Reception accepted it and even upgraded me to a better room on the 22nd Floor. The room was clean, very comfortable and spacious. The pool was great and so was the sauna
The room was spacious and very quiet. Great blackout curtains too meant a really good night's sleep for me. Housekeeping was efficient and very friendly, and the room was always cleaned even if I returned mid afternoon
First let me say the location is unbeatable. I was pleasantly surprised to receive good service. My friend booked a room for me (under his name) but sent an email informing them I would be the person to check-in
This hotel has activities every morning at 9 a. They offer sessions like yoga, Zumba, or aerobic dance, and you can join anytime. They have very good instructors who will guide you through the classes
They also offer a 30% discount for massage services, so you should definitely take advantage of it. The only downside is that they don’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so you need to bring your own
A very comfortable old hotel close to the main Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. At check in you had to leave a 2000 baht deposit. Tip- make sure you take care of the receipt as you will need it on leaving

Once was enough for me as I have no desire to become a fat bastard in the manner in which so many around these parts are, especially the regulars of the international buffet at the Holiday Inn Hotel
Loved it here overall, some slight issues with an annoying [perhaps resident] person who thinks we want to hear his 'personal' prayers at 5am [and beyond] but staff are very accommodating and understanding
The breakfast is standout, 10/10 a true standard bearer, even more amazing given the hotel size. Restaurant available for late night eating and fab cocktails
Pros: Riverside location, some rooms offer river and Doi Suthep views; spacious and clean rooms; diverse breakfast options including Chinese, Western, and Thai cuisine; friendly staff, able to communicate in Chinese, free luggage storage; convenient transportation, affordable taxi rides to night markets/Old City
Overall, suitable for travelers who value views and have a moderate budget; recommend booking a river view room in advance and avoiding rooms facing the street or utility rooms for a better experience
Excellent hotel,a little dated but very clean
Staff excellent
Breakfast fine except no bacon????
Only problem I struck, had a few issues and maintenance never arrived either a lack of communication or no staff

The free weight area and the machines are in two separate spaces, and there's even a fantastic ab machine! It's a dream come true for fitness enthusiasts! They also provide free bananas for a quick carb boost
The Chiang Mai Marriott is located outside the Old City, but the location is still quite good. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tha Phae Gate and Warorot Market, and about 15 minutes to Chiang Mai Gate
The hotel is right above the Chang Khlan Road night market, which has tons of street food every night. Getting around is super convenient, whether you take a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing service
All the staff, from management down, provide excellent service, and many of them can speak basic Chinese. I would definitely choose to stay here again
The basic room size isn't small, and it definitely meets five-star hotel standards. It's not humid at all and very comfortable
The hotel's location is super convenient, close to everything with plenty of bars, convenience stores, and street food stalls nearby. The room facilities and cleanliness were also good

They also shut off the lifts after a certain time so you gotta know exactly which lift to go to in order to get up to your floor. Breakfast buffet is decent with JP and KR options
always smiling and pleasant as well as helpful when asked for anything. No 'western' TV Channels like SKY or BBC (French and German I know. Couldn't find any English Football
Channels either
My room was located in I'm guessing an extension block they built so it's not exactly in the main building of the property and it's a bit of a walk
The executive lounge could use more power outlets to enable biz travellers to work better
Very Good view and nice area nice environment!!!! Like it so muccchhhhh….
Truly Heartwarming Service!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — the service was amazing from start to finish. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff

While the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness is surprisingly good, better than many older hotels. The rooftop buffet is no longer available, but the pool is still open and a decent size
Spacious hotel and rooms, clean, super comfortable. Sadly rooftop is currently in state of half ruin but swimming pool was operating fine. Gym older but machines working well. Really tasty breakfast buffet
The room was really spacious and the location was great. It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but that didn't bother me at all
It was excellent value for money! We were out and about every day, so for a place just to wash up and sleep, it was perfectly sufficient
The hotel entrance area is very quiet, surrounded by a purely residential neighborhood with no noisy businesses or dodgy people around
The hallways have a strong smell from what I guess is cigarette smoke over the years. The pool on top is beautiful, and the restaurants look nice, though I haven't eaten there yet

It’s just a little pity that the furnitures looks old and towels looks very well used. I had a towel that had a hole. Overall it’s still a very nice hotel. I would stay here again if I’m back in Chiang mai
The room was very clean and quiet, and they had delicious dried mangoes. The pool has a huge water slide. The lady at the front desk spoke some Chinese, which made communication very easy.
Breakfast was good, several new dishes each day and numerous international options. Perhaps there are other options that are better value for the money but overall we were very satisfied with our stay there
Book the premier king room for our honeymoon in Chiang mai. Very good services from all the staff. Location is very good where night markets are just walking distance. Lobby is big and look majestic
Our room was quite small and on the basic side but was kept very clean by housekeeping. I loved the water pressure from the shower, hot in a few seconds and very powerful
Very nice stay at Shangri-la Chang Mai for 12 days. The location to many tourist attractions and restaurants is ideal, staff were very friendly and accommodating

New, modern and beautifully designed hotel. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Minor downsides: small elevators (only two), relatively small pool, and soundproofing could be improved
We had an amazing stay! The environment and facilities were excellent, especially the kids’ play area and swimming pool—our child had so much fun. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety
The rooms were comfortable, and my kids absolutely loved the pool – they didn't want to leave after three days! The best part, though, was the kids' club
As a solo parent traveling with children, it was a lifesaver, allowing me to go shopping and relax. The kids even said they want to stay here again next time we're in Chiang Mai
They even prepared an adorable elephant welcome, which was a lovely touch and made us feel so valued! The kids' play area is huge!
This hotel is a must-stay if you're traveling with kids. We arrived at 11 AM, and they kindly let us check in early

Nice hotel, very clean and tidy. Great staff that are happy, polite and friendly. Facilities are very good, rooms are the same and have all you need. Laundry service available, or use the one at the bottom of the road
You can tell that the hotel is old but it is very clean and it was a great place to stay. The rooms are very large and we received a welcome basket of snacks when we arrived
ATM machine in front of the hotel to the left, down the steps into the car park. Short walk right at the bottom of the road to the night market
Other than the fact that they are still using room keys and thus limit you to one key per room and not using the key card technology, the hotel is pretty good and the location is excellent
The rooms are pretty big and so are the washrooms
It's a very old hotel that needs some update! Rooms are nice, though and service is good. Food is awful, only breakfast was good. It is located in a normal place, nothing fancy.

Very nice and convenient location next to all the action in Chiang Mai. Nice pool and gym. Would stay again
I have booked this hotel multiple times for my mum and my mum truly enjoys every stay here. The staff are consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which makes a big difference to her experience
She would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mövenpick Chiang Mai for their dedication and effort in maintaining such a high service standard
She was especially delighted by the festive touch, with Santa Claus distributing chocolates to guests, which added a lovely and thoughtful atmosphere to the stay
My mum also commented that Mövenpick stands out compared to Dusit Princess Chiang Mai, particularly in terms of accessibility and overall service quality
Thank you once again to the entire team for making her stay so enjoyable and memorable

What a gem.
This hotel has definitely seen better days but still a big hotel with comfy beds, big room, nice views, fantastic huge pool and breakfast included for a very cheap price.
I lived off that fried rice and toast (waiting for the toast an adventure) with jam. The pool is dirty and there are no chairs to sit anywhere. The location is good close to everything
This hotel is very conveniently located for tourist attractions. It's easy to get around from here, and there are no issues with transportation. Grabbing a Grab is simple, and there are plenty of food options nearby
We had stayed here on our previous trip. The hotel is old with antique furniture, but it has all the basic amenities
The location is a short walking distance to the Kalarae Night Bazaar and the Hilal Street, where there are many halal eateries. There is a 150 years old Teak Mansion next to the hotel
the lighting in the room is very dim for some room as room change was requested. bed is sunken and maybe alot of changes needed for the place but in compare to the price vs quality and location

i love the swimming pool!!!so beautiful and large. The location very close to one nimman. But the light in the room was not very bright.
An excellent hotel in every aspect, from dining to the front desk to room service, and safety, including the hardware facilities. Everything was extremely satisfying.
It was supposed to include breakfast, and the front desk confirmed it, but when I went to the restaurant in the evening, they couldn't find my room number. I really dislike such awkward situations
Breakfast isn't worth much, and there are plenty of good places to eat outside, but if it's included, it should be available. This kind of mix-up is really annoying
If they had just given me two breakfast vouchers, that would have been much better. At least the restaurant still let me in
While the price was relatively cheap, I forgot to check its renovation date

Big room. Service is great. Location is a bit far from Nimman but can go there by Grab. Cool A/C. Worth a come back when visit CNX!
Rooms are quite spacious
Services very good
Very near to night safari and good restaurant near by
Worth for every penny
It was a great experience to stay in chiang mai ibis style hotel all of the people are polite
Room looked a bit old, bathroom had bad smell. Staff is nice and breakfast good.
All was excellent, the staff, cleanliness, decors, pool, comfort. Reception desk staff was very professional and helping. A red sofa in lobby was a piece of heaven..
Convenient location and helpful service staff , highly recommended

The location is very convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Maya and less than 10 minutes to One Nimman. I also tried the seafood buffet dinner, which was delicious and reasonably priced
There's a gym, pool, and meeting rooms. The breakfast spread is quite good, and the sunken-style dining area is a nice unique touch
The front desk staff provided excellent service with a constant smile, making me feel very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, and both the air conditioning and water pressure were incredibly strong and comfortable
Overall, the hotel's location is great; it's a convenient 10-minute walk to Nimman Road. However, the hotel environment and room layout aren't quite up to the standard of the Novotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam
Before checking in, I saw some reviews mentioning concerns about airplane noise, but I stayed for four nights and didn't hear a thing; it was very quiet
Our family stayed at this Novotel for all four nights during our Chinese New Year trip to Chiang Mai, just like we did in Nha Trang, Vietnam previously

Great location and a fantastic breakfast — perfect for sightseeing in Chiang Mai. Rooms were comfy, and tidy with huge bed. Check-in was a bit slow and needs improvement, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
Old hotel that has been refurbishes. Ac is noisy, cold but can not be controlled, cant even switch off. Location is ok. Suite room big, but bathroom... too small wish they refurbish that too
This has been my go-to hotel every time I visit Chiang Mai for the past 9 years! It's in a great location with plenty of food, entertainment, and shopping nearby, all at a reasonable price
Second time I have stay at Dusit. Hotel is always very clean and comfortable. Rooms are large , ensuite is very nice. Walk across the street to night markets and the night street food
Short tuk tuk or grab to all everything else Chiang Mai has to offer
Staff are friendly and accommodating. All in all it’s a great stay
I read that it was renovated recently, and found that it was similarl pleasantly updated with a touch of design

A negative side about the hotel is the pool, which were all very shallow and small and suitable only for kids. There were virtually no adult using the pool
This hotel was fantastic and provides all you need as a tourist here in Chiang Mai. The room was spacious and the pillows/beds were all super comfortable. The breakfast was also great, very sumptuous
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Convenient for shopping, right on Nimman Road. No airplane noise at night, so I could finally get some sleep.
Facilities: Quite new, and breakfast was abundant.
A downside about its location is that it is about 25 minutes of walking distance from the Nimman mall, which is the closest central area
Nice staffs, good location.
On check out we forgot Ipad in room but staffs call me and keep it. Thank you very much.
The hotel offers some shuttle busses to the mall, but the shuttles were a bit infrequent, starts at noon, and there is no pick up from the mall back to the hotel

We had a suite here, well worth the extra money
Perfect location
Staff were absolutely brilliant
Room service food was great
Linen service was incredibly fast
We did the Mae hong son loop for 5 days, and we left out bags at the hotel free of charge because we were returning for a night
💯 would recommend this place
But they don't have their system under control. They even told me that if I wanted a king-size bed, I should find another hotel. We stayed and ended up sleeping together in an 80cm bed, which was expensive
WE booked a room With KingSize Bed. WE checked in at 14:00 and WE become a 2 Single Bed Room. i ASK why ?
the answer: i booked the Hotel Last Minute. A Hotel which think is Premium
That's not how I imagine my vacation
If anything the rooms are slightly dated, but we learned to actually love this

Was a nice stay there and would like to go again there love the view
Receptionist services very bad,no hot for sgower, very noisy around hotel due to all the birds! i highly don't recommend for any tourists
book this hotel!
Nice hotel rooms and friendly staffs, but everything is broken, old things inside the room and there are no repairs , too bad because Nice hotel but the owner didn't look after.
But they provide Twin , surely they asked me do I accept for twin?
I said yes, because I’ve waiting nearly 1 hour with only 2 guests were checking in

I stayed here for a week and the hotel was excellent in every aspect. The pool was very clean and got sun all day, perfect for tanning. The staff were also incredibly enthusiastic and helpful
The InterContinental Chiang Mai is perfect for families with kids. It's a quiet place with a large, lush garden, offering plenty of space for children to play
The breakfast has a wide variety of choices, and its convenient location makes getting around easy. It's an excellent choice for a family vacation
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is attentive and thoughtful, with staff being very friendly towards little ones
The gym could use a few more pieces of equipment, like a power rack
Since its acquisition by IHG, the hotel's decor and renovations beautifully complement the Northern Thai Lanna style, making it an excellent choice for a stay in Chiang Mai

Large bathroom with jacuzzi, large sink, good water pressure in the shower. Great 4 star hotel, beautiful wooden decor and statues. Variety of tasty breakfasts, good coffee. The pool and gym are open from 6 am to 9 pm
Bar a few doors down although expensive is lively and fun! Only one thing, the planes were a little loud but didn't bother us much
We had an executive suite on the eighth floor with breathtaking views. The room is large and clean, in soothing colors with stunning lighting of your choice
Very good I am very happy to stay here and I will come back if I travel to CNX
Absolutely loved the room and pool and option to get drinks at pool, room was so clean and spacious, staff were incredibly helpful and the location was only 2 mins from basic shops and laundry and 6min walk from big shopping centre
We booked an executive room. It has spectacular views of the city. Great panoramic windows, comfortable bed, even jacuzzi. Worth the price to have a getaway for couple nights. Highly recommend 😻

Great price for value. The structure is a bit old, but good and clean enough. Pool is clean but in shade for most of the day so a bit cold. WiFi in the rooms is practically not existent
Classic old style hotel, but still quite clean and modern. Good value. Nice mountain view. The pool and gym are really tiny. Crossing the superhighway is a bit of an issue.
The pool was small but good and aesthetic and the entry hall was grand and convenient with also live music to soothe
Nice hotel with good location nearby One nimman and Maya shopping mall. Staffs are welcome and helpful. That’s wonderful! Only thing that hotel room was a bit old, especially bathroom
We got a superior room with two bed. The bed is so huge that two person can sleep in one bed. Closed to all the shopping centers. Yes , building is a bit old but price is worth
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were warm and friendly, and the location was excellent, close to Maya Mall and Nimman Road
