We stayed here for two nights on the top floor (Room 1) and the view was absolutely incredible. Watching the hot air balloons in the morning felt like a cinematic experience — a picturesque moment that will stay in my memory forever. The host was very kind, and the breakfast was nice as well. The elderly lady serving breakfast was also very sweet.
The hotel is located on a hilltop, so be prepared for an uphill walk if you’re going to and from the city on foot, but the view definitely makes it worth it.
The only downside was the in-house food ordering system, which basically doesn’t function properly. I would also suggest switching the room lighting to warm tones instead of bright white to enhance the overall atmosphere. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

The hotel is located higher up in Goreme, so there are quite a few slopes leading up to it, which can be a bit tricky with luggage. All the hotels in town are cave-style, but only some are natural caves. We stayed in a natural cave room for one night. The room was quite spacious, but the power went out at least four or five times during the day. I'm not sure if it's because the electrical load is unstable closer to the hilltop, but it was always restored pretty quickly. The breakfast was really sparse! It ends at 10:00 AM, but by 9:30 AM, anything that's been consumed isn't refilled. From the terrace, you can see the hot air balloon launch area.

Our family stayed here for four nights, and could not have been happier. We had amazing views all over Goreme from our room (room 1 right at the top). The breakfast was wonderful, delicious and freely available from 8 am. We slept really well in our cave room, and the whole apartment was decorated with lovely Turkish touches such as a colourful lamp and wooden tables. Our host was very helpful with booking airport shuttles both ways, and suggesting tours or hikes (of which we did several). Can’t recommend this place enough.

A pure majesty location optimal for see the Ballons in the sky ! Magic cave rooms and good staff , good position close to the city center ! Absolutely fantastic ! Breakfast with milk tea vegetables , roof top with magic view , an atmosphere for our dreams !!!!!!!

The hotel was so clean and proper well maintained. I feel so good there and The receptionist name(Lion) he was so helpful and good natured person. In general I was very impressed with the quality and attitude. He was polite and friendly. We came early so he offered tea or coffee and he helped for bookings as well.

Beautiful basic hotel with a great view from the rooftop for breakfast. About a 10 minute (steep) walk from town, but that means it is quiet and the views are amazing! Big delicious breakfast served every morning, and lovely staff.

Everything is great. Helpful and friendly staff. The owner of the hotel kindly provided his office space for a night check-in. Breakfast is good. Everything is tasty and fresh. Beautiful views of the surrounding area, hot air balloons fly over the hotel. Rooms in a cave. Very interesting. Definitely recommend.

Service: The uncle at the front desk was very friendly. He helped me find a parking space when I arrived at night and introduced me to the place.

Keep in mind the management is going to change in another year or so hence the property requires more cleaning and they dont do that often , as it is not worth the price.
We stayed at Turquoise Cave Hotel for two nights, paying around £140 for a triple occupancy room. While the name suggests an authentic cave experience, only the lower room truly felt like a cave—the upper room was more of a standard suite, which was a bit disappointing for those expecting a full cave stay.
The breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety and decent quality, and most of the staff were polite and friendly. A special mention to the elderly gentleman and the main owner, who were welcoming and engaging. However, overall service lacked attention, and it was clear that the hotel is awaiting a change in management, as maintenance and renovation seem to have been put on hold.
A major letdown was the cleanliness of the washroom. Even after cleaning, the bathroom had a persistent odor, which made the stay uncomfortable. We had mentioned it, but the issue remained unresolved.
In summary, while the food and staff were fair, the room quality, cleanliness, and overall upkeep were not up to expectations for the price paid. Giving 2 stars overall, with the extra point purely for the breakfast spread.

Hospitable, friendly, helpful in all areas of concern regarding tourist information. A peacful relaxing environment situated up high overlooking the most spectacular views from an open air garden. The cave rooms are inviting, cosy & characteristic of this part of Turkey

Even though we arrived after midnight, the staff welcomed us with smile and explained everything. Also they waited for us to have breakfast next morning even though we showed up late. Having a breakfast in the balcony, watching hot air balloons floating around us was spectacular! It was like another world. They offered us one day tour on a SUV and we got to visit many highlights efficiently. It is not cheap but worth the money. They can interpret if you need. When I had some clothes to dry, after washing them in my room, they kindly invited us to the rooftop and let us use their clothesline, which was super helpful. I would definitely come back!
