Patong, 138 Thawewong rd., Patong , Kathu 🧭 Map
Such a great hostel. For under 400 baht (12usd) you get a bed with a curtain and free coffee, purified water, and basic breakfast. I turned over the bed to look for bedbugs and there we NONE. This hostel was cleaner than my bougie expensive hotel in Bangkok. Always bring earplugs because you're right next to the craziest street in the world. Each bed has an outlet, shelf, light, and a lockable...
Small Hostel but located just besides of patong beach and Bangla walking street. Nice and friendly receptionists (Most of them!) . Small dining space but you can enjoy and chit-chat with other people. Nice privacy arrangements and you can find your locker with your bed. I think bathroom should be more clean and the AC of my room was not ok. Its tipping some water from it. Overall recommended.
Great location, friendly staff. Made lots of new friends on the first night. Beds have curtains so it's almost like a private Pod. Private outlets and cubbies you can lock. Washing machines available for use. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!!
By far the nicest hostel I have stayed at in Thailand- clean, modern bathrooms, wide open social space, privacy curtains in the shared dorms, and large lockers able to fit a regular-sized backpack or bag. The staff is friendly and there is even a fridge full of beer for sale in the common areas. It's an excellent place to meet new friends, even in the low season (stayed in early Aug for reference)...

Not bad for Hostel and Good Location near MRT Airport Rail Link
This is a homey hostel. Very welcoming and everybody was very knowledgeable and accommodation. The food is good, though a bit pricey. Luckily, there are a lot of cafés, bars, food trucks, and family restaurants nearby so you're never without cheap options. Remember, Thailand is a country that promotes supporting street vendors & small family businesses so...have fun.

The staff! They treat you like family and have the best recommendations for cheap eats nearby.
This is a fantastic spot if you're a solo traveler. It has a cozy common area.I stayed here for three nights and had a very smooth experience. A new message for Jackie: We took a photo, hope you can see this. Thank you for seeing me off before I left. Information for friends who are reading this review: This hostel has just been taken over by this new owner. The previous bad reviews referred to "City Capsule" instead of this "Smiling Capsule". Best budget friendly hostel 🫰
Pros: The lady owner is so lovely and friendly, they also have tours for a reasonable price. Cheap price and great location. They also have an in house laundromat and free drinking water.
Cons: hygiene could be better, not enough bathrooms (only one bathroom for each floor which has 16~ people per floor), on a busy street so traffic noise is constant.
Not bad for the price, but lots of room for improvement. Some garbage bins would encourage people to keep the place tidy and it would be nice to be able to shower behind a locked door instead of a shower curtain. Other than that, reasonable for what you pay for it. Quiet, cleanish, great for backpackers on a budget.
I stayed in this hostel for a week. This was the cheapest one I found located within the old city. Though located in the old town, the soi is very quiet. The rooms are dark but the beds were ok with dedicated lockers by the bedside for small stuff and curtains and light. The kitchen has all the utensils and a microwave and a water kettle. There is no laundry service. The wifi is not good though. It...

Great hostel, the place is very clean and cozy and has a lot of amenities. I value places that has clean bathrooms, and this place delivers. There is also no mosquitoes.
The room are clean, nice staff so helpful. Thanks for being our host for 3 days. Definitely will be back someday. Bathroom is clean. 100% satisfied. Thanks Bangkok and thanks to all the staff.
Excellent staff, the caretaker 'Nuch' was extremely compassionate and helpful. Ambience and location is perfect. Very close to the most happening areas.

The hostel is good
It has good lounge zones, staff is cute and it’s not that far from the beach (10 mins walk)
But I didn’t like the curtains on the bunk - they didn’t close properly as they are too narrow. Also in the shower the walls are made from concrete and are all covered with stains or mold, I don’t know.
The floor is the room is also made from concrete and it is dirty, but they ask to take...
I was there for several nights. The first night was fine but after I moved rooms, my bedsheets had some stains. Other than that, all ok
Tan hostel staff are very helpful and friendly. Being a solo traveller can never go wrong while enjoying beautiful beach, a good massage at spa, and amazing people of thailand. Everyone are so welcoming & kind (not only the staff, shop owner and even pedestrian help me to guide the location). My first solo trip and if I have 1 word to conclude: breathtaking.
Super helpful and good location
Stayed here for just one night, but I really loved the experience! The place was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better.
Even though it was a short visit, everything was smooth and pleasant. Definitely a great choice for a quick stay—I’d happily come back again!

Sadly we would not return to this hotel. The nice thing about it was the location to DMK airport - a very easy 15-20 minute walk.
When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, just a sign with a WhatsApp number to message. We were able to walk right in, which made us question the security.
The sheets were clean, but the bathroom was soaking wet. We live in Asia, so we understand and have a wet room...

Not a bad hostel, clean enough and good lounge spaces. The staff were also very helpful once you found them. The bed however was definitely the loudest bed I’ve ever slept on in 3 months of hostels, I’m talking squeaking moving my HEAD.
The location is nice but I’d say only for a long stay, and if you’re interested in anything in central bangkok, I wouldn’t choose here.
The hostel is conveniently located near bts phra khanong station, about 5-7 mins walk. The hostel in itself is very cosy and nice. The owners, the staffs, the guests are all very nice and chilled out. Would definitely recommend checking it out
This is my fourth time staying at Holy Sheet, and I’ll keep coming back whenever I visit Bangkok.
It has a very cozy vibe, perfect for unwinding after exploring the bustling (and sometimes overwhelming) city. The hostel is conveniently located near both a BTS and a bus station, a mall, and several 7-Elevens and a Mini Big C.
The common areas have video games, a TV, and board games. It’s quiet during...
I stayed for a night. It a good hostel if you want something cheap and nice at the same time. The vibe is key:ppl are nice, the receptionist was very welcoming and the energy overall is something. One downside unfortunately is that my room was next to the common area so there's noise until late, not the best for someone who's seeking rest but if this is a non-issue for who's reading, totally worth...
Nice hostel, I liked the location (as it was convenient to get to my internship the time i get a place), not too far to some local markets, fruits market and street food (nice to explore new areas). It's not too close from crowded areas which i appreciated for a good sleep but near the skytrain (BTS), taxi scooter or buses (BTS or scooter taxi on BOLT are faster). A wonderful hostel that feels much more like a homestay.
Clean room and a lot of nice artwork to look at.
Great location by the Mekong River and close to the walking street.
Highly recommend.
Oh, what a charming artisan place, a breath of fresh air filled with art and style in the centre of Nongkhai! Bright, stylish, clean, without accommodation and variety of seating, eating and "coffeing" options, open air and air-conditioned, on own cute premises. Well done!
Great place to stay! Close to good food, markets and the river side, and of course there's a 7-11 in walking distance lol. The hotel itself is lovely, they lend out bicycles for free for you to explore the town! it's clear very creative people own this place, as you can see how much passion is in the decorating. paintings everywhere too! the cafe that's apart of the hotel is amazing too! Delicious...
Fabulous hostel in Nong Khai. It's a mix of art gallery, cafe and hostel. The aesthetic is relaxed and comfortable, not pretentious. Has a bohemian charm, but everything is clean and tidy. Great hostel, arrived without reservations and we're able to get a mixed room with 4 beds for 240 baht a night plus a 300 baht deposit for a key that they reimburse every dollar when you give it back. There's places to charge your device's along with showers and a good bed. Only problem is you get one thing blanket but there is a heater if you need to.
We rented a 4 bed dorm it was nice & clean & not in a bad location. Beds were fine. A good place to stay. Bunk beds are solid with no noise & each bed has a light and a plug. The lockers we had could be opened when locked they were bad , appart from that it was good.
It was a cool hostel, but the rooms were not what we're pictures when we placed our reservations. The air conditioning was also quite loud. But overall they were clean and the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant

For the price of a hotel, you get a nice dorm room, but no storage space, a large bathroom, but frequent water and electricity outages. The price is too high for the service.
Short stay, but I was satisfied
The staffs are very good, but the room is very small. There were 2 of us and we couldn't breathe. So we asked to upgrade to a bigger room, which was a little better. But... the room is not soundproof at all. The room next door can hear everything they do. They also snored loudly all night. We couldn't sleep in our room.
When I arrived there about 6 am and I contacted to them. They let me early check in at 9:45 min without additional charges.
Bath room is quite cleaned and location is the good, quite even closed to the walking street.

The most worth it hostel I ever stayed in Thailand. It is also near the convenience store and mall.
Is it okay to be in a dark alley at night? I was worried, but I received a lot of help from kind people.
I'm not very picky, but sadly it wasn't what we expected. Nobody was there, no reception and no people. then one man came, gave us the key, said which room and left again. The whole stay we were alone. The bed was broken and I informed the people from the hostel but never got an answer so we slept 2 nights with a broken bed. It worked but was not very confy. And then we checked out and wanted to ask...
Very nice small hotel in the middle of Sathorn. The rooms are big enough and air-conditioned. The only negative point is the lack of a bathroom. You have to share this with everyone else as there is only one shared bathroom. The stairs are not lit in the evening. But if that doesn't bother you, you will find peace and quiet here.
A very nice place to stay in bangkok. Self check-in is available and the process is really simple. You will get almost every amenities inside the hostel. Shops are easily accessible. The hostel is neat and clean. The only problem is that there is no attached bathroom available.

How do you even review a place that feels more like coming home than checking in? Jenny’s Hostel in Hua Hin isn’t your average “hostel.” Don’t let the name fool you — every room is private, some just happen to fit more of your travel gang.

Nice location, friendly service but cleanliness needed to dealing with
The accommodation is good and clean. My son likes it very much. Across the road is the sea. There are restaurants to buy food at night. It is very convenient.
The hotel is quite old, and it looks like my own house. Well, it is indeed a sea view room. You can see the sea when you open the door and the window. You can see the sunrise facing the sea when you get up at 6 o'clock in the morning. The environment is OK, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel does not provide slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. There are two bath towels. And soap....
The day I went, the blanket smelled really bad. I could hardly sleep. The bathroom smelled like sewage. Other than that, it was okay. It was on the 3rd floor with a sea view, but there was no elevator. It’s not suitable for people with bad knees.
The room is good value for money. There is a parking lot. The equipment is complete. Hair dryer can be borrowed at the counter. Refrigerator, drinking water, towels are complete. The location is good. Come down and walk across the road to see the sea.
