The gem of this Hotel, however, is it's staff. The woman who worked the front desk during the day, Phyllis, was one of the nicest I have come across in any Hotel. The guy running things during the day, Aaron, made every effort to make our stay as nice as possible. The other staff members couldn't speak much English or German, so our communication was limited, but you could see by their friendly facial expressions that they were very open and generous people who really cared about their guests. Normally, when we stay in 5 Star Hotels, the staff is very friendly, but at the same time a bit phony. Here, in the Alkan Hotel, there was not a hint of fakeness, but just genuine friendliness.
- WiFi’s wasn’t working good , in room it didn’t work but in lobby it was ok ,
