Victoria Nimman Hotel, Chiang Mai City1 / 30
8.5
Chiang Mai City, 108 Soi Nimmanhaemin 17 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is a decent place to stay for the price-point it is at, and the proximity to the airport is a plus. The neighborhood has decent dining options, as well. As for the room we got, it did look a bit dated, and the carpet wasn’t particularly clean; it would have been preferable to have a wood-panel floor. As for the bathroom, the sink design is odd, as it is difficult to turn off (one has to position...
Two beds or twin beds I ordered but their twin beds was very funny. Not real twin beds. How should I describe the situation.
The rooms are ok and spacious..but the toilets need some refurbishment
The hotel has an excellent location. It looks very posh from the outside. The rooms inside are quite simple but clean. They feature balconies. The air conditioning works well. The bed is firm, but within reasonable limits. The staff is friendly. A gecko in the room was quite strange for such a pretentious hotel.
The room was not really quiet, all night i can hear the next room talk very clear like we live in a same room
Close to Nimman, this hotel offers decent value for money and is clean and tidy. However, parking is a real headache if you're staying in the Old City. My advice? Rent a scooter. Once you've parked your car for the night, don't even think about moving it.

Excellent service and very clean facility. Good breakfast too.
The hotel's located near Nimmanhaemin Road so it's close to many eateries and touristy spots. But it's not so close that it's right smack in the middle of it like Eastin, so you'll be able to enjoy some peace and quiet. My room was located in I'm guessing an extension block they built so it's not exactly in the main building of the property and it's a bit of a walk. They also shut off the lifts after...

The hotel is dater ...in a nice way. The staff were wonderful ..always smiling and pleasant as well as helpful when asked for anything. No 'western' TV Channels like SKY or BBC (French and German I know...but...)...or Channel News Asia....on in-room television. Couldn't find any English Football Channels either.
Truly Heartwarming Service! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — the service was amazing from start to finish. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. When I returned from a tourist site and realized I didn’t have any cash to pay the bike driver, the lovely lady at the reception immediately offered to help and even paid the fare from her own money so I wouldn’t be stuck. It was a small...

The room was very clean and quiet, and they had delicious dried mangoes. The pool has a huge water slide. The lady at the front desk spoke some Chinese, which made communication very easy.
Very nice stay at Shangri-la Chang Mai for 12 days. The location to many tourist attractions and restaurants is ideal, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite small and on the basic side but was kept very clean by housekeeping. I loved the water pressure from the shower, hot in a few seconds and very powerful. Breakfast was good, several new dishes each day and numerous international...
Book the premier king room for our honeymoon in Chiang mai. Very good services from all the staff. Location is very good where night markets are just walking distance. Room is huge and clean. Lobby is big and look majestic. It’s just a little pity that the furnitures looks old and towels looks very well used. I had a towel that had a hole . Overall it’s still a very nice hotel. I would stay here again...
I always love staying at Shangri-La hotels wherever I go; it's probably a sentimental attachment, a preference! The antique-style lobby creates such an immersive atmosphere, and the wide variety of delicious food makes me feel right at home! All in all, I just love it!
This hotel must be one of the largest in downtown Chiang Mai. It's a 10-minute walk from Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, surrounded by many restaurants and shops, making it incredibly convenient. The airport is just a 10-15 minute drive away. The hotel offers plenty of family-friendly activities, and the pool is large, ranging from shallow to deep, with spray fountains. Breakfast is very extensive with a...

It was a great experience to stay in chiang mai ibis style hotel all of the people are polite
Room looked a bit old, bathroom had bad smell. Staff is nice and breakfast good.
Big room. Service is great. Location is a bit far from Nimman but can go there by Grab. Cool A/C. Worth a come back when visit CNX!
Convenient location and helpful service staff , highly recommended
I wasn't blown away with this hotel. I ended up paying big money for what it was (New year to be fair) In addition, a further 600 baht a night for another bed despite the room saying it would sleep 4. Location 10 minutes precarious walk to Maya Shopping area
The room was very spacious and generally clean. Soundproofing was just okay, as I could hear airport noises. There were also small bars nearby, so I could hear singing. If you're particular about sound insulation, this might not be the best choice. There were plenty of dining options downstairs and no shortage of convenience stores. Overall, it offered great value for money.

This hotel was surprisingly good! I only booked it because my first choices were unavailable, but it turned out to be excellent. First off, the location is unbeatable. It's directly across from Maya Mall, with a Japanese street right downstairs, and only a five-minute walk to One Nimman. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places nearby. The front desk staff were helpful and spoke...
Nice surrounding Easy to hangout Great view
Overall a very good stay. The service was excellent and the suite room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is a real highlight. It is central, convenient, and ideal for getting around Chiang Mai. A couple of downsides. The pool was quite cold, and the sauna was not operating during my stay. I did not try the breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Due to the central location...
The location of the hotel is excellent, just next to MAYA and One Nimman. Despite our room is facing the nightlife and main road, the noises are bearable and activities end by midnight. Some fixtures required upgrades and maintenance. Great service by the friendly staff. Our requests were attended promptly.
Very Central with shopping centres beside the hotel.lots of street food surrounded the hotel..
Everything is fine except ants are going around on the table and chair.

It’s a nice hotel with helpful and kind staff. Location is good. Not too far from Chiang Mai city centre
Hotel is very nice, large and clean. Convenience location, closes to the market. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again.

breakfast is okay. it does the job for the price you pay. didn't really use the facilities as we are out most of the time. Appreciate the 1 bedroom hotel room provided and a kitchen.
Hygiene: The bed linens were changed every other day, but they always had stains. What was most unbearable was the smell from the toilet; as long as the bathroom door was closed for a while, it would smell really bad, even with the fan on. WiFi speed was slow. Beautifull room, nice services and really Thanks you for your hospitality! Recommanded!
Really nice place and good service Fair price by online booking
All is ok except for the breakfast which was sent to our room. We took the 8 O clock part. They mentioned it will be send to our room. When I woke up at 8.15, it's already in our room, but I hear no sound of bell for them to knock on my door. They should at least knock and not do it this way.
This is the worst hotel service I've ever experienced. A family of three stayed for seven days, and only on the sixth day were they informed that they needed to pay an additional fee. Visited during Christmas season, so the exterior was really charming! ✨✨ The room was also lovely; the bath towels were arranged cutely, and they even provided cookies.
Very nice hotel, good amenities in a good location nice and quiet for them early nights. Lovely surprise when we checked in. Thank you
The location and environment is nice. I would like to take away the sandals they provided upon my departure, the hotel staff told me that they need to charge. I never experience this before and I opt to return them finally. That’s one of the bad experience I had in this stay.
Rooms: pretty small but decent enough. We’d booked a junior suite and the one we got given was much smaller than we’d booked online. They moved us the next day once one became available, which was definitely better. Service: staff are sweet and accommodating. The room was nice and spacious, with a kitchen area. The hotel offers a fitness center, a large swimming pool for adults and children, various food options, and a large parking area.
Pros: friendly staff, great view, and delicious breakfast. Room was great other than the bathroom. The whole bathroom was covered in mold :(. The pool looks pretty but has a bird problem. Saw multiple birds using it as a bathroom. Gym has good equipment but smells moldy.

The hotel is beautiful, but the facilities are terrible. It's really poor value for money. A room costing over 2,000 RMB with these kinds of amenities is just ridiculous!
An absolutely fantastic resort in Chiang Mai! Besides the swimming pool, they also have a library with tons of books and beverages. It's wonderful.
Highly recommended! Lovely stay and time really stand still when you stay here, it's so peaceful and quiet that I can do my yoga and meditation all day long. The staff were wonderful and helpful, breakfast was more than enough for us. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
Great city escape to the well furnished and designed hotel. Bed is super comfyyy and room is very nice.
Located in the quiet backstreet even in the middle of old town square. The architecture is traditional local villa style, nice layout in the backyard with tropical greens, the atmosphere is simply decorated with good old days crafts. Local staff are sincere and empathetic which is Thai people’s excellent quality. A perfect hideaway for a relaxing break while experiencing the culture of Chiang Mai
It’s super nice boutique hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Superb breakfast. You can get true quality time for resting and relaxing. One thing to complain is that their service people has limited English capability. Sometimes they don’t get what you request for them.

For this price, a hotel with a swimming pool is quite a surprise! The facilities are probably on par with a Hanting Inn from about 10 years ago, but given how cheap it is and how convenient it is for an early train, I really can't complain.
This hotel, located right next to the train station, truly hit the perfect spot for me. I booked it because I had an early 6 AM train to catch. Overall, I liked it because the room was large and beautiful, and the service was excellent, but that's typical of Thais. The location is obviously a bit far from the city, but that doesn't matter because we already knew that. The tranquility is out of this world, though.
