Just had a great start to my Thailand trip staying at the Malaysia Hotel. Very comfortable room with a nice view. Great restaurant downstairs thats very popular in the evenings. The staff were all very nice. And it was quiet there. MRT station only a short walk so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. My first time back there in 35+ years. Looking forward to returning,

I still can't get over this hotel name. As a Malaysian, I stayed opposite, and everyday, I would pass this hotel and wonder why I did not stay here. One day, I had to walk in to see the place to satisfy my curiosity. Maybe next time, I will consider the Malaysia Hotel...
