Munamar Park in Icmeler

Booked with love holidays and this hotel is closed down absolutle shocking that you can still book it to be honest, put a dampener on the start of the holidays but we found a lovely little gem casa blanca right on the sea front would highly recommend. They tried to put us in munamar beach too big and over crowded and not the hotel that I had booked. Will be getting in contact with love holidays and I think it's shocking you can still book a hotel that isn't operating at all.

We’re booked into munamar park hotel, however this hotel is not open and is a facility for staff only currently. We were moved to munamar beach hotel its sister hotel couple hundred meters from the entrance, even then shuttle driver was confused as to why it wasn’t open. The first night the WiFi didn’t work as a young adult on his first night abroad I couldn’t phone home to inform my parents of my safe arvival which was very distressing. The elevator was barely operational the staff member who showed us to our room took 10 minutes to operate it and we have avoided it like the plague for the rest of the trip.One we got to the room its was unclean cold and unimpressive. The room was small ill-equipped, and out dated. The air con would only heat the room so pretty much useless. Food was hit and miss at best, nothing Labled not allergy warnings. Pools were cold and dirty. There was little to no options when it came to drinks, half of the spirits aren’t on the all inclusive deal, I was more than willing to pay for branded drinks I recognised but was told no due to the fact they only have local spirits and nothing else. Out of season there is no entertainment however we expected this and planned accordingly. Some cleaners went above and beyond to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of our room, however most cleaners would only clean service messes and would leave the ash tray and bins full, towels and sheets are only changed every 3 days, we constantly had to request toilet paper and would reuse towels from showers and pools for 3 days and on the last few days they weren’t changed at all. During the night, the locals drive past with incredibly loud cars, as a car lover it’s enjoyable during the day however at night time it can be hard to sleep due to the single glazing on the balcony was no where near enough. On a lighter note, Staff couldn’t be more friendly. They went above and beyond what i had thought was possible. They ordered us a taxi, guided us abound the town and told us the places that were worth visiting. The view from the balcony was incredible, could stare at the mountains for hours and would not be board. All in all terrible holiday would not come again even if it was free. Would try belek or somewhere around Antalya.

Never known so much to be wrong with a hotel. The rooms was not cleaned once on visit, and the bed sheet felt like you were sleeping under a thin towel. Even when you had a shower (which was hanging off and didn’t run very well) you still felt dirty. They let someone else into our room at 3.30 am in the morning and we had no apology. We arrived at the hotel at 6.30 am (after being dropped at the wrong hotel might I add) had a meeting at 9am which we slept through and did not attend, the tour rep collared us by the pool later and would not leave us alone, he was rude, demanding and argumentative. On our first day, we got told we had to move hotels the day before our last day as the hotel was shutting, the morning of the move we made our way to breakfast after packing our suitcases to be told we didn’t have to move anymore. Whilst on the subject of food, we had to attend a different hotel for drinks and food - it was only a few mins walk away however wasn’t the point. The variety of food available was absolutely absismil - not much range and the same food at lunch/dinner every day. Oh and there’s no toaster in the mornings for breakfast, what hotel does not have a toaster?! The all inclusive drinks available was very limited, no cocktails and no list of what you can and can not have. If you kept stuff in the fridge in your room, it wouldn’t stay cold because the fridge would only work when the electric key (attatched to the room key) is in the socket. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, the only upside to staying at this hotel was the pool was quiet and could always get a sunbed!

Munamar park hotel in Marmaris Turkey is part of the Munamar beach resort club. There are two separate hotels about 100 meters apart from each other. Three of us stayed at Munamar park hotel for 7 nights, All inclusive. It’s just a hotel with a pool not a resort at all. Advertised as a 3 star resort but in reality it’s a 1 star hotel at best and far from being a resort. Pros: Staff were friendly but didn’t speak much English. Location was just a few mins from beach and very close to shops and restaurants. There was a Mosque within 10 mins walk which was ideal. Room had a balcony with a decent view. Cons: No restaurant at the hotel, had to go 100 meters to Munamar beach club hotel for all meals which was a pain. Swimming pool opened at 9am so for us it was pretty useless, as we were early risers and wanted a swim before breakfast, 7am. Room was big but outdated. Air con was very poor and did not do the job. Small fridge in room but not very cold. No kettle or iron in room. No Aircon in the lobby sitting area. Extremely bad wifi in rooms and lobby. Bathroom dark and outed with things falling off walls. Although the food was a buffet for breakfast , lunch and dinner, the variety not so great and things finished fast and took time to replace, so need to be there early. Had to check if properly cooked, especially meat. Very hot in restaurant , Air con too small to do the job. The food was not clearly labelled, No real allergy labels on food, no mention of what meats were in the food etc All in all the holiday was good and Marmaris is a nice place and lots to do there but the hotel experience was in a word “RUBBISH” We would not stay there again even if it were free and would say it’s a 1 star hotel at best no way close to being a resort, avoid it if you can and don’t fall for the false advertising and lies of travel agents.

Avoid like the plague!!! this is not even a 1 star hotel, the whole place is absolutely filthy, i travel for work at home so stay in many different places but i have never stayed in anything so bad!! the pool is filthy the chairs and sunbeds are old dirty and broken. it was that bad i paid a further £820.00 to change hotel an "on the beach" who we booked with would not answer any calls.......DO NOT book your holiday with "ON THE BEACH" they take your money and leave you to deal with the mess as you cannot contact them after you have left the country. So disappointed. Arrived early hours of the morning and SENT to our room. Not shown, given directions. Found the room very dated and tatty. Mini fridge but no supplies( if you qnt anything for your fridge had to go to sister hotel ( 200 yards down the road) the same for y9 our all inclusive meals and entertainment . It advertises SAFE in the room. Which they don't. Coffee was the other end of the pool in small paper cups. No kettle in rooms. Air con was warm. Husband complained and had us moved to sister hotel. More modern . Staff were lovely. Food was mediocre. Catered more for foriegners. Food only served at meal times when it advertisers snack bar. Never saw our rep( on the beach). Sorry will 9 not be using again. We been many times to marmaris/icmeler this is the worst experience we have ever had.....

Well we’ll we’ll!! After booking and paying for our holiday with 3 grandchildren we then sat back and eagerly waited for the holiday to come around!! Then started noticing the reviews on this hotel! Two days before we arrived I tried to check with by ringing the hotel as I’d read it was closed??? One the beach holidays weren’t the greatest of help or the hotel staff? As when I asked are you actual open for business the kept saying “one moment please”??? Stupid I know! Anyway we arrived at daft o clock in a morning one staff member who wasn’t the brightest spark gave us our rooms on different floors,? We did insist we wanted two rooms if possible on the same floor it eventually happened on the third day! So hear goes! you don’t eat at this hotel or get snacks of any kind at this hotel at all you eat all your meals when all inclusive down the road at Munamar beach hotel wich was a pain as you got hassled by the restaurant owners and shop keepers as you were going for all your meals! The food???? Hmmm! Odd bits were ok mostly catered for Russians and Turks on holiday me n the mrs hardly ate there but the kids always managed to find something they liked untill the third day and our 12 yr old grandson got terrible food poisoning! Wich could have been the food or the pool water as in all the time we were there you never saw anyone test the water or add any chemicals to it? The rooms? Very basic but manageable don’t expect the ritz or you would be crackers! Hotel staff pleasant and helpfull room cleaned very well pity about stained tiles on walls and floors could do with a makeover but basically this hotel is an overspill hotel from Munamar beach hotel is wasn’t opened to long before we arrived so who ever said it wasn’t open was correct! All in all I wouldn’t go all inclusive again and to be honest I doubt I’d ever go to turkey again I was last there 20 years ago and is was amazing! this time it’s all about the money! Hassled in the streets, hassled on trips (for extras? Everything’s 100tl even for the smallest tray of hard French fries) nothing gave me the wow factor! Jesus beach looks amazing on photos but they don’t show you the Turks wanting your cash all around the place, the waterfall where you could swim? Sorry you can’t “swim in it it’s less than 1.5ft deep and very rocky looks nice but so is many places in Derbyshire with natural waterfalls! Was no big deal! Sorry for going off the review there but felt angry that this holiday cost over 3k then we spent money on new holiday clothes and passports for grandkids I reckon this holiday to a basic hotel all inclusive cost us around 5k in total with all the little bits and wasnt worth a fiver, The food In cafes and restaurants isn’t cheap it’s as expensive as the uk fags and booze are cheap and counterfeit clothing but everything about this holiday in my opinion was total garbage! Go to Greece or Spain stay clear and as for on the beach holidays who we’ve used now for years YOU REALLY LET US DOWN
