Hotel alkan.i found it to be very good. My room was at the front looking over the main road. I was on the sixth floor overlooking the mountains in the background. I also could see the aqua park up in the hills.what a fantastic view i had.i found the maids very nice and pleasant. The only thing that was not and could be improved was the breakfast.it was plain.small selection of food and Turkish food. But you get what you pay for. Fabulous location.shops.bars .restaurants on the doorstep.overall.great holiday location. Pool good.pool bar very basic. No draught beers

I recently stayed at Alkan Hotel, and I was quite disappointed with my experience. One of the first things I noticed was the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of my room. It was evident that the rooms were not well-maintained; there was dirt in several corners and the furnishings felt old and worn out. This detracted significantly from my comfort during my stay.
Additionally, I encountered rude staff members, which further marred my experience at the hotel. Instead of the warm and welcoming service one would expect, I was met with indifference and impatience. Overall, my stay at Alkan Hotel did not meet my expectations, and I would hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a pleasant and clean -.

The hotel is good. Can’t say that it was clean at all. But the staff was extremely helpful.
Rooms are dated, the fridge barely worked. AC was working, luckily. First night we got into a room on the side of the noisy road.
I had a sleepless night because of the noise. Even the earplugs didn’t help.
Next morning, I asked for a room change at the reception. To my surprise, they allowed us to change the room with no charge and we got a room facing the pool.
The new room wasn’t much cleaner, but I was thankful for the swap anyways and finally could sleep.
In general, the staff was extremely helpful and kind. They helped us with all the requests.
As for the location, the hotel is quite far from the center. If you’re into staying at the hotel by the pool, you’ll be fine.

I've just got back from pleasant stay at the Alkan. It's located on a busy road, one block back from beach, with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. We were road side, but didn't experience any noise. Breakfast is limited, but I was quite happy with toast & coffee. The pool area is nice and the rooms are clean, if a little dated. Reception & bar staff were lovely & friendly.

Definitely recommend this hotel if you love getting discriminated against and treated like animals. They wanted to check us in at 5pm instead of 2pm and said: "If you don't like it you can simply cancel the reservation". Upon contacting the travel agency they gave us a room on time but had problems with the ac and phone. Additionally we had to beg each time we wanted the room to be cleaned or needed fresh towels. Moreover, each time the cleaner gave us towels she would yell at us in Turkish which we didn't understand.
Very rude and racist staff, if you are Lebanese definitely don't come here.

Stayed for 9 nights from the 31/8 , staff very pleasant, room okay , breakfast reasonable , i enjoyed the evening meals at the hotel. Pool area okay but there where quite a few sunbed grabbers staying, Area of town the hotel is in was a bit busy for me , a lot of fake clothing shops and bars catering for the English , i preferred the town centre,
