This is an excellent value hotel. We had ‘Urgup’ room which was very spacious but less like a ‘cave’ than other rooms. The room Ac was really almost non functional. Given how hot the temperature was I wish they have better AC system. Infact the 2nd bedroom had nothing to keep you cool. We had an amazing stay, and the room was fantastic. Ozan, the manager, was extremely helpful with arranging activities. Ürgüp is a quiet area compared to Göreme, which is much busier—perfect if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten path.

This is a delightful hotel with many rooms cut into the rock. Our room featured a circular jacuzzi bath and double shower bathroom. Lovely views from the dining area during breakfast and supper. Incredibly well restored boutique hotel built around old cave dwellings. The rooms are very clean and the entire place is beautifully decorated. Attention to detail in the architecture is really impressive. They give you a great breakfast and at night there is a lovely terrace to sit out on above all the rooms. Overall a fantastic experience.

It was a unique experience staying in a 350 yr old heritage place. It was our first time in a cave hotel. Golden Cave Suites had all the trappings of a modern hotel while keeping up with the old cave look. The owner told us that the walls will keep crumbling a bit because it is made of soft rock.
