Hotels on first line in Krabi Province

Visited in peak season (January) and it was incredibly crowded. All rooms were booked, and Railay Beach was packed like sardines. The facilities are definitely 4-star

Every day, we saw adorable dusky leaf monkeys cooling off and munching on leaves on the rooftops and in the trees. They were incredibly cute! We also spotted a hornbill

We first were staying at the Railey Village Resort (a similar named hotel next door) and their rooms were gross and moldy. We were luckily able to cancel our reservation and found one last room here

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The garden design is beautiful, and the complimentary mini-bar is refilled daily with a great selection of drinks and snacks

Breakfast at the beachfront restaurant is a real treat, enjoying the morning views of Railay Bay – so relaxing. The sunset views in the evening are absolutely stunning

Location is good for those that stay at the more expensive rooms which are closer to the pool and the West side of Railay

The hotel is amazing, beach connected to hotel which is a plus, shops are 5/10min walk but you can hire bikes and motorbikes for relly cheap and go where you want which is great, staff at hotel are very friendly and helpfull

We were 100% satisfied with EVERYTHING, SPECIALLY with thew staff and the location. There is ALL YOU NEED, a beautiful beach, big rooms, friendly staff and the sound of the waves 100% zufrieden

When we arrived, our assigned room was quite a walk from the pool. You could call a buggy, but the path is really rough, just a dirt road. Breakfast was also very limited and not good at all

The breakfast was really good and the view from the pool was amazing

The resort sits in an excellent micro-location, with accommodation plus office/reception in a leafy forest on one side of the road and the restaurant, bar and pools on the other side by the very nice beach, connected by a tunnel

I'm very grateful for their assistance! The hotel facilities are great, and the room was very spacious

Kim,Sa,Seem,M,Ta,Roh,Prae,Jenny,Oom,Fom and Mus on reception as well as all the lovely staff in the restaurant really made our holiday, if ever we are lucky enough to visit Ao Nang again I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel

The best part of this Hotel is the staff,they are absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us,from the second you pull up on the forecourt you are greeted with big smiles

Great breakfast buffet with plemty of choices. Big praise to the ladies which work at the kids club. Theye were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our kids loved to go there and play with them

The breakfast was very good. Lots of fresh fruits and egg station serving omelettes etc. Room nice and was serviced well. Staff very helpful.

Starbucks on site was so handy and we definitely made use of it lol. Can book activities within the hotel aswell as bike rental. We went around Xmas time so prices may vary depending on time of travel

It is close to some markets in the area and the beach is 10 minutes away. We went to the other side at Ao Nang with scooter tul-tuk and it costs 100 baht. Definitely worth staying here of the bed and the quiet at night

Nice and clean room. Mountain view is wonderful but a bit far from beach by walk.

Close to ao nang beach, has all amenities and beautiful views. Everything within a 5 minute walk from resort. Highly recommend!

This is a nice clean hotel, with a lovely pool and decent buffet breakfast. We had a pool view room that was spacious enough for our 4 nights stay

It is roughly a 20min walk down to Ao Nang beach but grabs and local tuk tuks are available

The only thing I didn't like was the gym: the air conditioning was always either very weak or didn't work at all, which turned your workout into a sauna. The equipment was very old, and it was always quite dusty

Really happy to stat here , great location and cliff view right from the balcony , short distance to Ao Nang

The shower in the bathroom had a good pressure and has a good temperature range however, we would spot ants in the bathroom every time we went in. The pool looked nice and pool towels are provided

Overall, the hotel was very good. The view was absolutely gorgeous with views of the cliffs. The pool area is lovely and relaxing

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk to the beach, which we actually enjoyed since we love walking. For those who prefer not to walk, there is a convenient shuttle service to and from the beach several times a day

I absolutely love my stay here ❤️ It is the most tranquil and serene locations of all hotels in Krabi 😍 The pool view area is amazing with mountains and nature all around

The pool area is great, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They also arranged an excellent Hong Island tour for us. The room was spacious and comfortable

Had a lizard 🦎 in the room but it didnt bother us 😅 Breakfast is great with fresh fruit cuts which I love in the morning 😋 Coffee shop just around with a great coffee and other breakfast options with discount for hotel guests

Relaxing in a small pool, a baby! 1am until the streets right then in a little time ashamed of each other but the family~^^

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The location is excellent and the staff provided outstanding service. An issue with the safe was resolved immediately – within five minutes a new one was installed

I am stayed in the sunset for 3days so wonderful at the 4 floors that’s very nice I can see views of seas sides and be fresh when I open the doors to see beautiful seas and beaches and islands thank you to live that nice location next to the main road and I can go anywhere for easy life🏝️🥰👍🏻

Location of this hotel is just perfect. Just come out of the hotel and everything in nearby. Beach is hardly 5 mins walking distance. You will findlot of Indian restaurant within 5 mins walking distance

As the name of the hotel suggests, it definitely offers the best sunset view right from your room. The staff is excellent, and the rooms are clean and tidy. It has a nice small pool with a shower

Krabi was our last destination, so we chose a property close to the beach to chill and enjoy the food, and this place delivered exactly that. I will definitely recommend this place

The best location to stay is close to the bust stop, which is around 1 KM on the same road towards the beach, which is 1 m from the bust stop

The hotel per general is nice, but they was doing construction day light , all the dirt was falling in the pool

Two pools at the location with one on the roof with a view to the sunrise. One convenience shop on the property and a ATM machine. We only stayed one evening but it was good for sunset on the west and sunrise on the east

We spent 3 weeks in Thailand and this place had the best breakfast of all the places we stayed. Nice airy room, great rooftop pool and loved the monkeys roaming around. The vibe here is really cool.

The buffet breakfast was generous and varied, and our room was a good size, providing a comfortable enough base in a truly spectacular location. Overall, it served us well for a few days of beachside relaxation

This resort has some real strengths. The rooftop pool is a standout feature, offering stunning views and a great place to unwind after a day exploring Railay

First time we’ve stayed there and we were very happy with the resort, facilities and location … great location! The restaurant offers very good meals and in particular breakfast was terrific! It’s true there’s quite a few monkeys hanging around but leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone

The Hotel is located down a small street, away from the street noise of Aonang, but easy to get to both beaches and shopping/restaurants

Good looking resort, simple but good. Two pools available, a big blue one and on the other side a green one. Breakfast buffet with very good variety (even sushi), exceeded expectations compared to the thai standard

Staff was great and quite helpful, smoking area was a bit too far from the premiere rooms in the new wing which was a bit annoying as smoking is jot allowed on the terrace of the pool access rooms

There's also another entry from a different street that we were not aware of which leads directly to the pool/spa area. Room was very clean with daily towel swaps, laundry service was spot on

The hotel is wuite well positioned between the 2 beaches although the street to the lobby is a bit shady but nothing to worry about

We even got a massage complimentary. The room provided is very spacious and our balcony is connected to the pool which I like the most. The room is very clean 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hello, My vacation to the island of Koh Lanta was beyond an amazing experience. The Avani + resort is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed on all of my travels

The room was nice and clean but few niggles stopped this being full marks for me. I loved the clean room, comfortable bed and we also had an outdoor seating area which was great

On 12/10/25 I had dinner at the restaurant and my servers name was Nid. She was very welcoming and made the dinning experience exceptional. Nid was very fast and made sure everything was to my liking

Make sure to try out the BBQ (quite spicy, however excellent flavours) in “The reggae” while sipping on a nice cocktail and sunset moment

She checked in with me a good amount but not too much like some others do, it was the perfect amount

The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a beautiful view of the city/sea (adjust depending on your view)

The pool should be open with lights on until at least 9 or 10pm and there was no lifeguard manning the beach and pool

The beach is also very nice, pristine water and small island near by that can be reach by canoe kayak. Hotel has BBQ every tuesday and saturday, breakfeast is good and there is new food everyday

The chef was able to specially make vegetarian dishes for breakfast for us, and we enjoyed having breakfast overlooking the beach. Overall, we had a good experience!

Rooms were comfortable and modern, the beach was clean, and it wasn’t too far from the main city. It’s a quiet and peaceful area

We stayed for 4 nights and it was generally a good stay. We enjoyed the beach only until 430pm coz of daily low tide. Food is okay though a bit pricey

The balcony pool is rather disappointing—very small and not practical for swimming, more for looks than use. On the positive side, the bed is large, clean, and very comfortable, making the stay pleasant

Honestly, just book the Banyan Tree Krabi without hesitation. The service here, compared to the Banyan Tree Sanya, is a world apart – this one is far superior with fantastic activities

They offer Chinese-speaking services, and the coast is absolutely stunning with soft, white sands and 'jelly-like' clear waters

The location is quite remote, so it is more suitable for a relaxing staycation rather than going out for activities. Breakfast is also good and enjoyable. Overall, it was still a nice and comfortable stay experience

Nice, big and well cleaned room. Nice balcony towards the pool and ocean. Good location just a short walk from eveything you need. Poolarea needs more sunbeds and the bed is pretty firm. Paid 111 euro, would stay again

Facilities: Fitness room, 3 swimming pools, cafe, kid's corner (a big room), library corner. Room: Clean, tidy, hotel supplied hair shampoo and body shampoo, got umbrella, towels and beach bag for us carry out

You can rent a long boat from the beach and take it out to the islands. So much within walking distance made this a perfect location for us

The restaurants across the street had perfect view of the beautiful evening sunsets. We could walk to the AO Nang night market where there is entrainment and many food vendors

It was less touristy area than further up the road where the stores and restaurant's blocked the views and it appeared to be more crowed

Near the hotel has everything,restaurants ,shops ,sea,boat trips to neighbouring Islands !You can order food in the room,peace and quiet !This is a real five !!!!!!If in Krabi ,the hotel is Super,the Delight and Admiration !!!!

Great stay at Ava Sea Resort! The room was very clean, breakfast was good with nice variety, and the location is excellent-just a short walk to Ao Nang Beach.

Possibly could find better outside for less cost. The rooms are spacious but could do with some TLC. However, the hotel is in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach

Excelent breakfast (eggs - different ways, vegetables, jam, butter, bread, fruits, sausages, tradition dished - 2 or 3 each morning, different everyday). Big room, clean, the stuff was very nice

Our stay at Pakasai Resort in Krabi was truly a wonderful experience. The resort has a very special atmosphere where you genuinely feel as if you are staying in the middle of a magical forest

It was absolutely delicious delicious and also the restaurant staffs were very friendly and comforting, and the main hotel styles were great too cream specifically because she was sweet and arm and Zoe pin and hardy everyone was good and the parking is good too

Being surrounded by nature while hearing the sounds of rain, sunshine through the trees, and the forest itself creates a peaceful and unique environment. The staff were always warm, welcoming, and smiling

I had a pleasant 1 night stay in this hotel. It really looks like a palace and it has a huge area for swimming pool. The room and the interior design make us feels like a heritage room.

As for the downsides: the area around the pool looked a bit tired, and there was a slight hiccup with check-in

We were a large group and booked three rooms. We had read reviews and were prepared for the hotel not to be perfect

The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach! There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly

Location is facing beach and easily walk to Oanang Landmark which is street food and night market is there every night with life music on the beach. The o ly downside is gym is not fancy but very simple

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and pool was nice. It was a nice little oasis away from all the hustle and bustle.

Seaside and Ao Nang aren't close by, but there is a regural shutle service that worked nicely. But if you wish to spent your holiday mostly on the sea or on the shopping street, this might not be your place

While the property itself is beautiful with lovely surroundings and a large pool, the staff were quite direct, almost rude, when we arrived early despite having emailed ahead

Like most reviewers I loved staying here. My King bed cabin was spacious, very clean, super comfortable, and private. Also loved the large tub + outdoor themed shower area

You will need a moped or transport to access restaurants & activities, but for us being just 10 minutes moped ride away from the hustle & bustle is definitely a bonus! Would highly recommend & very happily stay here again & for longer next time!😊

A Perfect Peaceful Escape — Highly Recommended (from Canadian travelers!) We stayed 6 nights at Leelawadee Garden Resort in Krabi, and it was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Thailand

So it’s not a typical beach hotel with white long sand beaches and crystal blue water. We rented a scooter and went to other beaches for swimming

Such a beautiful, well preserved, tastefully decorated hotel! Located on one of the best beaches of the island, providing easy access to the sea and also offering two decent sized pools

The location was amazing, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and Long beach was pretty quiet with amazing blue waters

We also opted to do the private boat tour to Koh Rok and Koh Haa islands, this was amazing and so worth the money - would definitely recommend. Thanks to all the staff for making it so memorable
