Sarikantang Resort & Spa (SHA Plus+) in Haad Rin

Poorly maintained and does not match pictures. The room was up many steps, which were difficult to traverse at night. The door did not shut properly. The pools are tired not maintained. There are tiles missing, the sun beds are dirty. We were booked to stay five nights but left after just one with no refund because the hotel was so poor. Reception staff, however, were friendly. Do not book this hotel.

The maintenance here is shocking. It is so old and there is no pride in the place. Staff attitude is horrible. The grounds are not maintained. Decking everywhere broken and lying around. The pool tiles are all broken and other pool patch up with liner. Sun bathing chairs all broken. We took the top three units. So disappointed and dirty. Nozzle nests in room / cob webs. I can go on and on it was such a horrible experience. Stay away

Most expensive and disappointing experience in our vacation. The „Resort & Spa“ is old and Not well taken care of, there is dirt, leaves everywhere..
our room door did Not close fully, we put in towels to keep cockroaches out.. the windows in the shower could Not be closed fully.. Same Problem there..
The only Nice thing was the shower and the Beach - and the Shuttle driver was Most friendly staff.
If you expect hospitality and friendly staff, you should Look somewhere Else.
Very cold welcome, Service staff From Restaurant is rude and unfriendly - e.g. Asks for our room number at breakfast and comes back later to ask again and to tell us that we Said the wrong number.
Or as we were waiting for Check in , restraurant staff tells us off, because appearently we were sitting in Chairs that should Not have been Placed there (we did Not have a clue, saw free chairs and thought we sit down a Bit After our long Journey..)
Tables will Not be cleaned After people leave After breakfast, you just have to sit at a Dirty table.
They will Not bring you cutlery, you have to Look for yourself.
Once I saw a cockroach fly down From the Toaster to the ground at breakfast.
We left 3 Nights before scheduled Check out without recompensation, mostly because of the weather Conditions But would have looked for another Place if we stayed..

PS: Wifi ist sehr schlecht und langsam, Verbindung bricht immer wieder ab
Der Fußweg bzw. Auffahrt zum Hotel ist eine dunkle Gasse die voller Schlaglöcher ist und es stinkt nach Müll, Kot und allem möglichen.. die wenig verfügbaren strandliegen sind meistens kaputt.. die Betten sind STEINhart !

The hotel is conveniently located and offers a variety of cabins to choose from. The beach is lovely, but unfortunately, we couldn't fully enjoy it due to the rainy weather during our stay. If you want to get into the town at night then be prepared to walk through some dark back streets to get there as well. While the rooms are adequately furnished, they could benefit from some significant updates. For example, the chaise sofa was stained and mouldy, likely due to water dripping from the air conditioner above. Additionally, there was a small gap at the top of the cabin's front door, which opened directly to the outside, leading to a not very ideal level of sound and insect proofing. On the bright side, the hotel provided a mosquito racket, which was very useful for dealing with the occasional bugs that found their way inside. The breakfast offered was fairly standard—sufficient to start the day but nothing exceptional. The highlight of our experience was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even arranged last-minute boat transfers for us, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel has so much potential if they just renovated the rooms a bit more.
