Where to stay in Ankara

The location was ideal for the main railway station. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel was generally ok. Good sized room. Desk, wardrobe and fridge. The bathroom was in reasonable condition with soap dispensers for shampoo etc. The self service breakfast had a good selection of food including cooked items. The WiFi worked well. Some wear and tear in the room. Cleanliness is a bit lacking...

Excellent hotel and very quiet very reasonable price with breakfast which was really great even i came in the morning 5am ,staff was very helpful and provide all services at this cost I really advise you to prefer this hotel because my expererince was great and i enjoyed my whole stay here.thanks to All staff.

The service was excellent, and the hotel has its own restaurant. Breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but lunch and dinner were quite reasonably priced.

rooms are old, the entire hotel is old, it doesn't look like the photos, and it is really bad service. As soon as we got in, they were giving us side eye's and a bad attitude it says that it's kid friendly, but I don't really agree with that breakfast was 5/10. No Cereal, omleat, and the options are pretty tight there are no juices just water tea and coffee which is ok but not kid friendly the air...

A+ highly recommend! I enjoyed my stay at the King Hotel! Comfortable and clean, and a terrific traditional breakfast. Staff was friendly and went the extra mile. Pool looked beautiful but I didn’t have time. Highly recommend!

Four nights for business trip Really nice to stay in a Turkish hotel rather than a "bog standard" chain. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the drive to the airport at the end was a fair price and when I needed it. Location is quiet and safe yet within easy walking distance of lots of great restaurants and pubs. Breakfast is basic but wholesome and eating it on the patio by the pool an ideal...

Wonderful staff and location and that's the only reason I gave it 4 starts, otherwise the hotel needs a lot of attention. Rooms are old they need some upgrades. We had issue with the heating and they staff swapped the rooms for us, but they provided us with an electric heater which isn't very safe. I would say focus a bit more on the rooms quality.

Great hotel with pool, very friendly staff and good restaurant!

The room was typical, functional with things not properly repaired. Our tub leaked waster all over the floor. The air conditioner was a joke, nonexistent. 31 in Ankara, and the room was, too, even with the a/c on full blast. Breakfast was amazing, with a great spread of food, and the lady kept it well stocked.

Comfortable rooms, great free breakfast, walking distance to the square, friendly staff. Although limited car parking, the hotel staff helps to get the car parked.

This was our second time there. We always feel very comfortable. However, the bathroom and wardrobe are starting to need updating; they're showing their age.

Good location, reception staff was very helpful. However, there was NO coffee with the morning breakfast, neither was there any juice. Also, on 2 days we were told there was no water bottles at breakfast table.

The guy at the front desk is very enthusiastic. Although the room is a bit old, it is overall clean. There is a subway downstairs (although I always take a taxi when I go out 😂). The only thing worth complaining about is that I live on the 7th floor, and the wifi in the room is too bad🙃

I really love this place from my first day. The staff is welcomed and very kind. They respect clients. Rooms are good and the technology is on point with theirs rooms. Free WiFi, breakfast and lunch. Love to stay here and get more experience with such as kind persons. Love you Gimat Otel.

Pro: Good location. Polite, helpful staff. There are older and freshly renovated rooms. The beds are comfortable. The equipment is acceptable. Moderate prices. Contra: This room does not have an electric kettle and a working fridge. The temperature of the hot water varies from moment to moment between hot and ice cold. Breakfast is boring after several days. Internet speeds are closer to useless.

It is comfy and tidy, the bad things there is no secure box in room and I could hear noises from other rooms,overall good.around hotel there are malls and restaurants.

Not the best experience. Lights in the room were bad and most not working, Kettle was broken and even the chair was not usable. There was a constant cigarette smell.

I stayed for one night with my family. The hotel room was relatively small but clean. The hotel is in walking distance to many consulates and embassies. Its location is a very vibrant place with cafes and clubs so it was hard to find a place to park our car. However the staff helped us to find one.

Spotted on a very busy and famous street. Stuffs are kind. Prices are good. They got a parking lot but for only small cars. (I mean biggest vans can not enter) Their area are hard for free parking but it's a luck. They got cozy rooms and smoke is not prohibited. Wi-Fi is not bad. Breakfast is little poor but enough for hotel guests. They have got a cafeteria in front of the hotel.

We came this place with recomment of my fruend. We had massage and turkish bath... their massage, personels and all place was soo cool. We had great time with my friends. Thank you so much everybody who works here.

We regularly come to Ankara with our family, and since we arrived late at night, we couldn't find a room at our contracted hotel. We called the Century Park Hotel, which we found on Google, at 1:00 AM. The lady at the reception looked after us warmly and professionally, despite the late hour. The cleanliness and room temperature at the hotel are excellent for the region. The service was excellent...

We are going to get massages from almost all the neighbors, gym, baths, swimming pool, at least once a week. They put us in touch with both humble and very experienced employees. Our fitness teacher, Mr. Mukhteshem, and his physiotherapist friends were very helpful. I would say, especially for those who live in Dikmen, it is not in vain that they change the area.

Stuff are so friendly and helpful, it is not important that they don't speak English, clean, quite hotel but not always, food good. I recommend it to try.

You have a cheap market near this hotel and alot of restaurant. A huge mosque exist infront of this hotel. This is 3 star hotel . Rooms and environment is very neat clean. Good lift facility. Highly recommend

Like a time capsule, some may see it as gaudy but it's a trip back to when things were simpler. Im assuming thats the 80s cos it reminds me of my grammas house. Breakfast was fresh and the owners kind and helpful. I liked the place. Not too hard to find too. Shops outside sell snacks so you can stock up just in case.

Beautiful little boutique hotel, they try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was made fresh, the interior is designed really cute , across there is a small kiosk, which is family run. In the evening the area is quite calm and the noises you hear are only neighbors speaking, nothing too noisy. We sat out on the calm street at night and really enjoyed it, would come here again

The location was hard to find but i loved everything else..the area was so beautiful, peaceful, full of life!!,the hotel manger and the two kids with him! Were amazing😍😍😍iloved them.

Romantic 5-room well preserved guest house located in the old sector within the walls of the Ankara Castle. Rooms are small consisting of a queen-sized bed, TV, enclosed cloth closets, comfort chairs, and bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Floors, ceilings, doors and frames are of massive wood and tinted dark-brown. Our reservation included breakfast, which was great; a typical türkisch breakfast...

The cleaning staff were very helpful. Ms. Büşra at reception was also very helpful in every way; I thank her. This place definitely doesn't deserve its rating; it should be much higher.

Traffic and parking are relatively convenient.

I chose this hotel because I always felt stressed about parking whenever I stayed in the downtown area of ​​Ankara, and it was a success. The nearby supermarkets and restaurants were also very nice. However, the bed sheets definitely needed to be replaced.

This hotel is still a new one, it is Iranian hotel, and the owner and people working there are Iranians. They are friendly and helpful, yes i paid 2 Euros more but still was satisfied. The locations is amazing, in Taksim area and everything is close to you. Rooms it is ok for what you paying comparing to others hotels in the same area. Very nice hotel for those looking for budget price and close...

this place was totally cold, their heating system was not effective and we were cold all the time. Also, there was an awful smell. the place was not clean and quite old. However. Do not recommend.

This is a nice hotel and the location is okay. The breakfast buffet was good with a good selection. A few negatives: I could hear people in the room next to me, almost as if they were in the same room as me. I was only able to connect one device to the wifi. I connected my phone and although my iPad showed that it was connected, it was not. I also was unable to connect my ereader. Twice I had to go...

Great Location but that's it. Location is great but that's all about it. A/C controlled by them and it was very hot in the room. I was there in mid July !! You get what you pay for.

The went out of their was to help us to find somewhere vegetarian to eat when we arrived, even walked down the road with us to show us the restaurant. Its actually in the good location very central area but unfortunately car can't enter the road , so you need to walk to go to the hotel and its tiring if u have a lot of luggage.. The hotel's location is decent, just a 5-minute walk from the subway, and the surrounding area is quite bustling. However, the hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and service are all quite poor, especially the extremely old and dilapidated amenities in the room. The room is also very small, and the bedding was wrinkled and dirty, as if it hadn't been changed. Breakfast was just so-so. I do not recommend...

Centrally located in Ankara, it's convenient for dining and shopping. The room was a bit small and the facilities were a bit dated, but everything else was fine! It's very close to the airport shuttle stop, which is convenient for getting to the airport. Just remember that the airport shuttle only accepts cash, no card payments, so be sure to have some on hand!

Average hotel okay for stay but if you are a couple find something nice

Amazing Stay at Kayra Hotel. Professional, kind-hearted personnel, with all facilities which I required. Generous, understanding. Turkish hospitality at the top. It is very near to city buzz with all access to restaurants etc. Highly recommend.

The reception lady was sooo nice and friendly. The room was clean , quit and exactly like the pictures. The metro station is only 10 minutes away. In front of the hotel there are A101 and Şok. I highly recommend this hotel.

So adorable hotel! We stayed at there for 20 days. It is one the best family and kid friendly hotel we have ever experienced. The breakfast was wonderful. And Isa at the reception is a gentleman he is so kind and friendly.
