I stayed on the first floor facing the street. Constant motorcycle noise until after midnight. The window is tinted so very limited natural light comes in. Always a musty feel and I got bit by something on the bed several times (possibly bedbugs). I asked to change room but the guy at the counter said I have to pay more. Not a good place to stay, at all.
Before the owner replies, as he did to another reviewer saying no one with this name (Mikhail L) stayed at the hotel, let me mention that Mikhail is not my real name (yes, people use noms de guerre online, lol). But my experience at this hotel is more than real.

There is a lot to improve in this hotel, but the smell like someone may have died in here together with the lack of hygiene was shocking. I've been traveling the world both professionally and for leisure for over 25 years and this kind of disrespect for your guests I've not seen often before. Again, there's a lot to improve but please start with the smell.

Nice little hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai. Stayed here for a few nights whilst we did various activities around the city and jungle. Found the hotel to be really nice, the rooms were immaculatly clean and we're spacious with modern decor. The staff were really friendly, especially coco at reception who made our stay that bit better. The breakfast is a little basic, but it's free so can not complain. This place served us well as a base for Chiang Mai and is only a 10/15 minute taxi to the night bazaar. It is also only a 5 minute walk to two of the most beautiful temples in the area.

Overpriced and the WiFi is basically useless. It’s worked perhaps one third of the time we’ve been here over the past two days. Otherwise there’s no connection at all. Don’t use the internet? Might be the place for you! The room itself is good - large and clean with high ceilings. Nice bathroom with shower stall separated from toilet. Centrally located but (unlike a lot of places in the area) set away from major streets so you don’t have to choke on exhaust every time you leave the room. Still, it’s relatively expensive for what you get, and I won’t stay here again.

As pictured and as described. Nice little place. The front desk was friendly and helpful! Amazing location and walking distance to lots of places. Great for the money and the room was large. There was no safe in our room though.
