Ibrahim Bey Hotel in Fethiye

Stayed at this wonderful hotel recently, they tried their best to get us checked in as soon as possible due to arriving early . The day time receptionist Nilüfar was exceptionally helpful with any issue we had and made the stay the most pleasant. All the staff were wonderful including the night receptionist suliman and as well as the manager . The breakfast buffet was all fresh and wonderful. I definitely recommend staying here .

Excellent location run by lovely people. Nice pool . Sea views amazing. Clean rooms . Beds abit hard and no lift but staff carried our very heavy cases! Turkish breakfast had large selection . Although on the beach was quiet and relaxing. Family friendly

We have just stayed at the Ibrahim bey hotel What a lovely friendly place The staff were lovely we stayed bed and breakfast (traditional Turkish breakfast) The room we were on was on the top floor with a sea view two bedrooms and 3 good sized balcony s The views are fantastic But if you are older people I would suggest a lower floor as there is no lift Have to admit it was worth the climb for the stunning views We ate and drank in the hotel bar And ate out in callis quite a lot The pool was lovely In all I would recommend the hotel and would visit again

We arrived very late at night and were met by a very friendly man on reception. He informed us that he had chosen to move our room to give my rather large 11 year old son a proper bed rather than a sofa bed, which we were very grateful for. Unfortunately, this meant that we lost our sea view room. As we were staying only one night, this wasn’t really an issue.

Our room was fine, but we found the beds very hard, the pillows were lumpy and we had what seemed like a single sheet on the double bed. So not the best sleep.

Breakfast. As it was out of season we were informed that the normal buffet wasn’t available, which was understandable so instead we were offered a very reasonable plated Turkish breakfast and a basket of bread. No water offered but there was a tea and coffee hot water urn for us to help ourselves to.
We enjoyed eating this on the terrace, feeling the warmth of the early morning sun on us.

After breakfast we cut through to the promenade and had a quick walk along the seafront before making our journey on to Kalkan for the next few days. The hotel is perfectly placed.

As another reviewer has said, you get 5 stars only when you pay for 5. The IbrahimBey is rated 3 star and in my experience, is punching above its weight. The main reason is the staff. Ali the manager is friendly and helpful and speaks good english. The rest of the staff, although only having a few words of english, try their best to greet you in english - which is charming. There's a lovely, friendly vibe about the place that you don't always find in a hotel.

We had a lovely week's stay at this hotel in July last year. The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially the daytime receptionist and barman) and were great with advice and tips. The rooms were very clean. There were a couple of minor issues with the toilet and something else, but these were dealt with very quickly when reported. We had a room facing over the sea and beach and we had fabulous views of sunsets over the sea every evening. On this stretch of beach, there are many restaurants to choose from, all overlooking the beach and sunsets and all in walking distance. There is a restaurant at the hotel but although good, didn't have a wide variety of food to choose from.

October is a perfect time to visit Fethiye, and this hotel is a great choice. The reasonable fee includes a nice breakfast (traditional Turkish, or something else if you want.) Our room had a balcony that overlooked the beach as well as the walkway that parallels the beach. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was use-friendly. There are plenty of electrical outlets, and the internet is reliable. There is also a gleamingly clean pool on the road side of the hotel. I noticed it has slides and other kid-friendly stuff. The staff is professional while also being friendly. They speak Turkish and perfect English. (Maybe other languages, but I don't know.) They answered our questions and provided recommendations and information. They told us summer is extremely busy during June, July, August, and most of September, so you should reserve early if you want to go then. If you want a quieter experience, May and late September to October are good. One issue of which to be aware (this has nothing to do with the hotel) is that the chairs and umbrellas on the beach are rented by the city (the cost helps maintain the beach.) There is only one sign about this that I could see. This year the cost is 110 lira. The officials come around with a machine that provides a receipt. Don't pay any other person. You can avoid paying the fee by putting your towel and other equipment on the sand without using the umbrella or chairs. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with a variety of choices (i.e. Chinese, Turkish, Italian, Indian.) There are grocery stores and stores where you can buy items you might have forgotten. The prices were very reasonable. I'm not sure if the prices increase during the summer months. When we return to Fethiye, we will return to this hotel. We were very happy with our choice.
