The service was friendly, the location is great, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had some variety, which was a nice touch, especially since we stayed for 5 days! Every morning, a lovely lady would ask if I wanted mango and would even slice fresh mango for me.

**A word of caution:** Some guests mentioned the bathroom door is heavy, and it's true – you need to be careful not to injure yourself.

**Another tip:** The Sunday market is right at the alley entrance, which is incredibly convenient. However, if you arrive at the hotel on a Sunday evening, be aware that your vehicle might only be able to drop you off at Tha Phae Gate, about a 5-minute walk away. We experienced this when returning on our rented scooter; we couldn't get through and had to park in an adjacent alley and walk to the hotel.

Overall, everything else was very good.

I stayed for three days and was very satisfied. The meals changed daily, and the hotel is very close to Thapae Gate, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area.

My stay at the POR THAPE hotel was fabulous. The staff were extremely friendly, and tended to all of our needs. They always made sure we were comfortable, and happy. The breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of food. We also appreciated the free fresh fruits that are available 24/7. The swimming pool was also refreshing and the perfect solution to cool down on hot days. The location is perfectly situated in old town, making it ideal for sight seeing. Upon our next visit, we shall stay here again.

Excellent location (just 3 mins walk to the gate and 7-11) but the alley is quite narrow for the taxi to drive in. Sunday walking street is right in front of the hotel but it was difficult to find the way home because the alley entrance was sheltered by the tents
Swimming pool is to tiny but cute.

Wonderful stay at Por! The cat (Foo) was an added bonus. My partner and I looked forward to the breakfasts everyday, as they were some of the best we’ve had in Thailand. We felt like this hotel had excellent value for money and we had everything we needed - the location was ideal, pool was refreshing, staff were extremely kind and showers were strong. Rooms were clean and we appreciated how eco-conscious the space was (i.e. refillable water dispensers, compost bins). We would happily stay here again if/when we return to Chiang Mai! :)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was very clean and very near to Sunday night market (right outside the hotel). The breakfast was great as well. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Will definitely come back here to stay again!
