Victoria Nimman Hotel, Chiang Mai City1 / 24
8.5
Chiang Mai City, 108 Soi Nimmanhaemin 17 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is a decent place to stay for the price-point it is at, and the proximity to the airport is a plus. The neighborhood has decent dining options, as well. As for the room we got, it did look a bit dated, and the carpet wasn’t particularly clean; it would have been preferable to have a wood-panel floor. As for the bathroom, the sink design is odd, as it is difficult to turn off (one has to position...
Two beds or twin beds I ordered but their twin beds was very funny. Not real twin beds. How should I describe the situation.
The rooms are ok and spacious..but the toilets need some refurbishment
The hotel has an excellent location. It looks very posh from the outside. The rooms inside are quite simple but clean. They feature balconies. The air conditioning works well. The bed is firm, but within reasonable limits. The staff is friendly. A gecko in the room was quite strange for such a pretentious hotel.
The room was not really quiet, all night i can hear the next room talk very clear like we live in a same room
Close to Nimman, this hotel offers decent value for money and is clean and tidy. However, parking is a real headache if you're staying in the Old City. My advice? Rent a scooter. Once you've parked your car for the night, don't even think about moving it.

Great view of the river. Well situated near the center but not in the center.
This hotel is very conveniently located for tourist attractions. It's easy to get around from here, and there are no issues with transportation. Grabbing a Grab is simple, and there are plenty of food options nearby. It's very convenient for getting around.
Great location, very convenient! But the room was a bit stuffy.
Quite old rooms but still clean. Need to bring the toiletries as they don’t offer. Near the train station so convenient.
We had stayed here on our previous trip. The hotel is old with antique furniture, but it has all the basic amenities. The location is a short walking distance to the Kalarae Night Bazaar and the Hilal Street, where there are many halal eateries. There is a 150 years old Teak Mansion next to the hotel.
very old room. the lighting in the room is very dim for some room as room change was requested. bed is sunken and maybe alot of changes needed for the place but in compare to the price vs quality and location. the toilet have some upgrading done.that the best part. power socket need to be replace as there is some open electrical socket switches.

Chiang Mai City, 23 Huay Kaew Rd (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Hard to describe, definitely avoid this place. You get what you pay for, and this is a perfect example. There were huge cobwebs in the wardrobe and two broken hangers. Whatever you do, don't book the breakfast option; it's absolutely terrible. We were given a room at the very end of the hall, but the male staff members were all very nice.
i love the swimming pool!!!so beautiful and large. The location very close to one nimman. But the light in the room was not very bright.
The hotel is quite old. While the price was relatively cheap, I forgot to check its renovation date. It was supposed to include breakfast, and the front desk confirmed it, but when I went to the restaurant in the evening, they couldn't find my room number. I really dislike such awkward situations. Breakfast isn't worth much, and there are plenty of good places to eat outside, but if it's included,...
An excellent hotel in every aspect, from dining to the front desk to room service, and safety, including the hardware facilities. Everything was extremely satisfying.
Pros - good location in between Nimman and old city, walking distance to both - complete amenities in room and in hotel overall, aligned with 4 star hotels - since its an old building, everything is big - room, lobby etc Cons - design is stuck in the 70s, not in a good way - parking is quite limited
Great location but a little aged but still the location is won it and it almost close to the oldtown, the namia one and airport as well.

It’s ok for the price. Good location.
Good place to stay staff is warm and welcoming and place clean
Love the environment and the receptionist was great and helpful
Good location to the center of Chiangmai, Even, it is quite old and some wood-old smell. Good budget hotel.
The receptionist is very helpful and friendly to help me in getting contact with Thailand Travel Taxi. As I faced big trouble with 12GO. They didn't arrangement for my transportation frim the hotel to Chiamg Rai Airport. I was in the rush to be there for my next flight to Singapore. But thanks the guy tt waa on duty on 2nd Jan at noon time. 🙏🏼🙏🏻🙏😁❤️
The room is spacious. Very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for solo travelers and family. The location is also great, many eateries nearby and close to railway station. Would stay here again next time.

Garden, cafe and pool area all absolutely excellent, very relaxing after a long haul flight, bedroom clean and comfortable. Restricted food options due to private function in evening was only disappointment. Enjoyable stay, thank you.
Hotel also used by groups, so standard is good and it's rather cheap. We had a corner suite which was quite large, but a little bit old fashioned. Breakfast is good. The pool and garden are quite nice. A 10-15 min. Walk to the Maya mall and nimman area.
Tucked in away from the chaos around the Maya Mall but within walking distance. Lovely landscaped grounds with beautiful pool. Be aware of the hotels in this area are all over a flight path so you will definitely hear lots of airplane noise. Rooms are either around the 3 story building arranged around the pool but no elevator. Otherwise there's a tower building. I stayed in the tower building...
I want to say a big thank you to Holiday Garden Resort! I accidentally left my earphones under the pillow after checking out. They’re really small, so I didn’t think I’d ever get them back. But when I called the next day, the staff were super helpful and actually found them for me! Such honest, caring, and professional service — I’m really impressed. Highly recommended!
Great pool and garden area. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Beautiful spaces. I appreciated their attempts to be environmental (no plastic bottles). They don't have laundry by the kilo, only individual shirts being pressed. So that was really annoying for us, our dirty laundry piled up and we had to go through a lot of inconvenience to get cleaned.

Chiang Mai City, 183 Chanpuak Road, Sri Poom (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
A slightly old hotel with services that are suitable for the Accor group. Fast check-in, spacious room, many breakfast options, clean swimming pool. Bathroom with enough hot water, cold air conditioner. The disadvantage is that the location is a bit far from everywhere. Breakfast has many choices and the taste is quite good
The room was quite old, and the curtains were so worn that they could not block out the light properly. At night, light was still coming through, making it difficult to sleep.
Excellent location: It's only a 180 baht taxi ride from Chiang Mai Airport and about a ten-minute walk to the Old City. There's a supermarket just to the right when you exit, and a fresh market about 150 meters straight ahead to the left, which is great for buying fruit. Room and Dining: The bed is spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast is very average with nothing remarkable. Service...
The hotel has a good location, right next to a show venue. It's a large hotel with a swimming pool, and the rooms and beds are spacious. The decor is a bit dated, so the facilities are showing their age a little. Breakfast was very good.
Water leaked from the ceiling and they don’t fix it. They said the towel was stained and charged 500 Thai Bhats (approx. USD 16) for a piece of towel that looked like it’s been in service for half a century. I have no issue paying a fair value of a towel for staining it. In this case, the fair value is clearly less than a dollar and they charged USD 16. It’s been nearly 2 months and I just felt...

The hotel is abit old but the atmosphere is rlly good . The rooms are clean and the front desk is 24 hr available and very helpful and friendly.
This hotel is located in the old city, making it convenient to get around and visit attractions, especially the weekend and Saturday night markets. The breakfast is also decent. The downsides are that the window faces another building which is very close, and the lobby is on the second floor. Huge, spacious hotel with good atmosphere. A small gym beside pool. Close to lots of food and coffee shops. Peaceful
This hotel offers great value for money. The breakfast is decent, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent, right next to the old town, making it convenient to get anywhere. There's also a small pool, perfect for a swim if you visit in the summer.
Reception staffs are very helpful and accommodating to our request. Very helpful to give us informations whenever we want to visit.Breakfast was simple and good. The chef's are helpful.Overall we have a pleasant stay, despite the hotel is a bit old
Great value for money! This hotel has a pool and a restaurant, and it's right in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. It's super close to famous attractions like Tha Phae Gate and Wat Phra Singh, just a 10-15 minute walk. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. Smelt like cheese lady wouldn't let me keep the door open to air it out also have to pay for air conditioning which I think is cheap minded
Easy to get food and restaurants Hotel is located near attractions
If you want a room with good price located inside old town then you should consider this place. However there are some pro and con for your information. Pro: reasonable price. Great location. Friendly staffs swimming pool. Con: room should be a bit more clean than that. AC was really loud.
Very nice mixed dormitory with complete facilities and good price.
Dorm room can be improved. My bed was stiff. Our bunker gets noisy with slight movement. Air-conditioning is fixed to one side. But the staff are friendly and there's swimming pool.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from One Nimman and very close to Maya Mall! The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked great. A very Basic hotel with only one lift at mezzanine floor, so rather inconvenient (they do help carry up the luggage. Room sound proofing is poor, can hear clearly conversation along corridor . However, the hotel is surrounded with many cafes, eateries, traditional massage, and shops.
Good price Good location. Not too far walking distances to shopping streets, restaurants , convenience stores.

The hotel is not very big, but the service is decent. The breakfast is extremely basic and definitely needs improvement. The biggest plus is the excellent location.
The hotel is really very strategically located, just opposite Tha Pae gate and there are festive activities going on. As the view facing the main road is blocked by a row of shophouse you dont get get any view but also less traffic noise. Traffic is really heavy in front of the hotel. Located opposite Tha Phae Gate, very convenient for visiting the Sunday Night Market and Tha Phae Gate. The room is okay overall, nothing too fancy. The staff also provided good service.
We stayed here for two nights and seriously contemplated switching to a different hotel the second night. The noise is so bad in this hotel, everything echoes throughout from the reception and dining area, people stay up there talking, laughing and drinking which is fine however the tile and concrete walls make everything echo and then the kitchen staff are up setting up for breakfast at 5:30am. ...
good locstion easy to go any place

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a small balcony. The bathroom is also large and comes with a bathtub. It’s located near the Chiang Mai Railway Station, making it a perfect place to stay if you have a train to catch. The only drawback is that it’s about 3 km from the Old City, but it’s a great budget stay if you can manage the distance
Clean and spacious place with no excessive amenities.
Amazing for the price. Located within walking distance of the train station. Nice clean pool, comfy bed, friendly staff.
Smile price, large room, parking lots, old fashion but clean and comfortable
The room was quite spacious and quiet, and the hotel's price was good, as was the front desk service. The only major issue was that the sheets, pillows, and duvet covers were old and dirty. I ended up sleeping with my clothes on.
Overall this location was what I paid for. It is far outside the old city so you will need to rent a motorbikes

Very cosy little hotel hidden in the centre of the city. Very nice ambience and decorated hotel. Staff are friendly.
Parking was a bit limited, but overall it was good. There were nice spots for photos, and my girlfriend liked it.
Visited during Christmas season, so the exterior was really charming! ✨✨ The room was also lovely; the bath towels were arranged cutely, and they even provided cookies.
Very nice hotel, good amenities in a good location nice and quiet for them early nights. Lovely surprise when we checked in. Thank you
The location and environment is nice. I would like to take away the sandals they provided upon my departure, the hotel staff told me that they need to charge. I never experience this before and I opt to return them finally. That’s one of the bad experience I had in this stay.
Rooms: pretty small but decent enough. We’d booked a junior suite and the one we got given was much smaller than we’d booked online. They moved us the next day once one became available, which was definitely better. Service: staff are sweet and accommodating. English spoken is very little, but I’m in Thailand and I’m an ignorant monolingual Brit. Can’t score them down for that. A few personal suggestions...

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It's right next to a night market with lots of great food options.
Good staff and hospitality. We stayed one night. Car parking is also big. recommended for family trip.
The location is great, very close to 7-11 and Big C. Although we didn't have time to explore, we just needed it for a layover the night before our flight. The problem was I'm not sure if it was the orientation, but it was very hot. Even with the AC on, I didn't sleep well all night. As for the facilities, the mattress didn't feel very comfortable. But considering the price, we thought it was acceptable

The breakfast is very poor and monotonous. Only toast, one type of salami, juice, fruit, one way of preparing eggs, which are served in a cold dish. During the last visit they at least arranged sun loungers by the pool.
Great location, but the facilities are really outdated. The showerhead sprayed water everywhere. It felt like a hotel from the 90s! The staff were very friendly, but this place definitely needs a renovation.
The shower was nasty and had showercurtins. The bathroom was stinky. But the room was big.

Very good sevices and clean hotel
It was alright. The service here is pretty good, but the main draw is the price – it's not too expensive, not too cheap, just right. If others agree it's decent, then I'd recommend checking it out.
The front desk service during check-in was absolutely terrible! The woman at the counter acted as if I owed her money. Once I got to the room, though, the environment and facilities were pretty good, and the room itself was very spacious, which was a plus. The only real issue was the shower water – it was incredibly unstable. No hot water, just fluctuating between hot and cold. I nearly froze to death...
The room is spacious and pretty good. Great value for money and the environment is nice.
The service was terrible. They didn't even clean the room on the second day. The front desk staff were unfriendly, and they demanded a 1000 THB deposit, whereas other hotels only ask for 300 THB. It felt very unwelcoming towards Chinese guests. There were no bedside tables, and in both rooms we stayed in, the water temperature in the bathroom kept fluctuating between hot and cold, which could easily...
The hotel environment is great. It's about 2km from the Old City, and easily accessible by songthaew or tuk-tuk. The pool doesn't get much sun, so the water felt quite cold. For this price, a hotel with a swimming pool is quite a surprise! The facilities are probably on par with a Hanting Inn from about 10 years ago, but given how cheap it is and how convenient it is for an early train, I really can't complain.
This hotel, located right next to the train station, truly hit the perfect spot for me. I booked it because I had an early 6 AM train to catch. Decent budget hotel in a great location close to the Old Town, with a pool and newly renovated rooms on the 4th floor. For only 40 US$ in peak Christmas season a VERY good value for money.
Right near Chiang Mai gate, the hotel is central to everything. The staff are the friendliest and most responsive of any hotel I’ve stayed at yet on my travels. Beds are comfortable and any issue was fixed with great efficiency. Breakfast was tasty too. Great value for money.

This is a good, basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, which is what matters most. The room was simple and functional.
