We stayed here for 8 nights, and the word stayed pretty much sums it up. Don’t expect any kind of resort vibe — just a bed. To be fair, the bed was neatly made every day, and toilet paper and bottled water were consistently replenished, which is always appreciated. The room was reasonably clean — not spotless, but also not the kind of place where you’re afraid to touch anything.

The location is without a doubt the hotel’s strongest point. It’s within walking distance of cozy bars, nice restaurants, and the night market. Perfect if you plan to spend most of your time outside and only use the hotel as a place to sleep.

Then there’s the pool. Or rather… what was once meant to be a pool. Sun lovers can skip this entirely, as not a single ray of sunshine reaches it at any point during the day. Even the sun seems to avoid this place.

The hotel itself feels abandoned, as if we accidentally checked into a building that was already halfway closed. There is a lot of overdue maintenance, and pretty much everything is in need of renovation. Overall, it gives the impression that the hotel might be preparing to shut down.

Conclusion: if you’re booking this hotel purely as a place to sleep and plan to be out and about most of the time, it’s perfectly fine. If you’re looking for comfort, atmosphere, or a place to actually relax, you should definitely look elsewhere. This hotel is functional — and that’s also its biggest compliment.
