Doors Urla Hotel & Bungalows in Izmir

We stayed in the Begonvil room for one night on February 1st, 2025. Initially, everything looked nice upon entering the room, but we experienced problems with the lighting system in the evening. When we called reception, an electrician was sent to the room at midnight, stating that it was due to a problem with the main lines and that nothing could be done. Because the room was very large, we had difficulty heating it; one of the air conditioners wasn't working, and the heating system was insufficient. Despite informing the lady who informed us about these issues via message, she didn't respond and didn't even ask us a question about the situation, except for the minibar usage, upon check-out. The hotel also has parking problems. The entrance is a steep hill, and only two cars can park at a time. If that section is full when you arrive by car, you have to back up the hill. In short, I had high hopes for the hotel based on the pictures and its location next to The Guru restaurant. If you book breakfast included, your breakfast is served at The Guru restaurant, and everything was very nice there, but the same cannot be said for the hotel itself. It was a complete disappointment for me.
