Chez Pom in Chiang Mai City

We loved our stay. The location is sooo convenient, right between Thapae Gate and the Night Bazaar, 7-11 right around the corner, multiple money exchanges nearby. We were able to walk so many places which was ideal because we did not rent a car or scooter. The apartment is tucked off of the main road, so it feels very safe and is VERY quiet. Efficient AC, good water pressure. Our host was so kind and gave us many great recommendations for the area and a small city map. (Only minor issues were some dirty tiles in the shower and mosquitoes in the sitting area downstairs due to the water feature. Also be aware you do need to climb stairs to get to the guest rooms.) If we are in the area again we will ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Thank you for everything Pom!

A delightful boutique hotel in the Old City that has a nice cozy ambience, spacious room and offers a truly delicious breakfast choice. But my wife and I were bowled over by the amazing staff.. always ready to help with recommendations for sightseeing or activities, calling restaurants for our dining reservations, and surprise birthday celebrations. Yes! Imagine walking in after a day out and Zen & Tar 'ambushed' my wife with a birthday song, good wishes and a specially ordered cake! We of course could never finish the cake on our own, so we had an impromptu party with other guests and staff :)

Location-wise, Chez Pom is unbeatable. It’s within walking distance of Chiang Mai’s best attractions, markets, and cafes, yet tucked away from the bustling noise, offering a serene and peaceful stay.

One of the highlights was the exceptional hospitality. Pom was an outstanding host—friendly, communicative, and always ready to assist. Whether it was giving local recommendations or ensuring my stay was seamless, Pom went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

Overall, Chez Pom is a gem in Chiang Mai. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Exceptional location and quality. Owner is an absolute perfectionist. He has taken care of every detail to make your stay quite comfortable!. No car is necessary even though parking is available. Near to the nightlife activity. We watched a Mauy Thai competition last night at the food/ bar court just down the street. All within walking distance. This place features plenty of space, dining room, laundry, courtyard, dishes, cooking equipment, and he even included food and drinks complimentary! I can't say enough about Chez Pom and how exceptional this place is. 😍
