The guesthouse is located above a French/Thai/Italian restaurant even opened at night (24h!), with excellent pizzas, happy hour for pizzas 🍕 every afternoon, and good wines at affordable prices

I spent 1 week in the guesthouse, it's clean, unexpensive and quiet: my room was fully furnished and equipped with free Wi-Fi, aircon, fridge, TV, water boiler

very cute price The room was quite spacious, there was a drive for the housekeeper, some of the staff spoke well. But the person who is supposed to be in charge of this part is probably just giving a bad service

But the housewife aunt is very cute. Another thing is the pizza downstairs (Dom Pizza) is very good, delicious, let's just say that if we don't mind the building next door, we will definitely go back :)

I would love to stay here again and hope I will. The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms clean every day, walking to beach was easy stores and bars very close. And the food in the restaurant was fantastic

So, if you're unsure whether you'll make it by 5pm or need to leave early (they charge a deposit, which you have to collect), you can always let the hotel know you'll be late, but you need to plan ahead and notify them! Entrance to the hotel is through the intercom, key #1! So, if a family arrives, one stays in the room, the other goes for a massage, and everything works with a key, then you can't...

Great hotel, around a 5 minute walk from the centre and the beach. We travelled as a couple and found the hotel one of our favourites after 1 month in Thailand. Would highly recommend great value for money

Great location! Rooms were clean and staff very kind and accommodating.

It was our first time on Koh Samui and this was our first hotel, so we booked online. We took a bus from Phuket, leaving at 7am and arriving at the hotel only at 5pm

The hotel is on the road! Cars drive by, bikes whistle, people talk under the windows, and the bar across the street is having fun - we wanted peace and quiet, but that's not what this place is about! We spent the night and went somewhere else

We payed for one night and stayed over a week! Terry is an excellent host always trying to make our stay more pleasant. He keeps the place super clean

The guest house is close proximity to the beach and Cha-am motorcycle rental, with plenty of activities close by

The accommodation isn't far from the beach. Parking is in a separate location from the accommodation, but it's not too far. The parking area is spacious and can accommodate many vehicles.

This hotel's location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the beach and the bar party street. Despite its proximity to the action, the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet, allowing for peaceful nights' sleep

The rooms were clean, and there's parking available, though it's a bit far but secure. The beach is just across the street. Stayed there for two nights.

Right above a coffee house and owners/hosts were extremely friendly!

A quaint little guest house above a family run coffee shop in the centre of Old Town they were very helpful and friendly .

Number 1 location 👍 Although there was a bit of street noise, it didn't bother us too much, but it might be a problem for couples with children 🤷🏻♀️. The only minor drawback was the small wardrobe and large mirror

We had the best stay for 4 night in what felt like a pent house studio room with view of the whole city , and mountain, the room was comfortable and clean and the water in the shower was hot! The people who work there and live there are the best , friendly and welcoming! It felt like a home base vibe and I highly recommend staying here! I spoke to a lady in the 'weed' shop but also did the house keeping, she didn't know English but we used translate and she called the boss and we arranged over the phone again nice and easy

I used the private rooms b5 and b7 - which include a balcony you can smoke on without the worry of a narc crying about the smell. I stayed for around 1 month and noticed how diverse it was

I enjoyed my time so much, I’m sad I didn’t take I did not take my picture but the view from floor 8 was incredible sunrise and moon rise , it felt like we were on top of the city! Best place to stay in Chang Mai!

I didn't once smell weed or smoke in the hotel, sometimes outside when walking in and out but that's everywhere in Thailand. On my 5th night I decided I wanted to extend my stay for another 4 nights

On the downside, housekeeping could be improved. Also, we stayed on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Still a good place to stay thanks to its excellent location

I was lucky that it was school holidays for about 90% of my stay, but once the kids returned, there was a big break around 11:30 AM every day when all the children would come out into the yard

The room is located near the center. THERE IS PRACTICALLY NO WINDOW IN THE ROOM. The room is small and smells damp. You can stay for one night.

Otherwise, it's a typical Thai-style room

If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel isn't for much else. You won't want to spend time there, but the price-to-quality ratio is good, and it's right next to the most beautiful beach.

The staff at Sure Guesthouse is also very friendly, professional and helpful. Lastly, if you are not driving or using a motorbike, don't you worry, Grab and Bolt work very well here

We've stayed here for 3 nights. Very good guesthouse for this price. A bit noisy, but I didn't have any problem with sleeping honestly

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations beyond words. I judged it prematurely because of the price but my room was very big, it was squeaky clean and it actually looked nice

Happy overall experience But was unlucky getting the first nights next to the main road / highway. Changed to the next house and now it is all good. 5 minutes Walk to the beach

Also, there isn't a lift so you have to use stairs (this was fine for me cause I was eating ALOT so I needed the stairs, but I know some people don't like that and should probably ask to get a room on the 2nd floor when booking

Great small, but nice and clean guesthouse. Great price for the quality, most of the guesthouses in SEA have a cockroaches and small bugs, I didn't see any in here for 10 nights

Well located a few steps from the beach, Juceiylong, 15 minutes from Bangla, kudo, Savoy or nanai street, you will find at your doorstep a very nice little street restaurant, pharmacy, massage, exchange at the best rate in Patong etc

In a word: exceptional value for money!! Discovered 7 years ago I have never found better, even if the covid years forced me to new experiences. I just spent 6 weeks there with my friend!

Located at the crossroads of soi kep sab sur rat u thit this small 3-storey hotel offers you 12 large rooms with large balcony, large and bright bathroom and pretty decoration

Convenient location. Clean room. Hot water, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. Nice host. The room was on the top floor with a beautiful view.

This is a reasonably priced hostel in downtown Koh Samui. The rooms are in good condition overall and the location is great. The staff are friendly.

What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service at the reception, thanks to a lovely young lady named Ying and a friendly young gentleman. They were incredibly helpful, always calm and smiling

Even when we requested extra items, like a kettle to boil water, they provided them without any hassle. Their warm attitude really made a difference in our experience

The room was just okay, but the swimming pool and location is excellent and the price very reasonable

The corridors are full of stuff like towels and bed sheets, and it’s constantly there. Don’t get me wrong—I can accept these conditions, but the price should reflect them. Lowering it from 1000 to 500–600 would be fair

Great location, on edge of old town. Pool always clean, not busy. Staff lovely, lots of food and bar options nearby. Somd renovations to common areas ongoing, rooms clean buf smallish and dated. Would stay here again.

Perfect location close to everything you want. Rooms are basic, but bed was a little uncomfortable, wooden floor boards were very creaky and bathroom started smelling of mould due to lack of ventilation

They cant do enough for there guests. 10 mins to beach via shops etc. Rooms are nice lots hot water and clean. the massages at guest house are amazing. loads of places to eat in the surrounding area

We loved the ample storage space and two balconies, perfect for relaxing. The family running the guesthouse was fantastic. They truly cared about our comfort and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time

Bed, shower, swimming pool, breakfasts, WiFi, etc. As for me, I prefer efficiency over luxury, so for me this hotel was the best option - simple but efficient

I’ve been staying at this ‘family’ of guesthouses since 1997, and this particular one since it opened 20 years ago, but I think it’s probably my last stay. Nothing is terrible, but nothing is great either

This place has a beautiful garden where guest can have a cup of coffee or a nice meal while watching the river. I loved my time there, the room was small but functional for a solo traveller

The stuffs are nice and speaks very good english. The coffee and tea are so good but it’s not free(don’t worry it’s cheap). Doesn’t have air conditioner in my room it has two fans but one was enough for me

Food was great and there were some pets on the garden sometimes which is always nice

The room I booked in doesn’t have bathroom in it but have to go to the ground floor for bathroom. It’s pretty reasonable for the price. They have a dining place next to the river which gives you an amazing view

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this laid-back, family run, boutique hotel. Right on the river with everything, just a short walk or taxi ride away

I extended my stay for half day where I had to pay only 200 baht. Location wise, it was really near to khao san and also phra atit pier, although I prefer to take grab ride

Overall really good stay, stayed for 4 nights two of which booked through trip. Really nice location, plenty of good food around, cheap or luxury. Just a few minutes walk away from the entrance of kaosan road

It's in the middle of everywhere (tourist spot), and yet quiet enough. The rooms are held rather small, but do you really need much space? The shower had good pressure. You can't do anything wrong with booking this stay

There is no lift for human access so need to climb up to 5th floor, but there is a small lift for luggage, at least you no need carry heavy to climb the staircase

Overall is good, the room is clean and have everything, just the safety locker not functioning, and room space a little bit small

The hotel is incredibly convenient, located right on the riverbank close to the main street. The property itself is quite large, with each room being a private bungalow, giving it a true resort feel

AC was the best we’ve had in Thailand. Feel like you are in your own little village. We extended our stay here and were able to rent very good motorbikes from the guesthouse

Canary Guesthouse – Deluxe River View Rooms The room comes with a lovely river-view balcony, and the location is very convenient — just cross the bamboo bridge and you’ll reach Pai Walking Street

I booked a Double River View, and we have got the nice view of river. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony seeing the river. And the hotel is quiet as it locates on another side of Pai walking street

Breakfast is not included, but there’s a local Thai aunty at the reception area selling traditional morning dishes, which is a nice touch. A comfortable and convenient place to stay in Pai!

Excellent value for money, you couldn’t get more central and friendly and welcoming hosts and staff to a solo traveller thank you! Wish I had had stayed longer although I’m sure my liver thanks me for that :)

Although i found really difficult to find, despite having clear directions the combination of jet lag and how you really are truly slap bang in the centre of all the action in Patong - the accommodation and sauna and bar are all one complex in a pedestrianised section of the complex

Late arriving and only staying for one night the owner provided excellent communication before my arrival, tips on how to get there and advice on room allocation made sure it met my needs- which was really appreciated the personal touch

Staff very friendly escorted me up to my room and helped me with all my luggage / which was really grateful for - the room spacious, clean - not as noisy as I was expecting given you are on the top of an entertainment complex

Not a bad hotel in the center of Patong, on *** Street. All the bars, clubs, and massage parlors are nearby. The hotel is quite old, but it has a comfortable bed and free sauna access for guests

Good WiFi was able to do work and a comfy bed - had some drinks at the bar everyone was very friendly and welcoming and gave me some tips for my one night in Phuket

Warm welcome. Swimming pool. Glass water bottle in the room, not plastic – great! Very comfortable bed. Just shake out the sheets well before sleeping as there are often bits of lint... but they are clean.

Very good hotel, especially for such a price. There was a swimming pool, free coffee and free water bottles every day. The laundry was reasonably priced!

Very friendly staff, nice, big, clean rooms, big swimming pool. You need a motorbike to go around, but there are pleanty of restaurants around to eat. Overall very good. Would definitely stay there again.

Temperature: Instead of proper ventilation, there’s just a hole in the wall with a mosquito net. It doesn't close, so when the temperature drops to 15–18°C at night, it gets freezing cold. Even the blanket doesn't help

Shared shower: Extremely cramped. There's nowhere to hang clothes safely—everything on the hanger gets soaked while you shower. Breakfast: Don't expect much — "breakfast" here consists of only coffee and nothing else

Smell: There is a smoking area right behind the wall, so the room constantly reeks of tobacco or ********* smoke. Soundproofing: The walls are paper-thin. I could literally hear someone snoring three rooms away
