Anyavee Railay Resort in Railay Beach

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this 'jungle cabin'! I don't really understand why the reviews are so negative, but I think it is important to adjust expectations. Railay is quite expensive compared to the rest of Thailand, and this is really a 'budget' option for Railay. If you choose this accommodation, you choose budget. If you choose a 'hilltop' hotel, you also know that you can expect stairs ;-). We had a beautiful view over the mountains. The room is basic, but with well-functioning air conditioning and everything was nice and clean. The shower was indeed above the toilet, but that is often the case in budget accommodations in Thailand and not a disaster as far as we are concerned. A bit adventurous right! We had a great time, it's nice that the hotel is also above 'the last bar', there is a good restaurant and close to Spider climbing. I would simply return here!

To be honest the hotel was a real value for money. For what we paid for we got a nice chalet with air conditioning and hot water. The room was equipped with a television and a mini bar.

Pretty neat place, we paid for superior room but were upgraded to a bungalow bc of low season.
The bungalows here were spacious, with a very big bathroom. With wooden walls ( not flimsy straw like others) mini fridge and TV as well.
The only negative would be the shower, not a lot water coming out of the shower head.
Breakfast was simple but fine.
Beach towels were provided at front desk.
Located on the east side , 5 min walk from the floating Pier .
Only 10 min walk to the West side ( better side).
The walking Street that connects both sides is full of cool restaurants,very crowded at night.
If you need to leave the island through the West side to Ao nang they also have the bell boy take your bags on the cart ,50 bath per bag .

Overall a very good,clean and comfortable stay!
