Fantastic location, just across the street from the bus station. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the amenities were pretty standard. The breakfast was excellent, the best I've had in Turkey so far. And the off-season price was really good value. Definitely recommend!

This is my first time in Cappadocia. This place offers comfort and practicality, and the location is absolutely great. It's near the bus station, and there are many supermarkets and restaurants around. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We got a room with a balcony and a street view, which is absolutely gorgeous. The room is clean and fresh. They have a super friendly dog named Hector, he's adorable and makes me feel at home because he always greets me and is super friendly. I'm sure I'll stay here again when I come back.

Even though we didn't stay at the Azalea Terrace, we discovered the hotel through their dog Hector, whom we were kindly allowed to take along on our hikes. All the staff we met were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, which left a very positive impression on us.

If I come back to Göreme, I will definitely choose to stay at the Azalea Terrace.

This hotel truly feels like a home away from home! I was so comfortable during my stay. The breakfast was incredible—freshly cooked every morning and different each day, giving you the chance to try a variety of delicious Turkish dishes.

The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable.

But what really makes this place special is the people. They go above and beyond for you—just like family.

And let’s not forget , Hector their adorable dog who’s always happy to greet you when you return to the hotel! He’s so friendly and adds even more warmth and charm to the whole experience.

To top it all off, you get a beautiful view of the balloons as they rise!

I would to stay here again and again!

The breakfast alone is why you should stay here. Home made turkish breakfast and it varies daily. It's not buffet like the other hotels in the area. It's a family hotel and the lady makes it with her family. The cave room we had was nice and unique and had a washer which you should really use as Cappadocia is like a desert, it's dusty. They also organized transport to the airport for us and they know the people that will do it so there are no scams/problems. The owner also knows a lot about tours in the area. You have Getyourguide options which are cheaper but the quality is not great. We made that mistake, on the way to the hotel we took a shuttle from the airport from getyourguide and waited more than an hour inside the shuttle to wait for other people. Its cheap but low quality. These guys know the best quality tours because they know the people that provide these tours. Sure its a little more expensive but the quality is better than the standard getyourguide options. Its up to you really. While it may seem like you're getting ripped off, in reality they are offering you a better tour so spend a little extra and use the options they advice you.

Even before we arrived they were in constant contact with us. It was by far the best place we stayed based on overall hospitality. The breakfast was great, I never ate that much before on any holiday. The rooms were nice and cozy. No issues with the water heater or drainage in the bathroom. Special mention to Hüseyin and Ali for helping us during our stay there. It was a memorable experience, we will be telling our friends to visit and stay at your hotel.

A memorable stay in the heart of Cappadocia!

The hotel is perfectly located — just a few minutes’ walk from the center, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. The cave rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated — a real haven after a day of exploring. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, with its stunning valley views, is generous and delicious.

A huge thank you to Huseyin and his wonderful team for their warm welcome and great help in arranging our hot air balloon flight. Always attentive and full of good advice!

We also had the chance to explore the region with Erdal, an amazing guide who shares his passion and knowledge of the rock formations with such enthusiasm. His hikes were unforgettable — especially with Hector, the adorable little dog who follows everywhere!

A charming place, a caring team, and a friendly atmosphere — everything you need to fall in love with Cappadocia. We couldn’t recommend it more!

We stayed for just one night — about five hours between our flight and the hot air balloon ride — but really liked the hotel. It’s small and located right next to the balloon company we flew with. It was already quite cold in October, but the room had warm blankets, and even though we arrived around 1 a.m., check-in was quick and easy. In the morning, we had a lovely homemade breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Hospitable, friendly, helpful in all areas of concern regarding tourist information. A peacful relaxing environment situated up high overlooking the most spectacular views from an open air garden. The cave rooms are inviting, cosy & characteristic of this part of Turkey

Even though we arrived after midnight, the staff welcomed us with smile and explained everything. Also they waited for us to have breakfast next morning even though we showed up late. Having a breakfast in the balcony, watching hot air balloons floating around us was spectacular! It was like another world. They offered us one day tour on a SUV and we got to visit many highlights efficiently. It is not cheap but worth the money. They can interpret if you need. When I had some clothes to dry, after washing them in my room, they kindly invited us to the rooftop and let us use their clothesline, which was super helpful. I would definitely come back!
