Excellent hotel, great location, ample parking. The restaurant is open 24 hours, which is great. The rooms are warm and comfortable. They're great for children. The breakfast is varied and delicious. This isn't our first time staying here.

Best Ski experience anyone can ask for. Direct access to great ski. The facilities are amazing especially the gym, Adem is great and his ability to speak English well is a great asset for someone like myself who doesn’t speak Turkish.

Had an absolutely outstanding stay at the Balsoy. Really enjoyed being close to the center of Erzurum, but far enough from the city center enjoy a peaceful mountain setting. The accommodations were top notch, and the breakfast buffet was expansive. Our daughter (2 year old) loved the cozy lobby. Finally Mr Emrah was an outstanding host and told us a lot about Erzurum and the surrounding area.
I spent 8 days at the Balsoy hotel in Palandoken. The location is perfect and all the areas of the hotel are very comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and I want to leave a special thanks to Mr. Emrah, who was so kind to go to the village to buy me a drug that I needed and was super friendly and available during my all stay. Definitely recommended.

Everything's fine except for smoking. If you book a smoking room, there's no balcony, the window opens only a little, there are locking devices, and there's no ventilation. If you smoke, be prepared to live in a fog. If you book a non-smoking room, it will still smell of tobacco smoke, as there's no ventilation, and smoke from smokers will still reach you through the hallway.

Decent hotel, clean, served the purpose for a 1 night stay.
Lovely hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and had a balcony. Only thing the bed was on the sinking side. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to cafes/restaurants. Very busy area. Hotel has free limited parking out the front and free street parking.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Good breakfast.
This was very good hotel for the price. It's at the city center and easy walk to the tourist sites. Breakfast was very good with rich selection. Only downside was lack of air conditioner. It was very hot in the room. If had known about it, we would have left the window open when we went out for dinner. It was noisy when we opened the window, so we had to choose between heat and noise to sleep.

Great place, excellent value for price. Phenomenal staff and excellent breakfast.
For budget hotels in the area, you can't expect too much, but the sheets should at least be clean. Breakfast was decent. The heating was on late, but still quite strong.
It's fine for an overnight stay. A good early breakfast and then we're off.
It's a bit of a walk to the tourist spots, but it's a very affordable place to stay. The bus stop from Otogar is within walking distance, so even though we arrived late at night, the journey was smooth.
Excellent decently priced hotel. It is walking distance to the city center (20 minutes) and 5 minutes from the famous street with cag kebap restaurants. The rooms are good, clean, with bathroom. The only downside is that you don't have a fridge in the room and you should put your things in the big fridge in the breakfast room. Breakfast is open buffet and you can eat well in the morning. Staff is nice...
The hotel room facilities are a bit dated and need some improvement. In particular, it would be nice if the bed mattresses were replaced with cotton bedding that could be changed daily. There's no air conditioning, but even in late July, the local weather wasn't too hot, so I didn't feel the need. The hotel's biggest selling point is its breakfast. Really good experience, they have shuttle service to Polandoken. Food is good and room service not so expensive. Didn’t try the pool but it looks good
The purpose of our trip was skiing. There's a shuttle to the mountain, and there's a wonderful lounge where you can get your skis and ski passes, relax, and have a meal. The staff and service are excellent. Regarding the hotel: it's located next to a large shopping center, but if you want to explore the city and walk around, you'll need to go. This isn't a problem; you can call a taxi at reception...
Beautiful contemporary design located next to large park and one of Turkey’s nicest new malls. The rooms are large and comfortable, the fitness center and spa are nice, breakfast was delicious, and staff hospitable. Would definitely stay again
The hotel is perfect in terms of location and cleanliness, just a little salty :)
The room smelled of cigarettes and had not been aired. The shower water was not very hot. Other than that, it was comfortable.
In the city center and within walking distance to Erzurum's largest shopping mall (300 meters) You can go to the ski resort in just 12 minutes, there is a shuttle from the hotel every day at 10:00 and 11:00. Breakfast and meals are very good
