Where to stay in Tunis

Good location, friendly reception and clean rooms. The only reason im not giving 5 stars is room was two separate beds but when we arrived they said they only had a room with one bed so we had to stay in one bed. Breakfast was ok too. If you are gonna spend a few days in tunisia this is a good choice.

The hotel is clean and the service is decent. However, the breakfast could be improved as it's a bit basic. On two occasions, we asked for help and advice on how to get a taxi, and were told to just go out into the street and find one ourselves. The hotel is really well located at the entrance to the Medina. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good if you like Tunisian-style. The shower needs some work as the shower head would not stay up (my father’s room was the same). Otherwise a good stay. Will be back later in the week.

It's close to the airport, making it quite convenient for getting around. The name is easy to remember (surprisingly, this is a plus? I loved staying here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely and big. Bathroom included a bathtub. Very clean, and highly friendly staff towards my Goth Wife and her Goth friend. Beds were very comfortable. Free Breakfast was reasonable, various options of coffee or juice. Only down side is the lack of an Elevator. If you are Alternative this place is a good choice. All staff were friendly, desk, cook, and housekeeping are all welcoming. Only 3 staff shockingly it seems.

The receptionist was extremely judgy as I was looking a bit tired and disheveled after a 10 hour road trip to Tunisia. I wanted to extend my stay but they told me they were fully booked. Hotel's location is perfect but the staff is a bit standoffish. Anyhow, here's a picture of my dog

The Novotel is clean, dependable, quiet, and peaceful. The sheets always feel clean, the shower has good pressure and temperature, the breakfast is nice, and we always feel relaxed there.

I feel homy staying at Dar Ya, breakfast is good, service and front desk officer are kind. The location is around tourism corner, Medina, so it is near to Mosque, Suk Medina, and Bab El Bahr by walking 400m along Rue Sidi ben Arous.

The guest house is very nice but without private bathroom. During booking, this information was hidden and was not available at first glance. I needed to click twice + scroll down to see this important information. So this was a bad surprise to find out that there were only shared bathrooms.
