Ambiance is wonderful and charming. But they need to work a lot harder to become a hotel. Service is terrible. Food is awful. Quality of the basic products used in the room (bed, sheets, TV...) is very lousy, and the food is rubbish.

The manager/owner was a really great person. I was staying there with a friend as part of a package we booked with a local travel company, on day of checkout the transfer bus left us as we were little late from our excursion. The manager/owner who was an elderly gentleman helped us get to the bus station then even ran behind and stopped the bus for us. When i had asked him how much he would charge...

I want to give five. But only one thing makes us unhappy. When we go back from the city and prepare to the airport, one of the stuff just sit and play phone game, no hello, no sorry, but just say we didn't order it. Actually is another friendly stuff ordered it. It is not good. Finally the great guide help us. We have no fault. So to be objective, four stars.

Lovely and authentic Turkish cave hotel. Picturesque beauty. Hotel is about one kilometre away from Urgup city center. My room was very big with a large bathroom. The area is located inside hills though some rooms are artificially made cave. Nonetheless, inside room one may feel suffocation. The breakfast was good. Staffs were friendly. Good price.

We were on a tour bus and had arrived at our hotel about 150m away from the MDC restaurant. We were greeted by the MDC restaurant staff at around 9pm and were shown to a table. This hotel is set in a location that is just fantastic. It feels like you are part of a dream. The rooms are big and you have everything you could need. However - we were very disappointed with the food! We had people who do not eat beef and 2 nights in a row they were served something full of tomatoes ! When questioned the staff just did nothing to assist!

Great value for stay with plenty of space in the family connected rooms. Kids loved the pool and the jetted bathtub. We appreciated the hospitality of the hotel, the fruit plate upon arrival, and the hotel restaurant, which had a good number of kid friendly and vegetarian options!

Amazing views and rooms. After all you are staying in a cave. The reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was mold in our bathroom. :( I would maybe even go down to 3 stars for this reason but everything else was very quaint and nice. It’s the highest cave hotel in the area so not super walkable to the nearby shops, but there are taxis. Overall it’s a wonderful cave hotel.

The rooms were amazing and the in-suite sauna and Hammam was great. All round service was above average and all staff were friendly and helpful. We booked our balloon excursion via the hotel and Duygu was very helpful in obtaining us a spot albeit that it we only booked the day before the flight. Cappadocia was the highlight of our Turkey trip and we will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kayakapi Caves Hotel. Guest Services were very helpful prior to our arrival organising two tours around this part of Cappadocia. Unfortunately due to the weather we weren't able to go on our hot air ballooning but the hotel was able to rearrange our ground tours at short notice.

Far from the city. Would have stayed closer to the town if we knew the area. They offer a shuttle to the town but you have to get your own way back. Cost around 500 lira one way. The service of the B&B owner is very good, and the Turkish locals are warm and simple. It's just that the overall environment and the price are not quite consistent. Psychologically, I think it's around 400. Maybe it's the weekend and it's hard to find a room, so the price is high.

Staff and managers are all extremely nice and helpful! They even helped us with booking tours when we ran into issues. Rooms are very luxurious, and the breakfast included is delicious. Our family of four stayed in two beautiful, authentic cave rooms. They each had a lovely bathroom, a sitting area with cushions and rugs, and a shady terrace right outside. The rooms were newly refurbished, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom well-appointed. The best hotel for the price. We paid only 10,000 rubles for two nights in a luxury spa room. The breakfasts were excellent, the staff was very polite. Located in a residential area, the environment is actually good. We live on the fourth floor and have a large terrace facing the park in the residential area. Every time we go to the terrace, we can see innocent and lively children enjoying the facilities in the park. I came for a winter vacation at this hotel and stayed 4 days with my friend and we chose 1 room with 2 beds. the room is very clean and comfortable and here also provides a tour to ride horses around goreme. and they serve very delicious food. I will return to this hotel if I go to cappadocia again highly recommended for those of you who vacation here

Good location close to main attractions in the area, very sweet service during dinner (delicious local food) and breakfast, rooms spacious although no AC which made it a bit harder to sleep in there and Internet connection not the best (I had to go out of our room to get WiFi).

This hotel is amazing, I spent 1 night here. Everything was great except dinner which was a bit small but still great value however breakfast the next morning made up for it. Its 3 minutes walk from the city center and is worth a visit instead of all the cave hotels around.

Unique rooms, but as in any cave dwellings, creates some dark and claustrophobic feelings. Otherwise the hotel is clean and well maintained. No elevators but hotel staff is efficient in hauling your bags up to your rooms. Well built cave hotel near township. Beautiful architecture and spotlessly clean. Different levels with respective 'common balcony' Unfortunately not all rooms have a view. Try to ask specifically for rooms end with number 5 (eg 205 305) as these normally come with views. Meals were decent, waiters were attentive. 3 course meal during dinner was a highlight.

This is a beautiful hotel, with a brand new pool. However, we ate here two nights for dinner. One of them was decent, one was dreadful. Breakfasts are okay. Just about to end our 3 night stay. The place has million dollar views. We got a large cave room with jacuzzi. It has one huge terrace and small private balcony. People were very nice. The breakfast was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for more for a little summer getaway.

Everything was generally close to perfect. Getting in and out was a challenge, but so was getting out. (This is due to the hotel's location in an older settlement.) The owner is one of the most helpful, attentive, and kindest owners I've seen in a long time. He was quick to assist with any arrangements, including airport transfers, hot air balloon flights, and more. The rooms were adequately warm and well-kept considering the cold weather in the city (and the shower water was similar).

We made a reservation without seeing the hotel, looking at its rating, but it was a complete disgrace. They really exaggerated the nostalgic thing, there are hairs on the bed. The location is very central, the rooms reflect the historical texture, we were very pleased with the terrace with a magnificent city view. We were very pleased to meet the hotel owners.

We stayed for 5 days and were very satisfied. Mr. Mehmet and Ms. Ecem are very sweet, smiling and pleasant people to talk to. They were very helpful and interested in everything. The stone room we stayed in was very nice and comfortable, it was extremely clean. The breakfast was very good and delicious. Its location is very close to everywhere in Ürgüp bazaar. A must place to stay.
