Hotels on first line in Krabi Province

Staff friendly, nice but very basic. Break fast was nice and located in a great area right by the beach. But pool was in awful condition.

Decent for the money well located staff are acomodating !!

Note that hotel does not have any lift. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. But it is located at main road side and thus rather noisy

This hotel has a nice backyard with a clean little pool. Small balcony good enough for smoking but not much more

Staying 2 nights and changed room 3 times, staff was accommodating nevertheless

The best thing about this hotel is that it is just 1 minute from Aonang Beach. One type has balconies facing the road. ( Ours) And the other type has balconies facing the pool

The owner May is very welcoming, helps with everything, we even took bikes through her when we went to the lighthouse. You can use the pool of the neighboring hotel

Huge room, has everything you need, quiet secluded place, and everything is nearby: 5 minutes to the sea, even less to the shops

The beach is a five minute walk

Nice big clean rooms. Food can be ordered to the room. Employe sent me pills when my food poisoning was at its peak. Manager was nice and gave me his shoes when mine was stolen. On the downside, my shoes got stolen.

Wonderful hotel managers!!! They can help you with tours, rentals, transportation, and more. Restaurant has some good breakfast options and fruit shakes as well. Wi-Fi is great depending on the room you get

I can't even remember how many. Just Come, albeit a name that doesn't translate well, has lovely big clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Some rooms have a nice wardrobe and they all have a desk and fridge

Absolutely beautiful place and great value. We had rain for 2 of the 4 days we were there but we didn't mind as our room had a bath on the balcony with a seaview, was very clean and cosy with a huge TV

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. Well-placed with restaurants and the beach 5 mins walk

The bar has close during our stay due to low season. You can get pretty decent food at the local restaurant just 10 down the road and stop at the “why not bar” for great sunsets

Wow!!! What a place to stay!! Had a wonderful two nights here with family and friends. Boat trip to the islands for wonderful snorkelling. Beautiful sunset dinners. Hospitality at its best👌

Just a short walk down the street to the beach. Wonderful breakfast and access to one of the best restaurants across the street. Pool was clean and well maintained facilities all around

Annie and her staff were very kind with us and we had a memorable stay. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by luxurious landscape. It made our stay at koh Lanta one of the best in Thailand and we'll come back certainly

you sleep like a dream since there's no noise from outside. Fairly close to the beach, although a scooter is highly recommended. Private entrance for early or late hours

Only stayed for 1 night. But the location is really convenient only 800m to the ao nang beach. The staffs pretty nice and helpful

Huge room with an equally huge balcony. The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is in a quiet area, close to shops, many cafes, and restaurants. The beach is a 10-minute walk away

They let me check in early, which I really appreciated. I got a spacious room with a terrace on the top floor, so the view was amazing! Great location. The ladies at the front desk were all very smiling and friendly

This room was great with a soft and comfortable bed and also a bathtub in the bathroom along with a separate shower. The room has a kettle, tea and coffee with 2 bottles of water daily

Came on Aug 15. Beach is ok, but the tide is quite strong and the water pondering is very brownish. not clean, not blue. seems not the right season to be around. dispointed.

The views are stunning! I highly recommend booking a sea-view room, as all of them face the ocean. They directly overlook the pool, and just below the pool is the beach

There are renovations going on at the hotel right now which caused a lot of noise in my booked room, however the Reception staff were wonderful and agreed to move me to a better sited and nicer villa style room very close to the beach

We had a nice quiet stay at the hotel. Access to the beach and pool was lovely and the hotel staff were really kind and helpful. Many restaurants and cafes can be found only a short walk away.

Its in very nice vibe people are very helpfull location is ok you can walk to the beach in 5min for centre you can take taxi or hire a bike Just one thing that i can tell inside of houses needed renovation but they r really big enough space for everything

Pretty decent spot for the price. Clean and comfortable, with a pool. Can't complain compared to some of the other places I've been in Thailand over the last 3 weeks.

The water pressure was barely existent, so washing hair for example was quite hard, the water was barely luke warm too. We also discovered cockroaches in the water tank of the toilet

The tap on the sink was broken too, you could swing it left and right and no water pressure again. The provided water glasses were dirty with tooth paste. The towels were clean but ripped and full of holes

Bathroom was old and the tub was dirty, like the dirt you can not get off anymore, the tap old and dirty and the shower hose so short, we had to sit in the dirty bath tub to shower

Quiet, clean place close to the beach! Quiet and comfortable place just by the main road. To access the beach just cross the road and walk 200m. Many good restaurants close by, either on the main road or on the beach

The restaurant serves good food, the bar and beach club are great, and the pool is lovely. There’s also a small gym and activities like ATV rides and kayaking (depending on water levels)

Best staff in the world ! So helpful, so chill and so nice in a genuine way. However, the sea is muddy and you can't swim in it

They offer pick-up and drop-off if you book activities through them; otherwise, transport via tuk-tuk and long-tail boat is chargeable each time

If you’re looking to truly unwind and disconnect, this is the perfect place

The hotel is so isolated that in order to find any sign of civilisation you need to do tuktuk + boat + car (which is handled by the best staff in the world). But I found myself very bored

Also you are obligated to eat at the hotel restaurant which is overpriced for Krabi and waaaay over-priced for a fishing island

Service was really good Staff really friendly and helpful Booked taxis and trips with them. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants on the street are excellent we didn’t have a bad meal

Overall, a good stay for a couple of nights. The room is very large with a terrace and a TV with some international channels. The location is also very good, close to the beach and a 7-Eleven

I will definitely be back again! The beach is a maximum of 5 minutes away, and 7/11 is just 3 minutes away

Close to the beach and didn’t have any functionality related issues during the stay

As for the negatives, the pillows were big and uncomfortable, the mattress was hard, there was a foul smell from the sink, and every morning at 5 AM, loud songs from the mosque and roosters woke us up 😅😅😅

It is around 10 minutes walk from the beach (great walk on a night due to all the restaurants, bars, food stalls and shops you pass)

This was a surprising hidden gem. Located a little farther up the *****, it is nice to be off the main road, but still easily walkable to the busier part of the *****

Beautiful balcony view facing mountain. Excellent customer service and front desk staffs. good room facilities and pool. A bit far from crowded Ao Nang beach streets, but it's OK since we rent motorcycle

Pool area is small with not alot of sun loungers so we didn’t spend much time here. Abit of a walk to the restaurants and bars but easily accessible to laundry services, bike rental etc

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Abit off a walk to the beach but plenty of taxi's and tuktuks to catch a few good restaurants and bars close by

So I was not to interested in this place after reading other people's reviews but after staying there the last 2 nights I loved it. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and drinks

Room was lovely so clean and had a balcony. We asked for some chairs for our balcony if they were available and the staff brought them up to our room straight away! Bathroom was also spotless

Only downside was the shower pressure was non existent

we also had breakfast which was good all mornings

A lovely, quiet hotel. The sea was constantly at low tide. We swam in the pool. The sounds of nature were all around. The hotel is secluded.

We went sea kayaking, had massages at the resort, swam in the pool and ocean, drank cocktails as the sun went down and thoroughly relaxed

Beautiful resort next to the beach and in the middle of thai nature. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent local and fresh food. All the facilities are well maintained. We had a great time in Ao Thalane!

They organized a seafood feast for us one night which was delightful. You really cant walk to anything from Melina's but they organized transport whenever we wanted to go into town or to other activities

A perfect stay on Koh Lanta – absolutely recommended! :) The rooms were very clean, spacious, and the whole property with the pool is very well maintained. You immediately feel comfortable there

It was such a gem of a property, with a delightful pool and beautiful 🌴🌸, just a five minute scooter ride to the beach (and more)! Staff was very friendly, including Agoda, the beautiful white kitty

The pool is lovely and the grounds very well kept. Everything is very clean and there is a great vibe at the resort. Many of the staff speak English so that was helpful as well

The location is also great: you can reach the beach in about 6 minutes by scooter, where there are many restaurants, small shops, and beautiful sunsets

We had two americanos every morning! The pool is also really nice. Good size and beautifully landscaped. We will definitely stay here again

I really liked the convenient location, very close to the pier; we walked there with our suitcases in just 3 minutes. The architecture is unique with a pool in the courtyard

Excellent hotel with a superb location. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach or other attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with similar prices, convenience stores, and laundromats

In the evenings, they show movies in the restaurant area. The hotel's beach is not suitable for swimming

There's a water cooler on each floor with three different temperatures, from cold to hot. The room had plenty of outlets and a gorgeous balcony with a huge sofa. The breakfast also impressed us with its variety of dishes

By the way, it’s very easy to take a longtail boat after dark from Ao Nam Mao pier. Though we only stayed one night, it was unforgettable. We would definitely return and recommend that others stay here!

The grounds are clean, and the room is clean. The monkeys are playful, but they're kept in check. The hotel description is accurate. Breakfasts are good, and dinners are also tasty

Shower pressure was good, there was ample of hot water and the bathroom size was good! We had stayed in a standard room before NYE and then came back to Royal Lanta after staying in Ko Phi Phi

5 stars for the room, 4 staff, 3 amenities. Some amenities closed because of the low season, also they could improve the maintenance of the pools and the cleanliness in the beach side.

We stayed over NYE in a Deluxe Villa. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and House keeping came everyday and cleaned the room, changed towels and topped up the glass bottled water

I stayed at low season, so some things were abandoned, sunbeds are in bad condition, shower near swimming pool didn't work correctly. My light in room didn't work, so staff solved this problem on this day

## Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was good. The mosquito net had some dust, likely because it's rarely used. ## Environment: The landscaping is excellent, and it's very quiet, right by the beach

This place is on an island- there will be insects and bugs! They didn’t bother us

Very nice bungalow setup and pool. Just 8 min walk to the main swimming beach. Stores, bars and restaurants all around. Only issue was the shower drain was a bit clogged and smelly once water passed through

But management is on it and will have it fixed. They did always get something wrong with our orders and it took a while until it was served

Staff was nice and friendly and they help me with my room problem Location is on Railay west near the floating pear. U need to walk to get into the nearest beach but it’s not more than 10m walk

Our stay has been great! The bungalow is pretty awesome, clean, good AC to keep us cool. Breakfast is available every morning. The pool is clean and not too busy

If you don’t want to stay in a hostel and not pay for an expensive resort it’s a good choice. The best accommodations are the bungalows near the reception and pool. staff was friendly and helpful

Most of your personal requirement are very easily available as there are many shops and restaurant nearby. Airport transfer is also available and very affordable if you don't mind sharing a van to the airport

Spacious, well-furnished rooms and very comfortable beds. Occasionally there was a slight sewage smell, which seems to be a regional issue. Towels were clean but no longer perfectly white.

The hotel’s location is very strategic. It is about a 15-minute walk from the beach, which is great, and it is close to a street with several halal street food options at night, all very good and reasonably priced

However you can also hire a private taxi or e- hailing

There is also a 7-Eleven just two minutes away and a currency exchange right in front of the hotel, so in terms of location, it could hardly be better. The room, although quite outdated, serves its purpose

It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach, which made it really easy to get around. The only downside is that there’s no lift, but it wasn’t really a problem for me

We where lucky to get one of the first row bungalows with direct view to the beach / sea and decided to stay longer

Their prices for bike rent and laundry are pretty higj, compared with a place right next to the exit to the main road. But the location is great with a quiet beach and nice sea view

Nice and clean bungalows, beatiful people whom do everything to help you. Close to Yawee resturang and close to The beach. We stayed 14 days and every day was perfect either at Relax Bay or Long Beach

The Relax Bay is a super nice beach on Koh Lanta, so the location is perfect. The resort is located on the northern end of the bay. The service is very friendly and dedicated

61 was OK, nothing fancy, shower head didn't work well, asked to have fixed/replaced, my request was ignored. Breakfast was good, the beach was clean a small amount of foam on the top of the ocean water

The location is ideal, a few minutes walk to the beach on one side and a few minutes walk to the main street with restaurants on the other side. All is there for the perfect stay

The room was large with a decent standard and the hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful.   It's a quick walk down to the beach and in close proximity to good restaurants and bars.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms with a bathtub. Has all the necessary amenities including umbrellas in the rain as it was raining so much here. They even have transport to bring you from the room to the main lobby

It’s pretty simplistic with no real customer service to speak of, but I found that charming. The staff allowed me to check out late in exchange for a small payment, which really made my last day more chill
