Reviews
The location is great, right between Sousse and Monastir. A taxi to either city costs around 20–40 dinars one way, and there’s plenty to see around.
The beach is beautiful — sandy, clean, and well maintained. The hotel staff help every morning with mattresses and sunbeds, and the beach is cleaned daily. The water is shallow and clear, with no rubbish around.
The pool area is also very nice. There’s space for both kids and adults, and I really liked that one part is 2 meters deep, so you can actually swim properly.
As for the entertainment — that’s where things really need improvement. Daily activities were almost non-existent, and the music felt like something from a dance party for 70-year-olds (probably because most of the guests were of that age 😄). In the evenings, absolutely nothing was happening — sometimes there wasn’t even any music at all. It felt quite dull.
When it comes to food, I honestly don’t understand the complaints I’ve seen online. Sure, breakfast options are limited if you don’t eat bread or pastries ( which is plenty of) , but lunch and dinner were great — lots of fruits, vegetables, and delicious meat / fish dishes. For a 3-star hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised.
Regarding drinks, the all-inclusive package includes wine, beer, and local spirits. I didn’t try the wine or beer, but unfortunately the local alcohol is very weak and hard to drink. It didn’t help that the bartenders were extremely stingy with pouring — you’d get a drop of alcohol in a glass full of cola. Even after asking several times, it didn’t change, so we ended up buying our own bottles from shop in Monastir. I could go to the bar 50 times a night, but that would just mean drinking 48 glasses of cola 😅.
The staff overall were lovely — polite, friendly, and helpful.
The only real downside was the cleanliness of the glasses — they were definitely not properly washed, just rinsed quickly, which we saw ourselves a few times. We solved this by buying our own cups.
All in all, I would definitely come back if I wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday without loud evening parties.
Perfect place for peaceful holidays — not for party lovers.
Also I recommend to choose your room not in the main building but in the second one cause it’s further away from any noise that can happen from other tourists staying and drinking at the bar which is open until 12 am btw.
Overall for a cheap holiday I recommend it 100%
The hotel is small and quiet.
The service is good.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and the towels were changed every day.
The food was tasty with many choices of meat, fish, and other dishes.
Breakfast had very good pastries and cakes.
Drinks were available all the time.
The beach is right next to the hotel.
The location is very good, between the city of Sousse and Monastir.
Food wasnt great overall but breakfast was good, worth getting out of bed for and no problems with the all inclusive drinks. They do charge for bottles of water which I found odd in a country where they tell U the tap water is not drinkable. Everywhere else iv stayed have provided free drinkable water.
Beach was close and nice and sandy but lots of sea debris, rubbish and jellyfish on beach.
Animation team worked so hard, definitely would've been a boring holiday without them.
- - The behaviour of some people of the restaurant staff (head chef, kitchen manager)/ no professionalism - The room was uncomfortable because of the humidity smell (absence of airing for a long time) - The lock on the room door was damaged and there were some difficulties to open/close it( reported but it was not repaired)
We had a family room with a door between and a wonderful view to the sea. Perfect. And we had two balconies with one of them in a huge size. The hotel has 3 stars and we knew that we can’t expect any luxury. But especially the bathroom has to be renovated.
We booked "All Inclusive" and could eat more than 3 times a day. The staffs at the restaurant were friendly and quite lovely to talk with. The meals were nearly different every day and you can choose several things from the salad buffet. They bake fresh pizza and other things like grilled meat. You can take different things from the dessert buffet and also get several non-alcoholic drinks or even wine. But you don’t get a clean table or clean glasses every time. We often had to ask for several things like glasses or cutlery.
We didn’t do any trips, but your tour guides offers many things like sailing with a pirate ship or do a quad tour. Next to the pool there is a “wellness area”. You will definitely meet a friendly man and woman who offer good massages, hairdresser or cosmetic applications. Please try it – you will be more relaxed! And even on the beach there are some people who offer different fun sports like paragliding or jet skiing. At the low season you have a big choice getting a lounger. You needn’t to reserve them early in the morning. Still the same at the pool. The beach has fine-grain sand and the water is refreshing. At the beach bar you can get some drinks, but not for free. If you are an “All inclusive” guest you have to catch your drinks at the hotel bar. That’s not a good idea.
The pool needs refurbishment. We found countless tiles on the ground. You will find a tiny pool for children with a little water slide. Not a big deal. Many children and even the adults will love the big 3 slides. You can have really big fun with them.
At our holiday there was no kids club, just one time painting things on the children faces. That was really sad. And the playground I do not have to mention.
We enjoyed our free days only because of the guys of the animation team Sam, Tito and DJo. They filled our days and evenings with lots of fun and great talks. They tried to do their best with less material to wake up the guests to move a little bit at French balls, darts, water aerobics or water polo. And they don’t annoy you, are always friendly and speak many different languages. Probably more than other person at the hotel. Sometimes we felt a little bit sad because most of the guests didn’t want to visit the evening shows which the animation team prepared. So it can be really boring. But mostly they did a mini disco, which those kids who stayed at the hotel this moment loved to do. They often stay in contact with all tourists and always smile, making them laugh and enjoy the time. We think they need much more support especially with equipment. Because they are the first contact persons for every guest of asking question.
BUT: there was a thing that destroyed our good feelings. The security kicked us out two times to go into our rooms and not sitting at the reception in the evening. We didn’t make any loud screams or other things. We only sat there and talked to the animation team. How unfriendly and unprofessional is this? You can’t sit at the lobby in the evening? We couldn’t talk to the security for asking “why” because lack of language. And the receptionist got angry saying things that aren’t real. The animation team tried to solve the problem because nobody knew what we made wrong. This happened at our last 2 days before leaving. Not a great happy end.
We think there are things which have to be clarified. And also unprofessional staff has to go and get terminated.
