Amara Beach Resort Koh Phangan in Haad Yao

We had an amazing stay at TropiCoco and would highly recommend it. The rooms are very spacious - we stayed in the Superior Bungalow with Garden View and absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A big plus for us was that all windows have mosquito nets installed, which made the stay even more pleasant.

The location is perfect: just a 1-minute walk to the beach and a 2-minute walk to 7Eleven and everything you might need nearby.
The balcony was wonderful - your own little green oasis, perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxed evening with a Chang or a glass of wine.

The service really stood out: warm, welcoming, big smiles, and such positive energy from the staff. Even though we stayed only one night, we were very happy with everything.

One thing worth mentioning is that it’s quite a family-oriented resort, with many families and kids of all ages. This didn’t bother us at all, but it’s good to know if you’re specifically looking for an adults-only atmosphere.

Bonus points: we had the cutest cat hanging out with us on the balcony 🐈 please take good care of her, she is lovely!

Lovely Resort, tasty restaurant with a mixed menu, nice rooms. The bathroom could need an update (no worries if you need to wait for 5 minutes until warm water is flowing)

Credit where credit is due. The staff deserve all of it. Very friendly. Never felt that welcome.

The bar/restaurant is directly on the beach, and as a resort guest, you receive a 10% discount.

The Pool is nice and refreshing, be aware that some tiles are broken and have sharp edges.

Amazing and friendly stuff, great room, good location for people who want to be close to everything and still enjoy a bit (not too much)of quiet time. Great sunsets too.

The beach was a bit dirty and not ideal for swimming, likely due to the nearby construction sites. I recommend using the pool to refresh.

The food in the Italien restaurant was very tasty.

This is a lovely hotel at Haad Yao beach. The resort is really well kept and the garden is beautiful. The bungalow we stayed in were really nice and quiet and the staff clear every day. The food in the restaurant is really good as well, specially the pizzas and the pasta (the chef is from Italy). There is sun beds on the beach which you can stay in for free if you stay at the hotel. The staff is really nice and helpful and we be looking forward to come back next year again.

I really fell in love with this establishment. They were very accommodating with me, I changed my reservation and they did everything possible to give me complete satisfaction. The staff is perfect, the different rooms are very good, good value for money and the location is perfect. I will return with pleasure!

Sadly we didn't stay here but ate here for breakfast and dinner most days. Great location right on the beach, super cool vibe, really friendly staff, amazing food. Nothing could be improved. Next time we will definitely look into staying here.

Our favourite hotel we stayed at in all of Thailand ! The most beautiful location on a brilliant beach , the rooms are modern and have everything you need. The staff cannot help you enough helped us book taxis and ferry tickets , and were so nice and helpful with everything. Food amazing, just a brilliant hotel can’t recommend enough.
