Ordered king size bed but give me twin bed. Air conditioning does not work. Refrigerator and TV are almost broken. Washing hand fountain is broken. Bed is way too soft like jelly. Many mosquitos.

Quiet, peaceful, nice spacious rooms :) cute turtles at the entrance :) gorgeous pink flowers around the terrace on the top floor

Before book a room here, consider other options.
Very dirty room, linen and towels smelly and stained. Disgusting.
The shower was terrible, dirty and full of insect.
And cherry on the cake, 3/4 holes in the ceiling and dust everywhere. No light in the room cause 2 of the four lamps was out of order.
It’s a pity,this hotel has a great position, it could be much better than this simply adjusting some elementary things.
Staff so and so, they can’t print for us a flight ticket... nothing to add.

Pics make it look better than it is. Has potential to be a lovely little boutique hotel but needs a refresher. Still, it was comfortable and if all you need is a place to sleep in a clean king size bed, then it's ok.

3 star from a commercial hotel perspective and 3.5 as a family owned boutique hotel. Inside old City/town. Very walkable to anything around the old town. Photos make the place look 2x as beautiful but the real hardware and scene are still quite pleasant, homey and no pretense. Will consider again if price is right.

Pictures look a lot better. Had lizards in my room. And have a lot of rules. Air-conditioning cannot be lowered below level 23 or it might overheat. Room felt too hot to be comfortable and will only cool down late at night. I was in room 405 and the bathroom had broken windows that I cannot shut so hot air was always in my room. They don't allow you to eat smelly foods or leave your food out because they have an ant problem. Jaccuzi was closed off for some unknown reason. Wasn't allowed to enter the area.
The staff was nice but over all I probably wouldn't repeat my visit.

Feels like lodging at someone's home. Rooms are clean and staff is very nice. There's a cafe downstairs that serves food as well. They let us check-in early too which was awesome. Anoma boutique house is in the center of downtown Chiang Mai so its really easy to walk around and explore all the night markets. Lodging fee very reasonable, highly recommend this place!

The best thing about Anoma is the location! It's close to interesting points and has some lovely cafes nearby.
There are a few things that need improvement though, especially the WiFi! The WiFi didn't work when we stayed there. The rooms were nice and cosy, but could do with better lighting. Pretty difficult to read or search for anything in your bag in the evening/night. The storage space in the cupboard is quite bad.
They have a hairdryer in the room but no socket in the bathroom for it!

Great for its location, cleanliness and ascetic's but have to mention it the Internet connectivity is very poor which is strange considering the numerous WiFi offerings around the city. The staff were not very responsive to the problem..

Great location and nice service. Lots to see in the area with plenty of shops and restaurants. 6 minute walk to the nightlife spots--not too close & not too far. Older hotel so it's not perfect, but functional--good toilet, hot shower, good water pressure, comfy bed, and air conditioning.

It's not really boutique but good value all the same. The hotel is a bit dated, rooms are big but could be cleaner and the decor could be updated. Shower strong but bathroom a bit old. Location is really good for old town.
