Gunes Hotel Fethiye in Fethiye

Just back from a week stay, wasnt sure what to expect but had a great time.

Rooms are somewhat basic but you do get what you pay for, though the air con and mini fridge were a great touch.
Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room as would have liked to sit on the balcony and relax

Cleaning isnt of best standard (we moved a bed and found a greeting card from what we assume was the previous guests) but did visit most days to change towels and linen was changed mid week

We loved the Turkish breakfast, nice choice, lovely and fresh.. particularly liked the rabbit bread and honey

Bar was great...always a warm welcome. Could order food at the bar that came from the hotel restaurant and it was nice. Decent portion, tasty and fresh. Cant say more than that

Pool was well kept and looked after, perfect after having a few minutes in the sun (a tad too hot in July for us...we melted lol)
My children enjoyed seeing the stray kittens and visiting hedgehog

Definitely would go back as can't fault the staff and hospitality

Everything we wanted in a hotel, we weren't looking for 5 star luxury, we wanted a comfortable and clean room, a nice pool, friendly staff and a great location for a good price.
We got all that.
The reception were very good when we checked in, and always helped if we needed it.
The room was clean, with a nice shower.
Breakfast was basic Turkish (you are in turkey) with a chef cooking fried, scrambled or omelette.
Oktays bar served great snacks at a good price, and the beer is as cheap as anywhere in the area.
And you are 1 minute from the beach and 5 minutes from the main street.
Enjoyed it so much, we've already booked to go back later this year.

Rooms basic but is a 3 star but more than adequate as qe spent all day by/in the pool and the bar!
Everyone, staff and clients all very friendly and extremely helpful.
Lots of other guests have been there many times. Just shows.
Hotel restaurant brilliant and helped me and my husband every day as we have medical problems.
Plus the waiter who took me to A&E!! Thanks ❤

The rooms are a bit dated. But are clean and cosy. We had a sea view room and it was ideal to view the sunset. Breakfast was good. The omelette man was a star 👍 Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar and pool area is great. We were here October 2022.

Rooms are basic but clean.
The hotel is ideal it’s on the seafront and within easy reach of all restaurants and bars.
The pool and pool area are clean we never had a problem with sun beds or umbrellas.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating special mention to Allan on the bar he is funny and friendly he made our holiday .
I would definitely stay here again

Nice little in the years come Hotel. The predominantly English guests are mostly regulars. The friendly English - and German-speaking staff and the kitchen do a good Job. The location of the hotel can only be described as outstanding. Directly on the beach and still very quiet. As the small defects I saw, the few (5) Ironing, and the complete lack of shelves in the large closet. So the half that remained in the suitcase!

A simple but well run hotel with helpful and friendly staff especially Octi behind the bar. The hotel is very clean throughout and the buffet style meals are more than acceptable. It sits right on the promenade across which is the beach.

Our Second visit to the Gunes pronounced GUN ESS,its a little gem,clean tidy and lovely staff found it with Jet 2 last year and decided to go back again on 18 Sept 2017. We only do B&B and the breakfast was ample,its right on the beach lots going on in Cali's,water taxi or Dolmus to Fethiye and beyond,launch yourself from the Gunes you will be delighted and the BROTHERS will be returning

What a lovely little hotel this is very friendly lovely rooms food exelent great location right by the beach defentley going back in fact have already booked for next year
