Cunda Basel Hotel in Ayvalik

This was one of the worst places we have recently stayed at. The images on ******* for this property do not reflect reality. When we first arrived we were told that our room did not have a sea view even though my wife had actually paid extra for this. So we were charged an additional TL200 for a room with a view. The room was so small that once we put our suitcases down we could hardly turn around. On *******, there were some inviting nice pictures of this property but they were far from reality. It says that they have a pool but it is filled with filthy water and the small pool adjacent to the big one had a snake in the filthy water. This hotel does not have a beach even though it is on the waterfront. Where the sea meets the property there is a wall approximately 6 feet high! Since it was a fairly cool and windy day when we stayed here my son wanted to swim in the pool but again it was not usable. No 82-inch TV, room safe not working, limited dining. Included breakfast does not include drinks for children unless they drink water, coffee or tea. We were charged for a fruit drink! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.
