Chiang Mai City, 108 Chang Klan Road (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was clean and quiet, and the location was convenient.
The hotel gym is on the fourth floor and is fully equipped. The free weight area and the machines are in two separate spaces, and there's even a fantastic ab machine! It's a dream come true for fitness enthusiasts! They also provide free bananas for a quick carb boost.
The Chiang Mai Marriott is located outside the Old City, but the location is still quite good. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tha Phae Gate and Warorot Market, and about 15 minutes to Chiang Mai Gate. The hotel is right above the Chang Khlan Road night market, which has tons of street food every night. Getting around is super convenient, whether you take a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing service.
The basic...
The hotel's location is super convenient, close to everything with plenty of bars, convenience stores, and street food stalls nearby. The room facilities and cleanliness were also good. However, it's definitely not cheap; even during the off-season, it was still over 1000 per night.
The hotel's location is great, the surroundings are lively, and it's within walking distance of the old city. There are various restaurants, massage parlors, and a night market nearby. The hotel breakfast is also good with a wide variety of options.
Came to Chiang Mai for New Year's Eve and, by chance, booked this place. The location is excellent, right above the night bazaar, making it super convenient for food, entertainment, and massages.

Chiang Mai City, 44 Nimmanhaemin Road, Soi 12 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent service and very clean facility. Good breakfast too.
The hotel's located near Nimmanhaemin Road so it's close to many eateries and touristy spots. But it's not so close that it's right smack in the middle of it like Eastin, so you'll be able to enjoy some peace and quiet.
My room was located in I'm guessing an extension block they built so it's not exactly in the main building of the property and it's a bit of a walk. They also shut off the lifts after...

Very Good view and nice area nice environment!!!! Like it so muccchhhhh….
The hotel is dater ...in a nice way. The staff were wonderful ..always smiling and pleasant as well as helpful when asked for anything.
No 'western' TV Channels like SKY or BBC (French and German I know...but...)...or Channel News Asia....on in-room television. Couldn't find any English Football
Channels either.
Truly Heartwarming Service!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — the service was amazing from start to finish. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. When I returned from a tourist site and realized I didn’t have any cash to pay the bike driver, the lovely lady at the reception immediately offered to help and even paid the fare from her own money so I wouldn’t be stuck. It was a small...

The room was very clean and quiet, and they had delicious dried mangoes. The pool has a huge water slide. The lady at the front desk spoke some Chinese, which made communication very easy.
Very nice stay at Shangri-la Chang Mai for 12 days. The location to many tourist attractions and restaurants is ideal, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite small and on the basic side but was kept very clean by housekeeping. I loved the water pressure from the shower, hot in a few seconds and very powerful. Breakfast was good, several new dishes each day and numerous international...
Book the premier king room for our honeymoon in Chiang mai. Very good services from all the staff. Location is very good where night markets are just walking distance. Room is huge and clean. Lobby is big and look majestic. It’s just a little pity that the furnitures looks old and towels looks very well used. I had a towel that had a hole . Overall it’s still a very nice hotel. I would stay here again...
I always love staying at Shangri-La hotels wherever I go; it's probably a sentimental attachment, a preference! The antique-style lobby creates such an immersive atmosphere, and the wide variety of delicious food makes me feel right at home! All in all, I just love it!
This hotel must be one of the largest in downtown Chiang Mai. It's a 10-minute walk from Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, surrounded by many restaurants and shops, making it incredibly convenient. The airport is just a 10-15 minute drive away. The hotel offers plenty of family-friendly activities, and the pool is large, ranging from shallow to deep, with spray fountains. Chiang Mai City, 46, 48 Charoen Prathet Rd, Chang Khlan Sub-district, Chang Moi 50100, Tailand (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
New, modern and beautifully designed hotel. Breakfast was delicious with good variety.
Minor downsides: small elevators (only two), relatively small pool, and soundproofing could be improved.
Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.
The rooms were comfortable, and my kids absolutely loved the pool – they didn't want to leave after three days! The best part, though, was the kids' club. As a solo parent traveling with children, it was a lifesaver, allowing me to go shopping and relax. It was truly ideal. The kids even said they want to stay here again next time we're in Chiang Mai.
This hotel is a must-stay if you're traveling with kids. We arrived at 11 AM, and they kindly let us check in early. They even prepared an adorable elephant welcome, which was a lovely touch and made us feel so valued! The kids' play area is huge!
We had an amazing stay! The environment and facilities were excellent, especially the kids’ play area and swimming pool—our child had so much fun.
Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
Truly grateful for the wonderful experience. We look forward to coming back again!
I was worried it would be cramped for three people, but it turned out to be spacious enough for four! The sofa is huge, easily big enough for two to sleep on, and there's also a large square chaise lounge. Kicking back and watching TV with a drink was just incredibly comfortable.
The hotel is a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 15-minute walk to the Old City, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I stayed in a corner flat for a week, and the room was very spacious. Housekeeping was excellent, keeping it spotless every day. The 21st-floor lounge was quiet and offered great service – a good alternative for breakfast if the main dining area on the first floor is...

Good value for money, but the service was terrible. There were a bunch of people at the front desk, but no one was doing anything and they all had sour faces.
The hotel is very modern a lot of car park rooms is spacious breakfast is good will come back again
Nice staffs, good location.
On check out we forgot Ipad in room but staffs call me and keep it. Thank you very much.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Convenient for shopping, right on Nimman Road. No airplane noise at night, so I could finally get some sleep.
Facilities: Quite new, and breakfast was abundant.
This hotel was fantastic and provides all you need as a tourist here in Chiang Mai. The room was spacious and the pillows/beds were all super comfortable. The breakfast was also great, very sumptuous.
A negative side about the hotel is the pool, which were all very shallow and small and suitable only for kids. There were virtually no adult using the pool.
A downside about its location is that it...

Everyone is friendly!
It's convenient living in this hotel
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to One Nimman, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and massages! The room size is generous, and the service is top-notch. A special shout-out to Nam, who was incredibly warm and welcoming! The gym and pool facilities are also more than adequate.
Location is the best thing of this hotel. It is right smacked in the heart of the tourist area with many cafe, Michelin restaurants, shopping and Spa.
The only this that upset me about this stay is that the hotel which is supposed to be good for their 24hrs use room (check-out within 24hrs of your check in time) but i was advised that i can only check into my room at 7pm as the previous will only check...
The overall hygiene was good, but they don't provide slippers or toothbrushes. Luckily, I came prepared, otherwise, it would have been quite inconvenient. The room was on the third floor facing the street, so it was noisy, but they had earplugs in the room, which helped on the second night.
Great location, rooms are nice and large. A bit pricey though. Low score for value.
This hotel is in the absolute best location! Nimman One is right downstairs, and there's a night market right below too. Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center is just across the street, and Chiang Mai University is within walking distance. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Chiang Mai for the first time!

This was a great stay for a family with little kids. Breakfast had a lot of variety but wasn't anything special - basic buffet style. I wish there were more Thai options.
Hotel is a little old and dated. Room size is big but modern comfort is missing: no bedside plugs for phone charging. No coffee machines. Taps and showers are old and slightly rusted. Breakfast choice was also limited. And worst was the parking! Love that it’s at the heart of Nimman and well known cafes and Michelin Guide restaurants are within walking distance. Very unique design and deco with arts and local culture. Excellent location. All the major attractions are within a short walking distance. We had a great stay.
Exceeded my expectations! Great location, and I even got a suite upgrade. The staff were all super welcoming. It's truly the most authentically local hotel. Five-star experience!
I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my visit. The food was delicious and offered a great variety. breakfast is okay. it does the job for the price you pay. didn't really use the facilities as we are out most of the time. Appreciate the 1 bedroom hotel room provided and a kitchen.

Stay longer, save more! 3 nights for the price of 2 at Thantara Resort’s Pool Villa. Book 3, pay 2! Enjoy a private Pool Villa stay at Thantara Resort Chiang Mai. A Haven of Serenity. 5-Star! Idyllisch
The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with a small swimming pool. The natural ecology in the park is well maintained, with the sounds of insects and birds everywhere, making it especially suitable for parent-child accommodation and travel. There are not many choices for breakfast, which does not meet expectations

We also ate there at lunch and the food was delicious. The...
We had a great stay at the hotel. Room was very spacious and well decorated. Staff were great and so was the breakfast.
Our 3-night stay at The Chiangmai Riverside Hotel was a truly memorable experience.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite (Vorra Kamol) which is nicely decorated and fully equipped. Staff were very attentive to all our requests. Breakfast was very good with variety of menu. The location is also great, only 10 minutes drive to airport and to city centre. Will definitely come back.
