This is one of those "hidden gems" that you find sometimes. It's a lovely little hotel with super friendly staff, which is tucked away in a quiet location, despite being only metres from the craziness of the Silom/Patpong district. Be aware that it does not allow "visitors" (if that is your reason for going to Patpong).

Saladaeng Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to many of Silom’s main attractions and public transport options, including both the BTS and MRT stations. The area is vibrant, with plenty of street food and night markets just 10–15 minutes away on foot.

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, though it’s clear the hotel has aged. The air-conditioning was old and quite noisy, and I could still hear street noise from the 5th floor. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the bed was adequate for a short stay. There’s a TV in the room, but the remote control had no batteries. A medium-sized fridge is provided, but there’s no in-room coffee or kettle. However, coffee and snacks are conveniently available near the ground-floor elevator.

Staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile.

Overall: A basic, no-frills stay in a great location. Ideal for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize convenience over comfort.

We have really enjoyed our stay here, so much so that we have came back second time before flying home. The hotel has 24/7 reception and Mou has provided above and beyond service throughout our stay! Her helpful information about sightseeing, shopping and transportation helped us to discover the city with ease!
The location is excellent to get to public transportations, the rooms are clean with good air conditioning and they have soft pillows 👌😉!

I would totally stay here again and it’s mostly because of the fantastic location and wonderful staff. The hotel is right in between the BTS and MRT train stations so you get easy access to a lot of the Bangkok. There are also tons of restaurants and bars close by. The staff is so kind and helpful and checked on me when I was briefly under the weather, which was appreciated. I thought the rooms were slightly smaller than I expected but they were clean and well maintained. I’ll most likely be staying here again every time I stay in Bangkok. I’m a fan.

Overpriced hotel, certainly not a 3 star boutique. The Standard room doesn't deserve to be called room. Not suitable for 2 people. They are too stingy to even offer a small bar of soap. Only tiny bottle of shower gel and shampoo for 2 people (??). Breakfast very limited choice, no catering for food allergies possible. And then those stairs. Climing to the 5th floor in Bangkok weather in a smelly stairway is not pleasant. Only positive thing, the staff is friendly.

Wi-Fi ok, bed more comfortable than many other hotels in Thailand. Overall, not my kind of place. I think Hop Inn has spoiled me. HAHA

Nice guesthouse, with clean rooms, friendly staff, WiFi works well, bathroom, works well, no elevator, steep stairs. A good offer for the price

I love this place. Quite, very quite. Clean very clean. Good location near the BTS Saladaeng. The staff speak very good English. Simple breakfast but OK. Very familiar atmosphere. I love it. Is a four floor building. No elevator but the staff is very helphul with the suitcases. I recommend this place.

Location is A Plus! Cost and service pairs well. Small rooms for rest and comfortable beds and real nice hot water for shower, even here is not cold but is nice to add as a value.
