The rooms were comfortable, and my kids absolutely loved the pool – they didn't want to leave after three days! The best part, though, was the kids' club. As a solo parent traveling with children, it was a lifesaver, allowing me to go shopping and relax. It was truly ideal. The kids even said they want to stay here again next time we're in Chiang Mai.

Right before check-in, they offered us an upgrade. The room was originally 5000 THB a night, but we offered 3000 THB and they agreed, so it seems there's room to negotiate. The suite isn't separated into different rooms, it's one large open space. It's a lot bigger, but it doesn't feel as good as having separate areas.

Our 3-night stay at The Chiangmai Riverside Hotel was a truly memorable experience. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite (Vorra Kamol) which is nicely decorated and fully equipped. Staff were very attentive to all our requests. Breakfast was very good with variety of menu. The location is also great, only 10 minutes drive to airport and to city centre. Will definitely come back.
